My check engine late came on and my car had issues turning over. I brought my car in on a Sunday for those issues, and needed an oil change as well as new windshield wipers. I received a call about an hour later with a detailed explanation that included an issue with a battery, corrosion on my brake pads, and some other misc. items. I trusted the people I was paying to fix my vehicle and they quoted my about $600.00. I informed the gentleman on the phone to proceed with fixing all the issues I needed fixed. I picked up my vehicle and everything seemed fine. Staff friendly and car fixed. A few hours later the check engine light came back on. I called back on Monday and informed the team that engine light was back and my car was now pulling to the right. The mechanic had rotated my tires. When I returned the following Sunday they had my car for 2 hours. When I picked up my vehicle they explained why the car was pulling (I needed a new tire all of a sudden) so they rotated them back. They offered my a free oil change for the hassle which I appreciated. Drove my car off the lot and about 30 minutes later my check engine light was back on. Stopped to get gasoline and car wouldn't turn over. Brought car back on Monday and they said they had to order a part to fix the issue. The original diagnosis was that my battery was causing the issue but the assistant manager (I had been working with the manager up until now) explained a battery issue wouldn't lead to the check engine light coming on. I was quoted $140 for parts and labor. I told them to use my "free oil change" for it. I was told I would talk to the manager about it the following day. I returned on Tuesday and was told I would owe $100 (minus $40 for oil change). I explained that I shouldn't owe anything since I paid $200 for a battery that wasn't NEEDED. I was offered an additional 10% off my $100. I took this as a huge slap in the face...I brought my car in, paid $600, car wasn't fixed and additional issues arose after my visit, an oil change was offered as good will, now I'm on my fourth visit and I'm still paying $90 to fix the original issue that was misdiagnosed? Told the manager I would be taking my car elsewhere, and he finally agreed to have me just pay for the part. At this point I just wanted my car fixed and to get out of there. The assistant manager was great, the manager, not so much. I will not be returning, to this or any Jiffy Lube...oh and my wife has had work done there, and during her next visit been asked "who did this to your car; we need to fix ___ right away." Of course, her answer was "you guys did." Not shocked. Had a rep ask for an email & contact info. Provided that info; never heard back. read more

This is my last time coming to this "not so jiffy Jiffy Lube". Every time it's the same thing....up selling and waiting. It's been over and hour. I hate coming here and will now go back to the dealer. Even they don't try the up sell like these people. Plus, I just got home and checked my oil. It sure doesn't look clean/ new to me. Will need to check to see if they changed the filter. Which leads to the question....how do you really know whether they really do change the oil at these places?? read more

Pure trash. Staff is all about making money. I went for a vehicle inspection and they tried to charge me $400 for break pads and some other small stuff. First they said I needed routers as well. Then they said we'll you can do without it. Tried to pressure me into getting a credit card. Just terrible. Do not go there. They're nothing but some sloppy sharks. read more

The service was adequate for a simple oil change. However it's disheartening and annoying when all of your loose change used to pay metered parking is missing when you get back into your car. Not that it was a lot of money, perhaps only a few dollars but it's tacky and rude to steal it regardless. Moreover, when you call to notify management and receive no consideration it only makes the consumer feel unappreciated and their concerns immaterial to their business. Even after attempting to contact the district manager Randy Hentschke at 561-699-0322 and leaving a unspecified reason for my call other than to comment on the location and my experience, there was no reply. Slow, slow, slow. They are big on the upsell, which is awful when your basic oil change is $43. Mine ended up costing over $100, after I declined the tire rotation and engine fuel exchange. Plus, the ordeal took over 90 minutes, with a full staff. I had two cars in front of me and plenty of techs were hanging around. Do not recommend. Find somewhere else. read more

I am a very understanding person. Although this visit definitely was bad. I came on a Tuesday at 3 and was there for 2.5 hours for an oil change, an oil change. There were only 3 other people there waiting for oil changes yet it took 2.5 hours to get done. I noticed that employees would go to your car do a little bit of work, then hang around for a little talking amongst themselves. Then they attempted to get me to buy a new battery for my car by leaving my car key in the idle state, draining the battery. I said no way and got a jump it worked . They left it on till they finished. Turned it off when they were done. Then I went out and turned it on without a problem. hen when I wanted to check out it took 20 minutes to check out but no one seemed to know who was closing out who. I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon. I do want to point out that Robby was really nice. Im sorry this place makes you wait forever and the waiting room is the size of my closet. I would never send any of my friends or family to this place. Also they are way over priced and rude. If you want bad service go to Jiffy Lude of Delray Beach. Please do not waste your time or money here. They told me i had 6 things wrong with my JEEP when i only came to get an oil change. Horrible. Tried this location for the first time as they are near my work place and I was heading out of town that night. I called first with the details- that I wanted to drop it off and have everything completed (signature oil change) over the next couple hours. When I dropped it off the workers were not helpful at all- had to search for someone to assist. The person who did assist had me fill out a form that in no way connected me to the vehicle and they gave no reason for the form- upon pick up they didn't even have the form and i had to tell them all the info again anyways. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was instructed to wait inside but no one came in... I went back out 5 times to request assistance before someone finally came in, then another associate told him to wait and he left without a word. When I was finally checked out the associate mumbled in very poor English and I could not understand him at all. They had me sign the sheet of work performed before giving me my keys- the form included washed windows and a vacuum which I later found were not at all even attempted. I also found some kind of maintenance cap in the car on the dash. Very dissatisfied with this location/establishment and do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Furthermore- the customer service line had me on hold for over an hour during their recorded hours of operation ( this was between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm),I never was able to get a hold of anyone. read more

