I highly recommend this Kwik Kar location. Friendly service from beginning to end. I went in for an oil change. Without asking, they topped off my washer fluid and aired up my tires, which I appreciated. The technician alerted me to an exhaust problem that potentially would be covered by warranty with the dealership and didn't try to talk me in to anything- was simply letting me know. I also really like the printout they give you so you know where you stand as far as battery life and recommended services for the future based on the mileage of the car. I can look things up to educate myself before making any decisions as well. Since buying a car these days is SO EXPENSIVE, I want to take good care of the one I have so it lasts as long as possible. I'm pretty surprised by the fairly low rating. I have been going to this Kwik Kar location for about a year. They never try to up-sale me on an unnecessary air filter or wiper blades. They review the car care checklist every time and they point out what the manufacturer recommends and what they might recommend differently. They are fast and friendly. They always have a coupon, even when I forget mine at home. They've even taken me 15 minutes before they opened one Sunday. I am always very happy with their service. read more

Updating my review: While the customer service up front was stellar, the service on my car was not good. A month has passed and I heard a flopping sound under my car. It looked like my oil cover was loose. I took my car to another Kwik Kar location and they advised me not to go back to the original place that did my oil change. The oil drain plug was only FINGER TIGHTENED. I've been leaking oil for this long and the oil pan wasn't fastened! Who doesn't properly torque the oil drip plug closed? I hate, hate most chain repair shops. Let's get that out of the way. Hi Yelplayas and Yelplayettes. What's poppin'? Covid doesn't stop the need for speed. Hit a pothole hard enough to crack a rim. Repaired the rim but the front end pulled to the right and had a shudder upon breaking. Alignment issue for sure. So I hit up Groupon. Best deals showed up at chain shops. I hate em. Low price to get you in then BLAMMMMM! $2,000,000,000.00 Who has that but Bezos? I'm no Bezos. I'm a retiree. I have to find the deals. Called Kwik Kar anyway to get a feel for the techs knowledge and honesty. Spoke to Eli. Eli was honest about the issue, the shops ability to address it given I have +1 after market wheels and scheduling my repair time. I got there early. They got my car on the rack promptly. Here is what set them apart. They fixed just the issue. Huh? Hear me. They fixed just the issue. Most shops get your car on the rack, twittle, then come retrieve you to let you in on how your car needs 50 more parts that cost hella grip. Nope. Eli did come get me, but to tell me he got it back to factory. No extra upcharge. Blown away. Drove off to see if it was correct. Shudder is gone. Drives straight as an arrow. Even with my after markets Eli got my car tracking better than with the stock wheels. I didn't use the groupon. This deserved full price and a nice tip. RIPOFF!! Do not take your car here for service. I took my car here for a state inspection which it did not pass because of a 'p0401 code error' (exhaust gas recirculation/EGR). The error means that the EGR valve is malfunctioning. Possibly stuck open due to the accumulation of carbon on the valve. It could be other things as well but that's what Kwik Kar told me. They replaced the valve and gasket $271.00 Did a fuel system cleaning $99 and $155 of labor for a total of $532. They told me to drive it for a couple days to reset everything then come back and the inspection will pass. I drove it for about 10miles and the check engine light came on. Took it back. They said they blew out the fuel system again. I drove off thinking it was fixed and a half day later the engine light comes on again! When I took it back they said because of the age of the vehicle they will have to clean the injectors which will run me an additional $500! I took my car to a mechanic my friend recommended. He put it on the lift and an hour later showed me the EGR valve that was never replaced or replaced with a faulty part! He charged me $140 bucks and two days later my vehicle passed inspection. Kwik Kar is either a total scam place or the lead mechanic there doesn't know what he is doing. Either way...it's not good. Don't go to this place. I will never go here again. read more

Came in to get a Synthetic oil change on my vehicle that I had purchased through Groupon. When I arrived at the location they said unfortunately my Groupon wasn't valid here anymore. Nevertheless they still helped with my oil changed and got it figured out so that I wouldn't have to pay more. The "manager" Justin was the most unprofessional. He does not know how to talk to people or customers. I was a returning customer but never again. He was yelling and let me know I'll pay the price he'll tell me to pay. After an agreed upon price was made, also after my last visit Justin advised me not to purchase the Groupon as the groupon glitches and that they'll honor the price. I called on 4/17/20 before I bought my Groupon and asked for an alignment. The guy who answered the phone said great and to go ahead and buy it and bring in my car at any time Saturday between 8 am and 3 pm. I show up at 11 am on Saturday 4/18/20 and there is 