I went in for an oil change and went back straight home. Next day oil stains appeared on my driveway. When I open the trunk there's oil spilled all over the engine bay of my car. Maybe they didn't have a funnel or they turned on the car without the oil cap in place. I don't know what happened but they never told me about it and they did noticed it because they tried to clean the engine cover and just left it like that. Jorge at this location informed me that I can get a free top off before the 6000 miles from the previous oil change. Some thing I was not informed of at my first visit to a Jiffy Lube. I was driving from L.A. to Hesperia when my oil light came on. I got off the freeway and found jiffy lube. I figured I'd just have them change my oil since I was there. They checked my oil and it was low. They then told me that they didn't have my filter in stock. Oh no. But the very kind gentleman said they would top it off so that I'd be safe. This place is a joke, I called today at 4:45pm and specifically said my wife gets home from work as 6:15 or so but can be there by 6:30ish. Guy said yea no problem bring it in. So I did and I was told no it was to late 25 minutes to close they had 2 cars and turned me away even after I said I had called to make appt. They said they didn't remember me calling... There so full of shit... Never again will I take my car there or any of my cars.. Bunch of lazy fucks.. These guys should be fired denying service. Especially after I made an appt.. Do not go there. I'm not sure if this is how they run this place or if the employees get a commission off of each rip off ... my go to spot is mitus off of the same st sierra ave .. today they were busier than normal and I decided to give this spot a chance... $136.00 for a "synthetic oil change" cuz of my special 2018 Camry... yep they got me ... Well my second trip here I was happy because this spot is close to my house. It's convenient to not have to go all the way to dealer for simple oil change.... But as I walked up to parking lot to pick up my truck I noticed they backed my truck into the tree next to parking lot and left it. Seriously?! Just left it up against the tree. When I confronted them about it just happened to be the guy that moved it and all he had to say was man I backed up real slow I didn't even know I did it. First of all how do you slowly bump a tree and not know??!! Most likely he backed up quick and jumped out. Secondly - come on I have a back up camera!!! It's a 2019 truck with a back up camera so somebody wasn't going slow and paying attention because the tree was all up in the back up camera screen when I started my truck. Then I was given "I'm sorry man I didn't mean to" then turned over to someone else to finish transaction because apparently he didn't want to own up and finish. No discount! No free offers! No manager coming out just handed to another guy lost on what was happening so can't take out on him. This guy did his best to be professional walk me out show new oil etc so my hats off to the guy working on his sons birthday so he salvaged some of the day. The bumper is reinforced so there was no damage but the point is it was super unprofessional to just "apologize" walk out and I over hear the guy saying I told the guy I was sorry and just acting like it was no big deal. So ya know I think if I can't trust a guy to move my truck the probably shouldn't let him near it with a wrench! Guess I'll be finding a new spot and/or going back to dealer. To management/owner - just lost good pocket full of money. Spent $400 today alone.... would've been more but they couldn't rotate my tires or do my differentials so your loss for future business. Btw I was too mad to take a picture but I did show the guy that walked me out just so someone saw it other than myself. Came in early around 10am, no line. Price is what you expect from this a jiffy lube, just came in for an oil change. Basically a whole hour to get the oil change, I don't mind paying more for an oil change because it should take 15 mins, but a whil hour, come on man! Still 11:12am and they are not even done smh. Avoid at all costs. My wife's car (Kia Forte) needed an oil change so I looked up online. The Jiffy Lube website gave me this location and stated their "Value Oil Change Plus" started at $22.95. The same website gave me a $13 off coupon for this location. Since her car is a simple 4-cylinder the "starting at" price should apply. My wife arrived and asked for the "Value Oil Change Plus" and was told she had to pick between a $79 service or $99 service. She showed them the page with $22.95 and they said "that is an old promotion and we don't honor it." She was also told they would not accept the coupon. After speaking with the counter person some more she got them to admit the $79/$99 was for "synthetic" oil. She stated she didn't want synthetic. After implying she would ruin her car, the counter person quoted $43 for the regular oil change but still no coupon. That is more expensive than the Kia dealer! My wife then asked to speak with the manager. At the end he stayed with the $43 but accepted the coupon. She was in a hurry so she agreed. They then came to her and said she needed air filters, which she refused. After she got home I went to check the filters. No surprise, there was dust on the air filter housing like the rest of the engine compartment. It had not been opened so they told her she needed a filter without looking. I feel bad for all the people that end up paying way too much because they don't know better. I will be complaining to the corporate offices, but I'm guessing it won't do any good since "each location is independently owned and operated." read more
