I had written a review detailing the unprofessional service I recieved in correlation to several thousands of dollars in damages caused by the service I was given. No returned calls or emails. I did research and found Jiffy lube commonly denies claims despite video footage of wrong doing and an admittance by staff members. When you write a review they are "saddened" and request you email them so they can discuss the matter however they do not ever reach out. They string you along and refuse to pay for their mistakes. Its unsafe to bring your vehicle to any Jiffy lube as former employees have went on to tell the public of improper training, techniques, and upselling of services and parts. This is not my first encounter sadly with this company but will never return for fear my vehicle will be damaged beyond repair again. read more

Have been to this store many times with same vehicle, this time they tell me that my information is not in system and ask me to provide it again (should not have to do this). Then they ask me what oil I would like , I tell them it should be in the system given the number of visits I have made. They pulled my car out and told me to go somewhere else. I will. They will wreak your car and there's no warranty to cover any damages their mechanics cause. I will never go to a Jiffy Lube again. My oil pan screw was stripped by a different jiffy lube without my knowledge . I brought my car here for an oil change and they proceeded to try to open the pan for an hour without any success. Come to find out they indented the pan trying to get the screw out to the point where the whole pan has to be replaced. I have pictures attached. The damage is going to cost me over 500 dollars for a new oil pan. To make matters worse, they absolutely refuse to take responsibility and the district manager denied my claim for reimbursement for the damage "because all Jiffy Lubes are owners by different districts." Beware, if they damage your car here, you're not covered. Better off going to professionals at a dealership. read more

I got my oil changed at the Janesville location. They overfilled my oil by a lot. I took the car to a different Jiffy Lube and was told that they did indeed overfill it. As a result of the overfill my oil pump was destroyed. Jiffy lube os refusing to take responsibility for it and now I need to pay to fix their wrong. Jiffy Lube was extremely secretive about giving me any contact info for anyone who might be in charge of their warranty program and also refused to ensure that the security camera footage of them overfilling my oil is not deleted. Overall, very poor communication and refusal to take responsibility for their wrong. read more

Had a wonderful service yesterday at the Janesville Jiffy Lube. I pulled up with 2 cars in front of me, I was greeted within seconds asking what I was needing today. I asked what they recommended for oil and he went in depth what they had and what benefits each one was to my vehicle. Very informative. He even told me my approximate waiting time which was pretty much dead-on by the time my service was up. I will definitely be going back to the location. I took my truck there for an oil change. One of the workers was very rude. They changed the oil and filter. They did nothing else. Yesterday I decided I would change my own oil. When I tried to remove the oil drain plug, using a 6 point socket, it was so tight I rounded off the corners on the plug. I had to use my air chisel to get the plug loose. The oil filter was also over tightened. I will not be going back to Jiffy Lube ever agian. It is really sad because the place has gone down hill over the years. read more

Usually in and out pretty quick..took my girlfriend as she wasn't sure where to take her vehicle. Today - told to take a seat -someone will be with us soon. We left after waiting for that someone 20 minutes. Recommend find a location that uses more than one bay to service customers. I won't be back-lost at least two customers with this terrible customer service. Fun fact: Next day the marque listed in & out in 10 min or $10 off. Good luck with that. Visits there are always quick, predictable, and usually personable. My only glitch today involved the tire pressure. I was going to reiterate that it should be 32psi, but I neglected to do that. I ended-up with 35psi all around, which didn't surprise me. Regardless of wherever I entrust my car to, no place ever gets it right. Ever. So other than that oversight, I was pleased enough, despite the wait. At least the manager comes outside to chat a bit while in line, which is good for PR. read more