1 car in the bays and I see guys standing around bs'ing. I go in and have to wait a few minutes before the guys notice I'm there and tell the guy about my Groupon for an alignment and he told me to bring my car back in 3hrs. I told the guy they didn't look that busy and he just turned and walked out of the office ignoring me. I sat out front for a few minutes on the bench and the only car that was in the bay was finished, and none of the employees there came out to say they could do my alignment and went back to bs'ing with themselves. As a young female I was 100% taken advantage of. The man that helped me was pushy and I felt extremely uncomfortable. I went in for an oil change and not even 5 minutes later the man came back with a $700 bill. Whether it was legit or not I don't know. This place gets an A+. I stopped in to get my car inspected, just because I was passing by and late on my inspection...and I will definitely be coming back! I normally use an oil change place closer to my house, but the guys who run that one are total jerks. NOT this place! I had my tired three year old with me, and ended up having to call for my insurance cards (because the last place - the one with the jerks - "forgot" to give them back to me after I decided not to do my inspection there). I just can't say enough nice things. The guys here bent over backwards to help me, didn't make things hard because I didn't have the insurance cards, and they were extremely polite and professional. Not to mention patient with my toddler, who was up past his nap-time and kept trying to interrupt and being totally unruly while I was distracted! They also have a glass repair business there, and they fixed two cracks in my windshield at no cost to me. My insurance covered it, and they did all the work to get the approval from the insurance company. The place is clean, air conditioned, with a tv and plenty of chairs, tables, a coffee machine with flavored coffees...etc. Highly, highly recommend!!! read more

I Brought my car in when it stalled on the side of the road. They ran a test for 15 minutes and told me I needed a full engine replacement and it would cost at least $6,000. After 15 minutes? The new management apparently doesn't feel that customer service should be a priority. I have come here for years, but after today will never come back. It is a real shame when a good business is sold and the customers suffer so badly. I asked to replace my wiper blades with "whatever is your cheap option." I thought I'd get the wiper blades that were $10 each as that was what was on the sign. Nope, I got two $20 RainX ones without anyone letting me know that I was getting something more expensive than what was advertised. I was told that coolant flush on my car would be 89.99, but since I was there already for an oil change they would charge me "seventy". I paid at the end and didn't see that the price wasn't adjusted. I then spoke to the manager who said that he meant it would be "79.99 not 89.99". This isn't what he originally quoted me, but fine. I went to get a refund and then was told by the heavily tattooed woman at the register that I wouldn't get a refund for the tax because "we have no way of knowing how much that is. Was it just five cents?" Back to the manager to explain that if I'm getting only a partial refund I want the whole thing. In discussing it with me he starts calling me "son" over and over again, and the woman at the register kept rolling her eyes at me whenever I'd speak. Finally I had to do the math for the manager, who agreed to refund me the tax on the $10. The rest I'll have to eat as a learning experience to never come back. All of the overpayment would have been fine, except that I was treated very rudely for someone who paid for an oil change, set of wiper blades and a coolant flush. Being talked down to and referred to as "son" repeatedly is a pretty good way for me to decide to never come back...and be vocal about why. I see that the management doesn't have a record of me coming in. I was there Thursday June 15th, arriving at 3, and filled out all of the customer paperwork that was given to me. When I asked why this was necessary as I had been coming for years, the employee told me that the new management had a new system that didn't have old customers. New management. New computer system. I been going to Kwik Kar in Euless for sometime now. I went there on 3/18/21 for a high mileage oil change. The guy who changed my oil told me to step out and take a look at an issue he saw! It was my brake fluid. He said it needed to be flush. I told him I just had my brake fluid flushed HERE on my last oil change which was 5,000 miles ago. I told him to look it up in the system. He saw where they SUPPOSEDLY did the service on the last oil change. Then, he tried to laugh it off and told me " you drive a lot" This made me believe that they didn't flush my brake fluid. Then I asked for RainX Windshield wipers and I watched the cashier go get the "Bosch" brand. When I checked out and saw that I was charged for rainx wipers, I asked the cashier about this. Shortly after I I made this post a management leader responded to my email and called me the next morning. Took the time to explain the charges in detail and offer me a refund for the charged services of he rear brakes. In addition he offer a free premium oil change of 89.00 dollars. He express that he wanted to keep my business and apologize