I didn't have an appointment but showed up when they opened at 8 and they have a very easy virtual check-in process. My technician was Aidan and he quickly checked out my tire and the screw I pointed out to him and said they could handle it easily. He inspected the rest of the vehicle and said there were no issue and my tire tread looked good. I got the front windshield wipers replaced - they do it for free with purchase of the wipers. And they finished the patch in under an hour. All around great experience and great price. read more

Absolutely recommend! I came in before the store opened @ 8am with a flat tire. There was a line of 6 people before the door was unlocked. It was a unique tire, so they ordered 4 tires & put them on. They sold a quality high mileage tire for cheapest I could find in the metroplex. (Even better than my Brother-in-law's shop, but we don't have to tell him that). This store was extremely busy. I could not believe the way that some people were treating the staff of this Discount Tire. The waiting room was full of customers that walked in with needs as well as scheduled maintenance. We need to show professionals more grace as humans- we are all truly trying our best & it's insanely hot outside in Texas. Tanner was thorough to work with. I was assisted by Marcos on Monday, 7-7-25, the first day, on the second day Tuesday, 7-8-25, was James. The two young men were awesome and did a great job assisting. Nothing against discount tire but Over priced in general! I tried to go get my tire repaired but since I had plugged the tire they would not touch it. Tried to get me to buy a starting at over $200 tire then as I was getting ready to go show me an under $100 tire....i ended up going up the road to a local name brand store and got it repaired! You CAN get better deals on the same brands of tires at other places! read more

Scam!!! I sent my son to Discount tire ( 8632 Davis Blvd. North Richland Hills Texas 76182. ) to have a puncture repaired. it was a routine cut and dry puncture in the middle of the tread. I'm a 30 year retired mechanic. They called and said it was unrepairable because the belts on both front tire inner were showing. He went on to say the had that size in stock. I thought that was fishy because the tires are around a year old. I asked if they could put the spare on they said it was too old. I told him I would pick the the car up later. When I picked the car up the tires had lots of tread on both tires. The belts were not showing. They lied and tried to steal from me and my family. After forty years as a customer I sadly have to find a different tire company. Please get the word out about this scam!! I would not go to this location! This store is the worst customer service and the corporate leaders should check in on it. Go to the store in Grapevine it's worth the drive I'm not going jump through hoops to tell them why their customer service sucks, they know. I purchase tires at discount tire and one car my tires are right $500+ each and you go to Bedford (more than once) and they are less than service friendly Grapevine store is WAY BETTER... mgr must suck in Bedford titanic sunk you're never too big to fail. An installer named Rayden came to my house for a wheel installation. I needed the tires taken off the old wheels on my car and re-mounted on new wheels and re-installed on the car. He was knowledgeable, intelligent and efficient. The entire job was done in 90 minutes for a very reasonable price. I'll never take my car to a tire shop again. Let them come to me! No more quick free air check. This has been my go to for 20 years. Never compared prices or thought of changing where to buy my tires. I loved being able to stop and get tire pressure check and top off at anytime without getting out of car. If there was an issue Id set an appointment and get it fixed. They stopped this service. To get air checked now you have to park, go in, stand in line, wait. Maybe they have a good reason for it but removing that service has introduced me to an easier place to get pressure checked and buy tires. read more

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN!! Do not go! I'm not happy with the service I received. I brought my car in due to my vehicle indicating low tire pressure (and granted, it's time to purchase new tires but I was not in a position to do so). The recommendation was for me to purchase a new tire bc 'something was in it' and the tread was extremely low. So against my better judgement I did. After spending $169, 10 hours later that same tire is low again. So I brought my vehicle back the next morning and was told that the real issue was a crack in the wheel which will be an additional cost that can't be fixed at discount tire. And stated that However the tire still needed to be replaced bc the tread was low and there was a nail in the tire. I had to go and spend another $150 somewhere else to get the actual wheel fixed. I believe if there was a nail in my tire, that it could have been plugged up. I don't like being jerked around for cash. I promise I hate coming to any type of car service places bc I feel as though women are always taken for granted. I thought I could trust Discount Tire, but Scott proved me wrong. Edit: also, I'd like to add. I was never shown a "nail" in my original tire even though 'something was in it'. And I also find it very odd that no one saw a crack in my wheel during the installation or balancing of the new tire. I just don't understand why this could not have been resolved initially. read more

