Called to make an appointment for an oil change and when I got there, I was greeted by the friendliest guys, Brandon and Huy (there was another person but I didn't get their name). Brandon was nice even though I had to reschedule this appointment 3 times.. The day I came in, they instantly took my car in and told me the process. They checked to see if my car would take at least 4 qts of oil, anything more would be charged. I like that they're upfront about extra charges. They inspected my brakes and gave me a filter change for an extra $15- Which honestly isn't too bad compared to other locations in the area. Came in for a brake & rotor service and noticed that it was still squeaking after I left. I was told that I had to wash them with brake cleaner and the noise would be gone.... It never did When I asked them about it, they offered no other solution for the issue. Also, I was offered a free oil change that I could use WHENEVER when I got the brake & rotor service so I came in less than a month later to get it done for my wife's car. Not sure if he's the owner or just another mechanic but he begins to give me an attitude acting like I was trying to get a free service... First off, how would I know that they even offered free oil changes here to customers (he told me they do offer it during this conversation) & why would I come here of all places to try and finesse an oil change... He says I need to bring a copy of my old invoice so he can look it up in their system. There was ZERO mention of this when I was first told about the free service or when I called in to make the appointment. I go back home and luckily find the invoice and called the shop to ask if they can confirm the service change with the invoice # so I don't need to make another trip there. The mechanic proceeds to cuss me out and accuse me of trying to get a free service saying I could've made up a invoice that had a service # that matched up with another number in their system so I could get a free oil change... (you can't make this shiit up lol some looney tunes type reasoning) If you did not want to honor the service you could've said so instead of wasting both our time... or better yet... Don't offer the service to the customers in the first place. No one asked for a free service, YOU GUYS offered it. And when someone goes to redeem the service, you give them a whole runaround making them waste hours out of their morning just because you have a dead shop with nothing else to do. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. I went in for a brake replacement, and Joe told me that my rotors were damaged and needed to be replaced as well. He claimed he could not replace the brakes without replacing the rotors. The estimate was significantly higher because of this recommendation. Wanting a second opinion, I left and took my vehicle to another reputable auto shop. After inspecting the car, the owner told me my rotors were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. He explained that a brake job could be completed without any rotor replacement. This left me feeling like I was being pressured into paying for unnecessary work. To make matters worse, Joe made a condescending comment under his breath, saying, "Common sense escapes a lot of people." That level of disrespect toward a potential customer was completely unprofessional. If you're considering this shop, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs. I didn't realize at first that it's tucked behind the gas station on the corner of Magnolia and Bolsa -- it's on the backside, so just a heads up. The process was really quick and easy. I called first to make an appointment, dropped my car off early, filled out the paperwork, and came back later. I had a Groupon for an oil change and brake check, and for full synthetic it was only an extra $10.10 -- such a steal (thank you, Groupon). There were two guys working, and Brandon helped me. He signed me in, had me review and sign the quote, and walked me through everything. I bought a Groupon voucher for an oil change. I first went without an appointment and was told the wait would be about 2 hours or more, which I understood because I didn't have an appointment, so I made an appointment for the next day--yet I still faced the same long wait. In the end, after a long wait, I left without my car being serviced because I was told it would be about another additional hour, with no certainty. I don't understand the purpose of offering appointments if customers still have to wait 2+ hours. I also don't understand why Groupon oil change vouchers are offered if there isn't enough capacity to honor them. Customers plan their day around appointments and have limited time and other commitments. If there isn't real availability, that should be communicated upfront and not offer it to begin with. read more

I've made the reservation twice and still ended up not getting a simple oil change. The first time I made an appointment ahead of time I went to the location and they told me the booking was not confirmed which I made a reservation a week ahead. I decided to make another reservation at the time for two days later when I went in the second time they told me again the reservation was not confirmed so I waited over an hour for the mechanic to be free to do the maintenance on my car then he proceeds to say there's no appropriate filter for my car. My car is not anything special. It is a Kia. They also show my car the first time so they could've easily order the filter ahead of time and this wouldn't have been a problem. I always get my break pads replaced for $50 each but I came here after finding the shop off Groupon for a rear break pad replacement because I thought it was a great deal so why not check it out. I made an appointment. Thank goodness I didn't purchase the Groupon yet because I ended up not getting anything done here. They don't tell you that they're going to do a full car inspection, take everything apart, then quote you for everything they think needs to be done with your car and will not replace the only thing you wanted to get done unless you do it all. There were signs, I had a feeling they were gonna do this but I gave em the benefit of the doubt. They quoted me $400 when I only planned to do the $70 Groupon deal. They're nice and not pushy but I was not going to do all that so I left and they wasted not only their time but an hour + a drive out of my time. I knew the Groupon deal was too good to believe because that's so cheap obviously they don't make anything off that so that's why they have their routine. They think they know how to get you. Had a few things Alex brought up to my attention that should get taken care of so I appreciate the share. Alex is so nice and very kind. He doesn't haggle you to get this or that done. BAD BUSINESS RIP OFF This is the absolute worst mechanic shop that you can go to. It is a father and son that works there and the owner lives in LA when I got there for my appointment. They were not ready to put my car up on the lift to start the work I had to wait two hours for them to put my car on the lyft while I was waiting. The older gentleman was standing there flirting with a customer telling her that that how about you buy me dinner and I do your brakes for free what kind of BS is that then they get my car on there and I tell them that it's grinding really bad and they just start taking my wheels off and breaks off they then tell me that I am going to need new rotors and tell me it's going to cost $400 which I did not plan on spending that day. I asked him if he could just put my old brakes back on and I will go somewhere else and get a refund on my Groupon but he told me I couldn't do that so I got stuck paying $475 for brakes and new rotors. I left the shop really upset and feeling like I got ripped off because by law he's not allowed to do this. I then go home in two days later my brakes start grinding again, so I called them to set up a time to come back because they say they have lifetime warranty on brakes. But what they don't tell you is, they buy the cheapest brakes of all and try to make more money off of it. I took my car to the shop was supposed to meet them there at 10 AM sat and waited for an hour and a half and no one showed up at the shop didn't get a call. Nothing waste of my time then I get a hold of the owner and the owner says we'll fix it. We'll fix it. I bring my car back into the shop. The owner said he was gonna be there, but he was not. It was the same too dummies in the shop along with a pregnant woman that's like eight months along. I was really upset at this point the older gentleman I didn't even wanna talk to him because I felt like he was just trying to rip me off they said they replaced the brakes and rotors again and they blamed me for why they're scraping saying that I was having excessive breaking, which is not true at all. I leave the shop and guess what my brakes start grinding again, but do I dare to go back to this dumb ass no! I ended up having to 400 more dollars to fix the problem that they caused when not properly installing my brakes they did not grease the brakes. They did not grease the caliber bolt which is standard when you do brakes and rotors! On top of all that after the last time I went there, I talked to the owner and told him everything from the very beginning what had transpired and he said he was gonna take care of it. DO NOT go here for anything. Changed break pads at this place, it was starting very shady from beginning and this visit led to serious car problems. Mechanic John did NOT plug in cord on rear right wheel correctly and within couple of month after break change errors on dash board started to pop up and eventually locked that wheel, so we had to tow it. That cord caused shortage and burned down the ABS unit which coast to replace $1000+ (thats what you get for trying to save on break change huh?) The funniest part...our yearly state park pass disappeared from the car the day of break change lol If owner of this place cares about his business...it's time to look into your employees. read more
