Refused to honor Jiffy Lube's corporate coupons, and does not price match. An oil change cost me over $100 even with a lesser coupon applied (which they did honor). They didn't notify the car's computer that the oil had been changed; I had to google that myself to get the notification to turn off. read more

I showed the counter guy the last service I had from Toyota (2021) and he told me he would check my car and let me know what was needed. Per my previous review I mentioned that when I took my truck for service they didn't closed my engine air filter box. I took my truck today to get serviced at another shop and turned out JIFFY LUBE didn't even place a new air filter. I had been running my truck without an air filter for the past 5000 miles. Just an FYI - this Jiffy Lube DOES NOT check your brakes or your battery. Got my oil changed a few weeks ago, and a few days ago I noticed that whenever I would turn my car on, the lights on my dashboard would flash on and off and it took a while for my car to start up. At first I assumed it's just temporary because of the cold weather and I thought that since I JUST had the car inspected and they said everything looked good - that I didn't need to make any repairs. Anyways - today I tried turning on my car and my car was dead. I kept turning it on and off, and eventually it worked long enough for me to risk driving it to another Jiffy Lube closer to me. They reconfirmed that the issue was indeed because of the battery - and even without real inspection you can see the car battery was corroded and that the battery was last replaced in 2017. Any car repairman should have made note of this - but they did not. It wasn't until I called back Jiffy Lube Garden Grove today did they say - Oh ya, sometimes we forget to check the battery and we don't make reports on it. Being someone that doesn't know much about cars, all my trust is in the car repairmen/women to tell me if my car is safe to drive or not. Why is it not part of your checklist for the inspection if it is for another Jiffy Lube? But like I said, apparently it's obvious at first glance that this battery is clearly corroded but nothing was advised of me to replace it. I'm pretty forgiving and understanding of things, but if my safety lies in the hands of someone else who I paid to inspect the health of my car - I should expect them to advise me and to not "forget" to inspect something important. read more

The guy told me they close at 7 but to hurry and get there by 630. I got there at 630 sharp only to be told, "Oh uh by the way, it's cash only." Excellent service! I was quite anxious when I go anywhere to get anything serviced. As I pulled up, a representative came out and assisted me right away. I came for an oil change and there was no pressure or upselling. They did advise me that I had some filters that could be changed out (again totally optional), but I got it done anyway since they're very thorough. My anxiety just melted away from this. Also, I want to mention that the representative was so kind!! He let me take my time to look up discount coupons to use while I get my car serviced and found the best one to use. When you're paying for a service you expect the full service. I came for a high mileage oil change and did not receive the inspection or windshield cleaning that came with my service. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but later when I saw on my invoice that I had "declined" these services, I knew I had been scammed. Contacting customer service won't help, the DM told me he would follow up with me and never did. Check your invoice before you leave, especially since these services are not cheap. UPDATE: they used the wrong oil for my vehicle. My vehicle always gets 5W-20 and they put 10W-30. Make sure you check your invoice, even if they are rushing you. read more

I told him conventional. He asked me to open my hood and said it took synthetic. I told him I use conventional. I said if you don't wanna do it I can go somewhere else. I came here because it was the nearest Lyft vehicle inspection location. This review is based solely on my experience in getting the required annual inspection for my Lyft vehicle. Came by just before 11 am on a Friday. They were able to inspect my car immediately. They prompted me to drive my car into one of the repair bays. They completed the inspection and found one of my brake lights was out. I already knew this so I asked them to replace. The cost of the inspection and bulb replacement was very fair. The people who helped me we really nice though. I was a bit concerned because I asked if they recommended me getting my oil changed and the person who helped me in that moment said he said he wasn't sure because they go by miles driven, which I was approaching, but my oil health seemed ok. Avoid this place at all cost! I've used them a few times when I don't have time to change my girlfriends oil myself. They are way over priced and always try to up sell the customer. Today after the typical up sell attempt, they came back and said that they topped off the coolant. Ok, I always check fluids and they're never low, but whatever. When I asked the worker if he was sure, he replied with , "yes it's because in the summer it's hotter and coolant evaporates ." I replied with that's impossible, it's a closed system unless there's a leak (which I know for a fact that there isn't one. ) Anyways I left and it wasn't till I got home that I realized that they charged me an extra $2 to "top off the coolant that was low" . I specifically told them I'm just here for an oil change , nothing else. I've been irritated every single time I've left this place. The up sale, and the ridiculous price. Warning!! Do not go here for an oil change!! This oil change station left my oil drain plug loose so that oil was puddling under my car. I lifted my car up with a jack and jack stand to see what was leaking. I found out instantly that the drain plug was loose from the oil change I just got from this place. It seems because I had a disagreement with them about what oil I wanted in my car in which case I presume caused them to act out in revenge. What oil place can't even do it's most fundamental function. No way I'm returning to any Jiffy Lube ever again. I lost a good portion of oil and have all the pictures with time stamps and the day the oil change was performed. I will be filing a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more

I have an 05 Infiniti that's been suffering with a valve tick for a while now, and the car takes 5W30. Came in on a Sunday, they don't have that oil grade, but they said 10W30 would be fine. Couple days later, the valve tick became more of a hammer. It was so loud. Now it also has white smoke coming out of the exhaust. The car is now gonna be junk. read more

I usually always come here for an oil change! The staff are very friendly and efficient. There's barely ever a wait when I go, but even when there is a wait, they finish the job pretty quick. I came by yesterday for an oil change, and it was done in about 5 minutes. I wasn't able to get his name, but the young man that rang me up was able to answer all my questions, and break everything down for me. My car is quite old and needs a lot of maintenance, so I was very pleased that he was able to educate me. Decided to spontaneously get my oil changed, since it was about time to get one...and when I called and asked about the wait, they said it was first come first serve. I asked how much the oil change was, and instead of giving me just the prices, he spews off the prices as well as a list of things that they also do when we come in for a service. I parked and walked in, and Oscar told me to bring the car into the bay. Um...okay. He asked me to stop in front of the bay and took down some info. I waited in the store while they finished everything, and it was relatively quick. Windows didn't really seem washed tbh, since there were still rain spots on a couple of them (or maybe they washed but didn't wipe completely dry lol).
