I have to admit I've really become a fan of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change national chain. First off, as a wheelchair user I love not having to exit my car - while there are others who offer this option, it makes the process just so much easier for me that I'm hard-pressed to find a reason to go anywhere requiring me to leave the car. Valvoline typically has 2-3 bays. This location has three. All three were active today when I visited. Employees are friendly, courteous, efficient, and I've yet to have a truly bad experience (I will admit the Glendale/Keystone location occasionally falls a bit short). While oil change is in its name, Valvoline does more including air conditioning, air filters, battery replacement, differential service, light bulb replacement, radiator service, serpentine belt replacement, tire rotation, transmission service, fuel system cleaning, wiper blades, and electric vehicle service. They also offer fleet service. I do not have a fleet of vehicles. I would acknowledge this isn't the least expensive option in town, however, they almost always have coupons available. If you go to the website from the Yelp page, you'll see coupons. As I pulled in, I was quickly acknowledged. I was pulled into the third bay and given a time estimate that ended up being accurate. Yes, you do tend to get the list of recommendations (I'm not fond of this approach, but it's standard). Overall, I've found Valvoline to be the most reliable option in Central Indiana. I also find them to be consistent across locations. At this point, I tend to consider Valvoline my "go to" option. If one's around, that's where I go. This was another positive experience in my first visit to this location.

They were efficient and quickly completed the job. This was an all new crew from my last visit. I have had my oil changes done here for quite a few years, on both my personal vehicle and my work vehicle. I was used to seeing the same employees. I didn't recognize any of the employees this time, but they all did a great job. One thing I appreciate about Jiffy Lube is that they will refill your windshield washer and top off other fluids in between oil changes. I travel a lot for work and often run out of windshield washer fluid, especially in the summer due to the bugs. But they are always happy to refill it at no charge, which is a great value.

They did a full inspection with photos and gave me a detailed quote. Most shops do that now, but what stood out was how there was absolutely no pushback when I said I only wanted a new tire and my battery swapped. Most shops will upsell you to death and try to convince you to fix things that aren't absolutely necessary. Keith was great to work with. He explained everything clearly and never made me feel stupid for not knowing much about cars. Really appreciated that. Overall, solid experience and I'd definitely go back.

I've been 3 times prior and always watch videos on my phone with the belief that I was being taken care of by honest employees. Yesterday something in my gut told me "pay attention" and thank God I listened. When I let the two employees know that I seen them putting synthetic oil in my car and not full synthetic they both became very rude and hostile despite me approaching them thinking they made a simple mistake and could flush and re-do. The older guy excuse was and I quote "They sent us the wrong stickers and the one that says synthetic is the full synthetic". Despite them playing with my intelligence I remaind calm and the more calm I was the more rude and upset they became. I said "how did they send the wrong stickers ?(the stickers on the big square containers that hold the oil to the right of your car when in the bay). They did not send the wrong stickers because the stickers say what they are supposed to say.(lie #1) Then he says "We accidentally put the stickers in reverse on the containers. So the one that says synthetic is full- synthetic and vice versa"(lie #2). So I ask "If you know that the stickers are wrong (just entertaing their b.s even though I knew it was b.s) why haven't you fixed it?" I was then told "you chose to come here, we did not ask you to come here damnit" I asked "What does me choosing to come here have to do with you two cheating me? If I go across to McDonald's, I chose to go there. But me choosing to go there does not mean it's okay for them to charge me for items but put items tbat cost less in my bag and expect me to be okay with it". One of the guys says "Your receipt says full synthetic. What the hell is your problem" I say "First you need to relax with the attitude because I have not became loud with you two nor have I gotten a attitude. The receipt is going to say whatever you type into the computer. I'm far from unintelligent". At this point I was sick of the lying , aggressiveness and attitude all because they were caught. So I left. I will be contacting the BBB and speaking with DAVE the GM. I missed him today but will be speaking with him Monday. I refuse to let this go because how many people have these two done this to!!! Not to mention I watched him print my receipt and place it on the counter before they were done. When I confronted them the older employee balled up the receipt threw it away and printed out another he had the first one folded in half. I'm sure he was going to hand it to me hoping I wouldn't check the receipt which probably had synthetic on it and not full synthetic. The container closest to your hood when in bay says synthetic (the oil they used) the one closet to your trunk says full synthetic. I'm glad I got pics. I will NOT be letting this go and will 100% staying on top of this till this is made right and those two are put to a stop with screwing over people even if I have to get the news involved

Imagine his surprise when they hit him up for $65?!? I called to ask and "Josh" explained that a 2011 Corolla requires the full synthetic (+$20) and, apparently, an upgraded filter (+$4.60) and he is not allowed to use a lower grade than what is required.... Amazingly, the Toyota dealership is unaware of this law & has been using the wrong oil all of these years. Do not support thieves & liars like these guys--go elsewhere.

Consumer Beware - Faulty Parts, Misleading Warranty, Zero Accountability…read more I am beyond frustrated with Tire Central and feel obligated to warn other consumers. I purchased struts from this shop roughly two years ago. They failed within a year. Getting the warranty honored was a battle--I had to fight relentlessly just to get them to acknowledge the failure. For six months, I complained about noise and defects before they finally "acquiesced" and replaced them under warranty. Now here we are less than a year later, and the replacement struts have failed again. This time, the shop flatly refuses to replace them, claiming they "only warranty one replacement." Think about that: You buy a defective product it fails they replace it that replacement fails you're on your own. That policy tells you everything you need to know about the quality of the parts they use. If they had to stand behind them beyond one replacement, it would clearly cost them too much. That's not customer service--that's a bait-and-switch business model that shifts the risk onto the customer. To make matters worse, after discussing this the day before, I was told to come in and that the job would take three hours. I took the morning off work, rearranged my schedule, showed up--only to be told then that they would not honor the warranty. Apparently this decision was "written on the log by the phone." So why wasn't I told before I wasted my time? Tony, the owner, will not return my calls. Instead, the staff hides behind "policy" and shuts down any real discussion. I've spent thousands of dollars with this company over the years. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. There are better repair shops, better prices, and far better warranties elsewhere. Learn from my mistake. I am now pursuing this matter in small claims court. Consumer beware--stay away from this repair store. And by the way the fact that they have a huge Goodyear sign on the building they accept Goodyear credit cards they are not a Goodyear store. I have found Goodyear stores to be much more reasonable and customer-centric. This is just all about profit..... Screw the customer.

Tried to pay with points and they didn't know how to do it which tied me up at the end when I just wanted my keys and to leave. Took nearly 20 minutes to checkout and go. Was given the wrong key at first when leaving until they could find mine again. Was told management had a death in the family. While I empathize, is the shop not trained and staffed to handle a gap? I could see slow service, but I received slow and bad service. Stay away!
