Quick service, friendly staff, clear communication Was in a time crunch and this jiffy lube helped me remarkably quick! I had someone intake my car and an engineer ensure my car issue was resolved. It was stressful, I was looking for help the entire morning and these guys helped me resolve it in about 20 mins, I overheard other conversations as well and swiftness is clearly their forte They current do not do safety & emissions here! I was already in the area for an appointment and decided to knock another to-do off my list by getting an oil change. My coolant light blinked on the way there, so I figured I'd need that taken care of too. I came in on the Friday of a holiday weekend, so, naturally, they were busy. The guy who rang me out was helpful and found a coupon for $15.60 off for my $300+ service (coolant flush plus oil change- and my car uses the higher grade of oil so it's always a little more). My A/C is actually working much better than it was after I took it to a place a few weeks ago who couldn't find the issue. I was in and out in about an hour or so. Stay away from this Jiffy Lube! They significantly overfilled my car when doing a routine oil change. This caused lots of damage to our engine. I am not a car expert, so when it started having issues, I drove straight to closest repair shop, which apparently also voided my Jiffy Lube warranty! I had no way of knowing it was directly related to Jiffy Lube's poor work, which I explained to management. The mechanic even documented the overfill for me, but still no help or reimbursement from Jiffy Lube. Their management even suggested the photos could have been "staged!" Went for oil change, was seen immediately, filled up my wiper fluid and fixed tire pressure too free of charge and were very polite.

I needed a last minute oil change and I was so happy they were open on Sunday. I was greeted and taken care of by Ever, who was very polite and sweet, and walked me through the process even though I haven't been there before, even walking me to my car after to make sure I was pleased and safe. They connected with us with repairs needed, parts, labor, time of repair, etc. Returned to pickup the Same Day after completion of repairs and WOW! Really, great work!! Thanks to Ever G., Perry W. & Thomas H.!! On 10/23/21-my 2011 Ram 1500 started acting funny, missing thought it would stall. Went back to Jiffy Lube to see if the staff could help us out. I got my transmission service done here(which is expensive) and few weeks later my transmission service popped up again so I went back to let them know. Instead of reimbursing me or OFFERING to look/fix my problem, they spoke to each other in Spanish (which I understand and speak as well) then chose to try to persuade me to check another shop nearby that works with transmission and they said they don't do transmission service even though they're just contradicting themselves at this point(they did my transmission service few weeks prior). I didn't bother to waste any more time going back and forth. This is one incident. Another incident I went FOR ONLY oil change but they chose to do my air filter, window wiper fluids, brake fluids, and couple other things WITHOUT my consent which turned out to be over $250... although I told them I came in for a basic oil change. Beware: these guys are your typical scammers right under your nose. I trust jiffylube but it's very unfortunate this management/crew are right here in Herndon scamming anyone who "looks" like money(they mentioned that when they spoke Spanish to each other) they need some kind of review or penalty read more

Stay away from this Franchise. These guys didn't advertise that they don't use Pennzoil full synthetic brand for oil change unlike every Jiffy Lube that I have known in Virginia and California, and filled up my tank with a little known "Mile Guard" that's hard to Google and buy online. Charged $100 and offered ridiculous excuse that every franchise are allowed to make their own choices. People come to the store because they ought to be Jiffy Lube offering similar services and products with some variation of pricing. The manager argued that I was trying to get a free oil change since I argued that I didn't need the oil. I plan to change the oil paying another $100 to my regular Jiffy Lube site. read more

I was in a pinch and needed an oil change super quickly, this was the place to go! The staff was SO friendly -- I was actually taken aback! You can tell they care about the business they're doing, and who they are doing it for. One of the employees even checked in on me while I was waiting for my car to be finished. They made great recommendations for other services I needed, and showed me why things needed to be replaced rather than just telling me and taking the money like other places have in the past. Came here to get my windshield wipers changed as it was close by and half of my wipers broke off last week in the snow! The service was done quickly and felt reasonably priced! The only issue I had was the wait, which seemed a little lengthy. They warned me when I called ahead that it was first come, first serve, but they had a lot of bigger projects ahead of me. Saturday may 8th I took my 2021 Chevy Malibu with 10 thousand miles.. Usually as i pull up I ask only and strictly oil and filter.. Since it's a brand new car I never thought I would get offers to change my filters that specs on car say 45 k in one and 22.5 k miles on the other.. Young man came to waiting area with my "old dirty filthy filters " in his hands and took me to Bay Area to offer replacements for 75 extra dollars.. I knew it was just a trick they pull on everyone! I refused and asked them to put them back and I wanted to see them put them back in place... That pissed them off and as they were secretly talking among them selves, one gentlemen insinuated that manuals an sensors in cars did not mean anything ... wow! As I saw the tech not being able to restore my filter properly he was leaving the whole fuel filter casing unstrapped and i asked them to strap it properly ... He said it was like that!! Really???? It's a brand new car so #Chevrolet sucks then!! At this point Tino the manager came with an attitude and basically kicked me out and banned me from ever coming again!! All who read this and go to Jiffy Lube know exactly what I am talking about... I understand selling stuff needed.. please be carful not to get suckerEd in to buying stuff you don't need.. We have been coming to this jiffy lube since moving to Herndon... however this last time we went they were missing their standard customer service. They wanted to change my light bulb for $400. One light bulb. I had to out. I denied that service. However I got an oil change that should come with topping off all my fluids. Guess who just had to stop by the gas station 3 days later because my coolant was nearly empty? No one answered the phone so here's your review. read more