for my troubles. I had negative experiences with other car maintenance shops before and never received this personal customer attention. Nobody at desk, several people waiting. Went back out. Waited another 15 minutes. No eye contact, no nothing. Went next door to discount auto. They got me right in and out. My time is worth more than $13. GO TO DISCOUNT AUTO. They will take care of you. The Kwik Lube used to be family owned but they sold it several years ago. Have been taking our vehicles here for years and received great service but with the new owners the place has gone down hill. We had our oil changed ($89) waited nearly an hour with no other cars in the bays, got it home the oil filter wasn't tight so it leaked oil on our driveway and my husband had to tighten it himself. Went in today with a Groupon. Justin, the regional manager was there and was very helpful. My car takes an extra quart of oil and a premium filter but he waived both of those fees for me. They weren't pushy at all, which says a lot considering I'm a female going to a oil change place alone. They're usually really pushy and try to take advantage of me. This location is not the most convenient for me but since I had a coupon and needed my state inspection done I decided to go there. I was a little surprised at how long a simple inspection and emissions test was taking and then realized they were checking everything they usually do when I have it serviced. A little unusual but it never hurts to be thorough. They called me outside to go over everything and I was told my breaks were at 30% and needed to be replaced. Also my transmission fluid looked bad and needed a flush. He even put some on his finger which looked dark and kind of gritty. This had me worried because I just had a transmission maintenance done a few months ago. My first thought was "those jerks at the other place didn't do what I paid for!" I decided I needed to have words with them first and then research brake info before spending more money. I was so grateful they inspected all of it for me! So on Monday I go back to my usual place under the guise of "I was told this by another place, what do you recommend I have done and what's your price". I never indicated to them that I'd already had it done by them. He looks at the fluid and I watched him pull out the dipstick this time and it was clearly a different color. Not at all what I was shown during the inspection. He explained everything in great detail and told me I didn't need anything done at this time (still not knowing I was a previous customer of theirs and they were not busy). He also checked my breaks and said they don't recommend changing the pads until they are at 20-25% or I have other warning signs which he explained. He even asked me other questions about my vehicle and surmised that I could possibly make it another 25,000 miles on what I have given how I drive. I will never go to a different place just because I have a coupon. It scares me to think how much more I could have spent last weekend on repairs that aren't needed. Ps. When trying to explain price agreement before, manager Justin came in obviously upset saying quote "you will pay me what l tell you to pay me!" This was my 1st time coming here because of the Groupon deal. All I was gettinnIt was a very uncomfortable experience . All I was getting was an oil change. From the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out the manager was constantly yelling at all of his employees. He was even rude and very blunt with the customers as well. One lady who said she had been going there for years got so upset that she left without her repairs being completed. She had told them she only needed front brakes however they had taken all of her tires off and was ready to complete brakes on all sides. She made them put all the tires back on her car and she left after the manager got an attitude with her. Everyone in the lobby heard her say front brakes only. My oil change was taking longer than expected so I looked out the window at my car and the guy was having a very hard time putting the rubber piece back on the bottom of my car after he had change my oil. So I told the manager it looks like he's having some trouble and may need some help. He told me nope he does not need any help! That is my brother he knows what he is doing and I made him put the car back inside because he didn't do it correctly in the first place. I said what didn't he do correctly? The manager looked at me with an extreme attitude and rolled his eyes and said to me as though I was stupid Aamir he didn't put the rubber piece back on correctly. So I ignored the attitude part and I just said oh OK. Then I saw the service guy getting ready to drive my car out immediately after I told the manager "so just like I was trying to explain to you before, he did not put the rubber piece back on all the way. So then he starts yelling in saying bring the car back bring the car back! It takes them a whole Nother 15 minutes just to put the bottom of my car back on so I can leave which was ridiculous! Then when I was getting ready to leave the manager tried to tell me "hey you may need to get an alignment soon bec.... " I cut him off really quick before he could complete his sentence. I said no sir I do not need anything I just bought this car two months ago from Carmax. and it was fully inspected and repairs would have been done prior to selling!
