I appreciated the great service and, although the tire was a little pricey, I couldn't argue as it was the only one that would fit on my car. However, I know what I am getting myself for Christmas...three matching tires! This is going to sound odd, but, besides the customer service, I was so excited to use the old school towel dispenser in the bathroom! I took a chance and called purple auto and they came out within 20 minutes and saw there was a hole in the tire that could be patched up. It Took about 15-20 min and it was good to go. I was helped immediately with no wait time. The service was efficient and quick. The nice gentleman there, Albert helped me. He explained to me they would also check my car fluids, tires and make sure my car will be in good safe condition for my trip. Before working on anything else, Albert explained to me that my front brakes were at 10% so I had him fix that as well. I did not feel overwhelmed like I have before w other mechanics. Albert and his team are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They had my car up and running in a reasonable amount of time. Hard to trust mechanics these days however, you can definitely trust Albert and his team to deliver 100% work on all car maintenance. It's a family owned business so you know these guys aren't here to up-sale you on services you don't need unlike other auto maintenance places you know you'll be getting ripped off. I certainly did not feel that way about Albert's Auto transmission. They provided great experience and I will be bringing my car back for future maintenance. I was never clearly informed about storage fees, and every time I called I was told not to worry about them meanwhile the charges kept increasing to an unreasonable amount. That is completely unacceptable and misleading. Instead of explaining anything or helping me understand the situation, he repeatedly told me to "get a lawyer." The entire process was disorganized, slow, and poorly communicated. At times I was even made to feel like I was at fault, even though my car was parked and I had nothing to do with the accident. I do appreciate Jay for helping me the night of the incident, but overall this shop came across as more focused on making money and getting that insurance check than actually helping customers. There was a clear lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. Customers deserve to be clearly informed about fees and next steps not misled and left in the dark. I feel like he always explains what is going on with my car in a way that I can understand. I'm able to prioritize what I need done and work around my finances until I can get everything but absolutely needs to be done. When my Fiat was having issues with a code, I took it to two other mechanics who could not diagnose it and one I tried to fix it. They didn't. JT's fix the problem and it has not reoccurred since then. He worked with my insurance, your mercury, and helped me get the work done. When my other friend had a problem with her transmission, she was quoted by one mechanic is it going to cost $700. JT's did it right and we haven't had the issue with the transmission since then and it was less than half. I know every job is different and the needs of the car different. But I feel very comfortable bringing my children here.
