I visited 4513 Hwy6 N Houston, TX to have my annual vehicle inspection. The team was professional and courteous. There was one car ahead of us and with a very short wait time. The customer ahead of us stood just outside the waiting room door smoking a cigarette which left a strong cigarette smell inside. Ok. Although they done a good job, my oil change went from 27.99 with Groupon to 105.11. Groupon stated complete oil change yet jeffy lube says it 27.99 off your total. Well once we finish with " everything" needed, I was out 105 dollars. Not upset about it just think it needs to be notified that if you have a Groupon, this is what it intel. Again not upset, they vacuumed my truck, cleaned my widows, repaired a busted tail light. And still manger to get me out in under 2 hours. Yes I'd return ,every one was very professional and helpful. I went in to get the annual inspection on my Toyota. There was a bit of a wait, but nothing outrageous or off-putting. The crew was polite and attentive and got to me when they could. So far, so good. I'm then told that everything is fine, that the car is passing the inspection, although I might think about buying a new pair of windshield wipers. Sure. Why not. I spring for the blades. They were getting ready for replacement anyway. Once the blades were replaced, and they had a billable sale, I was then told that "there was a problem" with the.... and then you can insert some random Campbells Alphabet Soup Word Salad. I had no idea what was being said because, if based on reality and not just trying to get me out of the store now that I have agreed to buy wiper blades, it was an Industry Reference number. I do not know what was being said as the technician spewed forth random numbers and letters. With the explanation that it could be a problem with my car because, well, all the other vehicles were tested just fine. This was pretty much a 180 from the earlier, "everything looks great, the car passed the inspection" discussion 5 minutes earlier It was then suggested that I drive to a Jiffy Lube "Up The Road". And was even advised that "as a courtesy" a call would be made to the manager of the "up the road" Jiffy Lube to let them know I was coming. I didn't go. I paid for my wiper blades, which probably didn't need changing, but revenue must be obtained somehow. And at this point, I had serious doubts about the validity of the "Something may be wrong with your car" comment. I felt I was being passed on to the next manager where I would be sat down to be told that the air in the tires is old, the radio has bad reception, the bottled water is warm, and that I should consider a major oil change, along with all fluids, and anything else we can think of while we're working on your car. How's the back seat? Is it clean? Honestly, it felt like I was being dealt a hand in a game of 3 Card Monte. Rather than going to the Jiffy Lube "Up The Road", I drove to the Christian Brothers on 529 near Queenston. In and out in about 20 minutes. Passed inspection with no mention of "Something may be wrong with your car". So, will I change from "undecided about returning" to "returning customer for an oil change"? At this point, Jiffy Lube Corporate shouldn't hold their breath. The insult of "Hey, you're car's good" to "Um, we can't inspect your car...but it's okay, we're not going to charge you, but would you like to buy some windshield wipers" weighs heavily on my memory. read more

My visit today showed how honest, knowledgeable and caring the technicians are. I went in for an oil change for my 2009 Nissan and after inspecting the vehicle, the tech advised me that I had a major oil leak on both sides out of the exhaust. They topped off my oil without charge and advised me to see a mechanic . They also said that I could come back and they would top off the oil again until I was able to get estimates for the work and get it repaired. Ryan, Josh and all of the techs at this location are very friendly and helpful. I'm a customer for life! read more

Customer service was horrible the mechanic screamed at me when I pulled up because I pulled up to the wrong bae the 2nd mechanic rolled his eyes at me while I declined all other services. I only came for an oil change would not recommend unless you'd like to be treated poorly. Update: I was writing this review as I sat in the lobby, when I got home I noticed I did not receive a sticker stating what mileage to return for services and my oil life is still at 0% my car is reading change oil soon. No way to prove wether it was changed or not. Literally have no idea why I was treated so poorly never returning to jiffy lube again. read more

I was hesitant to come here because of the reviews, but these people are clearly just mad. I called ahead of time and asked if there was a wait, Jeff said there wasn't and to come in. When I parked I was greeted by Cornelius, he told me it would be a quick and easy oil change and showed me where the bathroom and the complimentary coffee were located. Upon checkout I just showed them my groupon and I was set. I will most likely come here again! read more

They lost a long time customer this week. I've been coming to this specific location precisely because I was always treated well. For the last 5-6 years I've brought all 3 of my vehicles here for fluid changes and inspections, after this week, I will not be returning. I came here to get my car inspected and today they inform me that my headlights are too glazed and fogged to pass inspection (they are certainly not) BUT, for $40 one of their techs can deglaze and clear coat my headlight covers. So they are trying to pull some sort of off the books up-sell, that is completely unnecessary to a state vehicle inspection. I drove to another inspection station and passed with no drama. Sorry folks, but you just lost a long time regular customer. read more

My girlfriend and I took our cars in to get an oil change today. The guy comes in and shows us the filters as they do and asks us if we want them changed. I said no as I change them out myself. They didn't put the parts for the inside filter compartment back together in either car. I guess if you don't want to buy it you can put it back together yourself, I'll be changing the oil myself next time too. read more

Horrible horrible experience! I bought the groupon deal which I paid $25 for than I get there and they tack on all these extra charges. So I walked out paying another $40! Than they broke the cover that goes over my engine and they said they would replace it. At least 20 calls to them 5 to corporate, 3 months later they finally replaced it!! read more

Unfortunately, my brake light was out...suddenly. Ok, I'm not up for probable cause or a ticket or seeing the judge in 1o days to show it got fixed. I wasn't near my residence and the risk of getting pulled over doesn't appeal to me :) I rolled in to Jiffy Lube on 4513 Hwy 6. There were some unusual problems that arose when trying to do a simple bulb replacement because of the construction of my vehicle.
