I arrived to Jiffy Lube to get an oil change on my car, the business was empty and 0 wait time. I pull up and the employee walks up to my car and offers me service, I let him know that I actually have my own oil and filter. The employee then tells me that he will have to charge $60 to do an oil change for my car... that is simply outrageous!! Why the hell would I pay $60 for not even an hour worth of work and then have them charge me extra because I provided my own oil and filter. How does that even make sense to charge me almost double for an oil change because I provided my own parts. I guess this is what I get for being too lazy to do my own oil change at home. I will never go to a jiffy lube again, i will just suck it up and do my oil change at home no matter how hot it is outside. read more

This is my third time coming for an oil change and it's always that same. I went right at 8:00 am and didn't have to wait at all. It was fast and easy. They ofcourse offer extra stuff but there is never any pressure to buy what they offer. There's always a coupon to get the best deal. They have me wait 40 mins in 105 degree temps to tell me that they cant service my vehicle be cause there computer doest have any information on a 2020 vehicle. Shady as Fu... Sunday 7/16/2017 Approximately 1:30pm Daniel looked me in the eye and repeatedly insisted my car had "no oil" when I arrived. I check the oil in my car constantly and have it changed regularly. It was full when I brought my car in. As a matter of fact... in the year and a half I've had it I don't remember ever having to add oil. And there are no indications of leaks on top or underneath. I check the oil and fluids frequently and have my car serviced regularly. According to Daniel about 4 quarts of oil vanished from my motor in less than 48 hours. He insisted on this. There are *two* possible explanations for this and *only* two: Either Daniel is a terribly incompetent mechanic or he was simply lying. Stupid or liar? It's one or the other. Also, Daniel suggested that because of this I need to have my engine "flushed out" (does this constitute a recommendation?) and he explained how "it's like if someone smokes..." Um, what? I'm a smoker. Could your team of experts flush me out and, if so, is there a printable coupon because I'm not finding one on your website. I asked Daniel what brand oil filter they use and he seemed surprised and certainly confused but eventually said (after a good 30 seconds at least) "Jiffy Lube brand". After about another full minute Daniel offered up an actual existing brand. I'm not a professional mechanic but I can think of at least 3 brands of oil filters just off the top of my head. Went here because the Jiffy Lube at CSUSB was pretty busy, 6 cars ahead of me, so I didn't want to wait. I had purchased a Groupon for about $50 to get a full synthetic oil change and this was a location where I could redeem it. So I get there and their employee, Danny, is ready to pull my car in to get serviced. Danny had lots of positive energy and great customer service. Waited about 15 minutes to get told what services I needed since I had 2 cars ahead of me. I simply needed an oil change and they asked to change my air filters, they were dirty and getting moldy, so I said yes. There was a funky smell from the AC and it came from the air filter. Took about another 15-20 minutes to get everything done. They had cleaned my windows and vacuumed the inside of my car as a complimentary service. They make solid recommendations and then allow for me to decide which way I want to go! It's off the corner of sierra and Merrill avenue. Make sure you come on Merrill side because there isn't an entrance on sierra (I made that mistake and had to drive around). Avoid this Jiffy Lube at all cost this is my first time writing a review but that's how upset I was at their customer service and knowledge of their products. The first red flag was when I ask a heavy set gentlemen how much would it be to do an oil change on my car he said this for my particular make and model needed full synthetic oil which is fine he told me it was going to be $75 but I told him that I went to another Jiffy Lube and they said they had one for $60 and one for $75 full synthetic, he then stuttered and said yeah we have a $10 coupon off which will bring it to $65 so either he doesn't know his promotions or he was just trying to stick me with the more expensive one. And the icing on top of the cake was I waited there for 30 minutes for this gentleman to come back and say I'm sorry for your vehicle which is a new 2014 we don't have that particular oil filter in stock but my question is why did he take so long for him to figure this out. This just tell me this guy or this Jiffy Lube doesn't know what they have in stock and at the end he had the nerve to walk away and let another guy which how had long hair in a ponytail ,by the way was really nice explain why they didn't have it in stock while the other gentleman walked away and left me with this gentleman with long hair that was the only one polite in this whole establishment. Look elsewhere for your automotive needs do not spend your money with these people because it seems like they don't appreciate their customers or money especially nowadays with there's an abundance of auto specialist out there if you don't want my hard earned money I will take my business elsewhere you will not see me at this location ever again. read more