I give Marcus 5 stars because he understood that my car being older but in great shape, and wanting to eliminate steel wheels, he made great suggestions and really cared about I wanted. This was my switch back to Discount Tire from Costco, as Costco takes too long, makes me wait to long to rotate and balance, and flat repairs not always done correctly. Having moving back to Kansas City and South Florida, Discount Tire was not available in those areas at that time! (THEY ARE NOW!!) While time was important, the tires I wanted were not in stock, I settled for others which I am sure are good and without spending a fortune, or comprising too much, for a car which might not be kept long. Time will tell on the Arizonian tires which Marcus said are now made by Goodyear, and not Cooper. The alloy wheels look great, and similar to the originals, so no more hassles with steel wheels and plastic hubcaps! The service was much faster than expected. I was surprised that Discount Tire no longer puts lithium grease on the studs as they once did, nor put in nitrogen. The guys doing the work were very fast, and I have to assume that all was done properly. We saved the best wheel, so I now have a full size spare instead of a donut, but I spent a lot of time making everything fit just right in the trunk! It would not have been completely fair if I expected everything to be put back just right in the trunk! I hope that this is the start of a loyal customer again! (Back from 1986 to 1992 I was an independent contract courier, doing 60,000 local miles per year and purchased a new set from Discount every year!) I had a blowout on 360 and after a change to my donut, I made my way here. The fellow helping me looked at the tire in my trunk and started talking about weather and breaking down of sidewalls and such. I told him that wasn't so much the problem as the GIANT HOLE that was blown through my tire when I ran over something on the highway. He mostly didn't listen to me while he checked my tires. I had three tires that needed replacing and one that was ok, but would need replacing soon. I went ahead and replaced all four. He failed to mention, or ask me if I was interested in the OPTIONAL store warranty, he just added it to my bill. I knew I was going to need new tires soon but this was a big inconvenience. The service I got inside didn't make the situation any better. I will say, the guys who actually changed my tires and brought my car around were absolutely lovely. Worst service ever. Been there 3 times in the last year and had to wait 3 to 4 hours for service. Bought new tires last year and had a nail in the top of the tire. I made sure that was the only nail. they said it was in the sidewall and I needed a new tire. I knew this wasn't true but I wasn't able to argue at that point, three hours later this is deceptive trade practices. Awful customer service. now I trade at the Hurst location. Process takes forever and is very inconvenient. Thankfully I have 3 other locations either on my way to work or near my work that I can use instead of going here. This is the worst tire experience I have ever had. I have written 3 other reviews and some how the posts keep getting taken down. I have had to have my interior clean several times due to the mechanics do not washer their hands or take their gloves off. Reason according to Jarrad is we do a lot of tires and time is more important then clean. I have requested they we're careful when rotating my wheels but they have damaged all my wheels one wheel Discount had to have the damage repaired. Excuse store manage we do a lot of tires so damage will happen. A customer did not speak very good English when the customer asked a question more then once the the manager stated I did not stutter. My last incident I was quoted a price for tires and once I got home and applied for the discount which I was told applied to my purchase my tires did not qualify. I called discount an employee said oh yah sorry about that. With the lack of knowledge and concern I returned the tires a few days later. On my last post I request to be total disconnected from disconnect tire for any service and the manager called a gave me a refund for all the tires purchased for the balance and rotate. I went to a local Firestone and saved hundreds. Stay away until new management is trained and brought in. read more