Only reason I came here was I had a coupon. Normally I change the oil myself for the same price the coupon offered, thinking I would save time. Boy was I wrong. I was waiting for an hour and a half for an oil change, and they kept pressuring me to buy more services. He went on for 6 minuets trying to convince me to get a new radiator, coolant change, and a tire rotation. Also they didn't do a through check of what they showed me on the list. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and a tire Rotation to this location and they broke rear hub and sensor. Didn't say anything and the only way I knew it was them was because soon as I pulled off from the shop all these lights on my dashboard came on. I brought it back to them for a total of 3 times while they tried to repair the problem which they never did! I took my car to another repair shop and I have over 400 dollars in damage because of the lousy work these guys did. I will be contacting corporate!!! read more

Stay away!!! Another store broke my radiator hose during a flush and I was sent here to have it replace at their cost. The other store had already taken my VIN and a picture of the hose to order the part, but this store said I had to bring it to them to see for themselves so they didn't order the wrong part. Took the Jeep to them and had to wait 2 hours for them to look up the part. Part was supposed to be at the store on Saturday. It didn't come. Due to the Labor day weekend had to wait to Tuesday to get the part. They said come anytime after 11am and they would put the part in. Got there about 1230 and had to wait 3 hours to find out they ORDERED THE WRONG PART! So I have spent 6 hours trying to get the part they broke fixed....... I asked how much labor would be if I brought in my own oil and oil filter they told me I would get a $3 credit and would still cost me $40. After getting a flat when I dropped off my car at Jiffy Lube on Atlantic Ave in Delray and they accepted no responsibility although they were the only ones who drove the car from the time I dropped off till I picked it up with a nail in the tire I contacted corporate who referred it to local HR manager who counseled the local managers who spoke to me at the time but that completely missed the point that this was a customer satisfaction/relations issue NOT am HR issue! They had inspected the tire as part of their service and indicated it was fine and then when I picked it up there was an issue they essentially said too bad...so sad not their problem. read more

Worst experience ever. Please don't even waste your time there. First, I went to get my oil charged. $43 dollars..seems a little expensive, but whatever. So I waited for a while and they called me out to go over my "review" They proceeded to tell me a million things were wrong with my car. The staff was polite and attentive. It stops there. My car has only 36,000 miles and runs perfectly. I brought it in for an oil change. I was promised no more than a 30 minute wait. Took 60. They told me I needed a new battery, the coolant needed to be flushed and the air conditioning system need $199 of work. A new gimmick was giving you a choice between semisynthetic oil and synthetic. I usually buy synthetic. The price of synthetic was about $100, an outrageously inflated price. I purchased a regular oil change and left, feeling I had smelled a rat. I brought the car to a reputable garage who tested the battery and air conditioning systems: they were normal. The coolant only needed topping. Jiffy Lube had checked off the item that stated they had topped my windshield fluid. They hadn't. I filled it with 3/4 gallon of wiper fluid I had at home. In my opinion, this Jiffy Lube's mission is to too fraudulentely extract as much money as they can from unsuspecting customers and provide a minimum of service. My nose still works! read more

One week later I receive a letter from Jiffy which contained... a coupon for a free oil change. Reading the fine prints, this is only to be used for regular oil. I used to dread getting my car serviced because as a female, I always felt like other mechanics were trying to sell me unnecessary services. The technicians here are honest and never pushy. Josh and David are respectful of my budget and time whenever I go in. They work so efficiently and their customer service is fantastic. "Jiffy?" I think not. The staff was friendly & quick to take my Prius. $99 for a synthetic oil change is a lot ($25/qt) but I'm willing if it is speedy. It wasn't. It took most of an hour as they removed the air and cabin air filters to show me how "dirty" they are.. I had changed them only 3k miles ago. Then they tried to sell tire balancing, a "fuel system cleaning" that Toyota does not recommend, and several other pricey services. When I left, I found greasy fingerprints on the glove box door and the air piston that makes it open slowly had been broken. I didn't complain because I know they'd take it out on the staff. The problem here is corporate strategy to boost profits. I think they'd do better to provide quick oil changes, move more customers and insure repeat customers. So, if you go, prepare yourself for high pressure sales and at least a 45 minute wait. I'll always remember the crew member who escorted me to my car and rolled out a little red carpet for me to step on. What corporate bunk. read more

Worst oil place change in the world. Simple oil change took over 1.5 hours. After my car was pulled out of garage it sat outside for another 20 minutes. When I went to ask about it, one of the guys brought over 2 dirty air filters and I was told I needed to have them changed. I said I don't think so, I just had it done 3 months ago. The guy then said I needed my radiator flushed and again I said I don't think so, I had it done 3 months ago. I said just give me my keys after I paid. While walking out I spotted the same two air filters sitting on the edge of another car with its hood up. I then said "are those the same two filters to tried to tell me I needed new filters with"? The guy looked at them, walked over and said "oh no". I said yes they were and you guys are pulling a scam with air filters. I then left and said I'll never be back. read more