DONT GO TO THESE GUYS. Completely took advantage of my wife while she was getting the oil changed in our car. She didn't want anything else, only the oil change but they went ahead and took the cabin air filter out and compared it to a new one and told her that "for the life of the engine" she needs to change it. With our two kids running around she didn't have time to really think about it or ask the price so she agreed and they ended up charging her $53 for it! A cabin air filter costs $10 and takes literally two seconds to change. It cost more than the oil change itself! When they brought her the over $100 bill what was she supposed to do with two kids running around and no help? Totally took advantage of a stressed mom just trying to get an oil change. These guys are the worst kind of up-charging mechanics who only think about how much money they can squeeze out of a person rather than actually helping them with what they need. DONT GO TO THESE GUYS. At the very least go to a different Jiffy Lube, but don't give these guys your business. read more

Came here the other day to get my daughters oil changed. I have been coming to this jiffy lube for years and love the services they give. They have outstanding employees and always so friendly, but the day I went I heard something concerning. I heard the employees discussing that a worker came back positive for COVID-19. I was not sure what to do about the situation, but I passed by today and saw the shop is still open. I'm not sure if the management is taking the proper precautions. I know they are not required to close down for being essential, but are REQUIRED to do a deep cleaning. I'm not sure if they did this but I hope they can give us the Customers a clear of mind ,if the shops is safe to come in. I was debating on writing this post but I am concerned for the customers health. We must work together to get through these hard times. God bless! read more

I came in for an oil change. The staff was very friendly and kind. I spoke with Tino the most, who was very helpful and informative. The process has changed slightly due to social distancing so I was given the option to remain in my car. Since I was in my car I was given instructions throughout the process. Every step was explained thoroughly and in a very professional manner. Normally I don't get anything replaced in shop because it's cheaper to purchase the products and do it yourself. But everyone was so professional, kind, quick and efficient that I chose to have it done there. I will definitely be coming here for all my future car needs. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE!!!!! They are con artists. They performed an oil change without even asking me what type of oil I wanted. Even though their system shows that I only received semi-synthetic blends in the past from other JIFFY LUBE stations across Virginia, they insisted on giving me regular oil without asking me. According to them, they do not carry synthetic blend and the manager said that he does not have to tell customers that and if they don't like it then they can call the police. The manager then challenged to to a fight. The police were eventually called to settle the dispute. I was told by the officers that they are called to that JIFFY Lube on a regular basis. I offered to compromise and pay for the service at a lower price, and the manager declined all attempts. I ended up paying only because I had to get back to work. This Jiffy Lube has always been on point in providing excellent customer service with a smile. The small waiting area in this Jiffy Lube location needs a makeover. It is hard to sit comfortably with other people who may have pets, kids and the floor is slippery. Prior to my last lube visit, a customer informed me an older gentleman just slipped and fell. I would recommend an expansion of the waiting space since the property is located on a larger lot. Since Herndon is growing in population and the new Silver Line will be opening, it would be wise to be proactive and expand now. My coworker brought up how much this Jiffy Lube sucks, and I realized I'd never reviewed it. Brought my car here a couple years back - they told me I needed a transmission flush and new fluid. Figured I'd be proactive and just get it over with. There are signs EVERYWHERE saying that they only suggest things that the owner's manual recommends. Well, my owners manual said that flushing transmission fluid voids the warranty, and you should never put non-Honda transmission fluid in it, and they did both. I called to ask why the hell they did that, and it seemed pretty clear to me that they just suggest unneeded repairs, dude didn't give a fuck that he voided my warranty. IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS STOLEN, GO HERE! One of the employees STOLE my diamond ring from the glove compartment after an oil change! No one else has access to my car and this is the last place I had my car serviced at. It is so blatant because they only took the ring and left the box behind so that I didn't notice immediately. I am really devastated by this as the ring was very special and had a lot of sentimental value. Terrible. I went here for an oil change. The service person talked to me about a lot more things that they can do for my car like transmission fluid, etc, that I don't want to do at that time. So I said politely and plainly, I just want an oil change. He gave me a bad look and then I proceeded back to the waiting area. After my car was done, paid, and went home, I noticed just when I was about to walk back to the house that my antenna was broken. I did not see that they did it personally, so I give them a benefit of the doubt. But I heard it happened also to one of our friends when he declined to accept the suggested extra work. Mine is a basic Honda Civic, fortunately my antenna is not very expensive like a power antenna. Makes me wonder, do they get commission for doing as much work as they can? Worst experience at an oil change ever, avoid at all costs. My wife took our SUV to this place in 2018 for an oil change. The technicians told her that the air and cabin filters needed replace, and an exterior light. When she told them not to repair it, they did not put it on the check sheet/invoice they give customers to document the repair was needed. They also left a piece of the air filter housing on the dashboard and so my wife had to go back and have them reinstall it. Then that same day the check engine light came on. I had to take it to another mechanic to get it checked out. The mechanic told me that Jiffy Lube had disconnected the evap hose and that caused the check engine light to come on. How difficult is it to run an oil change place? I mean, it isn't rocket science? I contacted the manager and he just didn't care and wasn't helpful in the least. Again, avoid this place, find another oil change place or you may end up paying to get your check engine light checked and other parts repaired afterwards. read more

I came to this jiffy lube at a point of desperation. On my way home, my car started making a strange noise from the tires- metal against metal screeching. I yelped the closest Jiffy Lube, thinking there's no way they can help because they're not a full functioning mechanic shop. They wanted to help and they did. They fixed the metal friction on my front right tire and were so professional and kind about it. I offered to pay anything, and the manager working there declined.