These guys really have it together. I've used Discount Tire for new tires, tire repair, and air check. They are competitively priced for new tires (at least when you go for the cheapos like I do) and they repair punctures on those tires (like this week, when I somehow ran over an allen wrench) for FREE. Filling up tires is free (and quick) as well. It baffles me that anyone pays for air at the gas station when you can get your tires pumped up for free here without even getting out of your car! You can make an appointment online, but the wait doesn't seem to be too bad if you show up when they open either. They are super efficient and usually can get you in and out in no time. Very friendly too! In case you care, they do have a well-executed system for contactless service. They have a man under a tent outside that checks you in as you drive up and then you wait in the car until it's time for service. The staff motions when it's your turn and guides you to drive your car into the garage. Personally, I felt bad for the staff, standing out there in long pants, long sleeves in over 100 temps with a mask over their face, but hey... I guess that's what the customers demand these days. read more

I drove up here this morning for an aircheck only to find out my left passenger side tire has a nail in it. All four tires were purchased less than six months ago from the exact location with full coverage replacement insurance on all four. This guy Cody stepped up to my car talking about patching up the tires for free or paying around $16 for a replacement. We agreed on a replacement; I'd rather not patch up a tire, especially if I paid extra for "full coverage" as offered. This shady Cody person insisted that I agreed to a patch-up and went on and on about whatever. He was rude, disrespectful, uncouth, and a complete scoundrel. "You don't carry a nail and just come and get a replacement, but I will do it this one time," he said to me as though doing me a favor. The question remains, why would I pay extra per tire for a patch-up? I only got my tire replaced because I insisted on it. Had an appointment for 1:15 waited until 2:15 my car still hadn't been brought back. I was told my car was next, waited another 15 until 2:30 asked again and was told the same thing. Waited 15 more minutes then asked for a refund then magically they brought it back and had it done in 10 minutes. I don't see the point of making an appointment if you have to wait an hour and a half anyway. read more

I like discount tire just not this location. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone after the service I received from Cody (short guy with glasses and likes to smack on his chewing gum)... I stopped in last week because I had a nail that needed to be patched, according to Cody it couldn't be patched and he tried to sell me a replacement tire for 100 bucks?! I think not, I knew already it could be patched, it's frustrating that still to this day EVERYONE gets profiled in some way or another. Went to check my low tires, was helped right away! But, the young boy asked "which tires do I need done? While talking to this hispanic with braces entire time, filled only 1 tire and said I'm good to go! My dash says low still. I look around my car at home and 3 of my tires are low still. I sent my husband James up there he told my husband, Manny" said chrome on my rim is corroded causing my tires to be flat. My husband said " that does not make any sense by the chrome is chipping off the rim is causing the tire to go flat on one rim. To make this short basically he was trying to tell us we need new set of 4 rims and 4 tires. We wasn't haven't it! We took our suv to Tire Store. I'm pretty loyal to discount tire as a whole but this one just really annoyed me. I broke my own rule about not getting there right at opening as I had an event at my daughters school that I had agreed to help with ... they let me know it would be an hour and a half to two hours which was fine as I walked over to one of the nearby places to eat and have lunch. I expected a wait and I was ok with two hours given that I didn't get there until 10:30/11 and I was doing stuff remotely anyway that day. Walked and got lunch, when I sat back down in their lobby I made note I would still have a thirty min to hour wait based on the hour and a half to two hours they told me ... So I started returning phone calls, checking email ... no problem for me normally as I realize I got here later than I normal would have. Hit the two hour mark and I noticed my car hasn't moved. I ask at the counter and they tell me there are still 5 cars in front of me and it would easy be another hour. I let him know I was told two hours so they would see what they could do ... I made a few calls to see if anyone could come get me but unfortatly if I had asked when I got there someone could have but everyone I could get in touch with was 30/45 mins away, unable to leave work, my dad at a doctors appointment and my mom without a car with my kids at her house cause dad had their car at the doctors I go ahead and wait the hour and they still hadn't pulled my car in ... my phone is out of juice so I can't take work calls or emails any more, my day is a bust ... cant get anyone to come get me .... I ask again and this time tell them give me my money back cause they wasted my time and they quickly pull my car in to the bay to keep from having to refund the $200 something I spent including the warranty... From now on I'll go to the locations closer to my house or my in laws than going to this one closer to my parents and work ... and get there right at opening. read more