My wife got a quote The quote was for$189 she was charged $330 in the end and was told is was because her jeep took a Synthetic fluid. After I called them and a jeep dealership I found out that not only did they perform a service that wasn't on the quote but they also charged $90 more than the dealership. Two days later I notice a puddle in my garage and looked under the jeep to see that the drain plug for the rear differential was gone. I called them and just told them about the puddle and he said that its seems pretty strange that it took two days to start leaking. Now eithermI'm suppost to look under my jeep every few hours after having it serviced at jiffy lube or he's suggesting that I tampered with my own vehicle just to spend more time with those great upscale employees at jiffy lube. When I took the jeep in told them there was a leak. When they were done he told me it was just a bad seal on the drain plug (the nonexistent drain plug ) and that he was just went ahead and gave me a hole new plug for free. First visit was Feb 2015 with a 2002 Honda Accord. Needed an oil change and a fluid flush. Figured even a Jiffy Lube couldn't screw this up. They flushed my fluids but did not tightly close caps. All of my antifreeze evaporated and my engine overheated. Second visit was Oct 2015 with a 2009 Toyota Highlander. Changed oil but didn't deactivate Maintenance Required light. Third visit and last visit was today. Staff are expertly trained...in sales. Will act rude and condescending if you don't pay for unnecessary "upgrades." When it comes to under the hood, not so much. After I drove my car off their lot, I noticed a rattling sound from the fan. Took it right back. Guy said he had no problems putting my filters back in (they took them out to guilt me into buying new ones, of course). He had no clue how this happened, and less interest in how I felt about it. Save your mental anguish, and perhaps even your car, folks. Go to a mom and pop place. UPDATE: this morning (the following day), after discarding a dirty paper towel the mechanic left on my floor, I took my vehicle to a competitor, where I learned that the Jiffy Lube team did NOT clean out leaves in my filter, as they said they had. Competitor mechanic believes the fan rattling sound is coming from some leaves the JL team did not bother cleaning. Further, the JL team BROKE the soft close mechanism of my glove box, and the tab off of the filter door. To fix the problems caused by Jiffy Lube, I'm out an additional $25+. Countless times I have been told I need major engine work, and after getting a second opinion it turned out to not be true. The most recent time I was told I would need new head gaskets, after taking my vehicle to another mechanic I was told it was just the thermostat, which was less than $100 fix compared to over $1000 work they recommended. read more

It's okay to come here for a car but not with a truck. The lift is broke more times than its operationing. Once I came here and they only wanted to change one wiper blade because they would have to call in for fleet approval to change both. We took our vehicle in for an oil change and tail light replacement. The technicians had trouble changing the tail light but didn't mention any problems. We later noticed when trying to open our back hatch for the first time since their service that the hatch handle was crooked and it was very difficult to open the hatch. It had been working fine before their service. A couple of days later the back hatch wouldn't open at all. We went back to Jiffy Lube where a technician also was unable to open the hatch and said they couldn't fix it. They told us to get an estimate and they would pay for the repair. When taking the estimate back, we were told it would have to be sent to the regional manager. A few weeks later after not hearing from anyone, we called and were told there was nothing they could do for us. We are now left with a vehicle in which we can't open the back hatch and $400 in repairs if we want to pay to fix it ourselves. Incompetent technicians and extremely poor customer service from Jiffy Lube. We obviously would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Decent price for standard oil change but the SLOB mechanic left BIG oily black handprints all over my white doorframe and under the window and all over my steering wheel, also a black oil spot on my cloth armrest! Seems they never heard of wearing gloves or having any pride in cleanliness over there... Spilled oil on my black plastic bumper too, not going to be easy to remove. I pointed out the greasy paw prints to the nice countergirl and she asked the dirtball mechanic (did I mention his slovenly appearance?) to clean it for me. The lackadaisical oaf just took a dry rag and rubbed the stains further into my paint! I stopped that foolishness and asked another mechanic if they had any cleaning solution. He wandered over and proceeded to a lack-luster rub on a couple areas before I interrupted in frustration and asked to do it myself. After MUCH rubbing, I managed to clean the surfaces somewhat but the black grease was so rubbed in by the 1st Sad-Sack that there is now PERMANENT staining on my van... thanks a lot greasemonkeys... Ive been going to Jiffy Lube for years and my only complaint has been that they are pushy about upselling products and services. They have always offered a discount on my oil changes because they know I only come to them based on the records. Today they would not give me a discount because they said I had to have a coupon in hand, and I've NEVER had to produce a coupon. Their service is not worth $52.
