In December 2025..i had my oil changed. Late morning, weekday.. They guys were fast once they saw me at the counter. Two under the hood..one in the pit. Another took my info and payment. I would have been ok with the service until my oil light came on 2 months later. To find out there was barely any oil in my 2016 Sierra pick-up. In February (today!!)..i added 6 quarts of oil and what little oil in it was filthy. No sticker was put inside the windshield for next service nor did they reset the oil change light for me. I was happy on my first visit there, guys very polite and didn't push for any extra services. You know Jen's a woman goes to a car repair shop and suddenly everything is wrong, hit when my husband goes-everything is good. Unfortunately the next time I went there, I was confused and disappointed. They also didn't take my coupon that I received that day in my email for $25 off even I mentioned about a coupon Before I signed to for oil change. They also tried to push really hard for oil filter ( hello, other places change it with the oil!), and other crap. I believe it's because I have an accent and they thought I am dumber or something. Took my European vehicle in. Was charged premium rate as needed special oil. I paid more than I would at the dealership. They did not reset the oil light. Being they specialize in oil changes, they could take the two minutes to get it done. Told me oil life is good for 10K miles, sticker reads to get changed again in 5K. No longer will use their services as I get so much more for less money at the dealership. read more

Had been going there for quite some period of time no problems courteous crew. Today I went there and observed the top side guy reving my engine just after the oil had been changed. It lasted a minute or so and I would estimate it a thousand to 1500 RPMs. this is completely unnecessary and potentially harmful to an engine whose oil galleries We're being refilled. I asked the guy about it and he gave me some BS about having to reset the light referring to the (check engine light) which had nothing to do with my oil light going back to the off position. I think the employee when confronted new that he had made a mistake. The shocking thing about this is that supervision and coworkers would allow this to happen not noticing not being concerned about a customer's unpressurized engine bearings. most people coming in for an oil change wouldn't know that this is potentially destructive. The only reason I could think they might do such a thing is to get the oil light off a little bit sooner to make their total time on job less. I filled out Grease Monkeys form online. I'll see what they say next week. I can think of no earthly reason to be revving someone's motor in an oil change shop. read more

I drove up to get an oil change and there were three workers standing outside with another car chatting with the driver, they kept looking at me once in a while, but never came up to my car... After 10 minutes I got out of my vehicle to tell them I needed to have an oil change and the guy says, "We only have three people will get to it when we can." I waited 5 more minutes as they just chatted with a guy by his car, so I left. read more

Hasn't disappointed me yet. The prices unbeatable, the service complete with no problems afterwards and the customer service eh depends. The guys over 35 nice, friendly and informative. The younger ones, a little sarcastic and ornery. I get oil changes where the caps are put back on! :D Hey, one 'reputable' place screwed that up 2x's. My last drive-in was for the cheapest Transmission Flush in town using a top of the line flush machine, making it quick, easy and fast. Plus, I had a coupon. I also had a headlight restoration that saved me a ton of money! I almost had to buy new headlights because I'd tried everything from sandpaper to shaving cream to clean them. Sitting here waiting for my oil change and a blonde pulls up and walks in the building. She walks out and parks in the closed lane and a guy comes in and pulls her car in. Work stops on everyone else's vehicle. Windows are getting washed and everything. I hope a district manager sees this. I'll never go back. read more

Brought the wife's car here. Not very impressed. They broke the hood latch somehow. Took 3 techs and a bunch of tools to fix the thing.

I cannot remember the name of the man that did my oil change but he was very informative. I dont know anything about cars and my car has a few problems but after my oil was changed he happily did a scan on my car and went over all the codes that had came up. He really made sure I knew what each code meant and how to possibly fix it. they were all pretty easy fixes. He also explained that for a 2000 year car, a small oil leak isn't uncommon but I could come back within the three months (before my next oil change) and get it topped off if needed. I am very happy with this service and will be going there again! read more

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Unless you wanna deal with disrespect and excuses for their poor work. I went in on Monday to get an oil change on my 03 TDI. Mind you I was a mechanic in a REAL shop for two years. Never again will someone else touch my car. They stripped the threads on my oil plug didn't say anything to me about it till it was all done. Shady as all get out. So they put a butterfly plug in and said I'd have to replace my oil pan when I get my next oil change. I said okay as long as it don't leak. They waited and checked, didn't leak. Now on Friday night of the same week 9pm I noticed a spot of oil the size of a cookie sheet under my car so I looked and sure enough the damn plug was leaking. So I call Saturday morning ask if they'll reemburse me for the quart of oil, my car is now down, because I'm on the south side of town. Their response we'll discuss it when you get here, I wasn't gonna buy a quart if I wasn't gonna get reembursed. Especially when its their mistake. So I risk my engine to get up to the milton ave location. The same place I got my oil change 5 days earlier they pull it in and search underneath my car. Searching for any way for it not to be the plug leaking. Before this my car never leaked a drop of oil. So they wipe the pan off repetitively and then invite me down to the under bay to show me it ain't leaking, but yet when I wiped the pan with my fingers. Low and behold OIL! I asked if they would change out the defective plug they said no, we told you that you would need a new oil pan. Just 5 days after a $90 oil change and already lost a quart. Then grease monkey employees decided they were done and go to pull my car out and I asked one if they put in a quart of oil that my car was low he said and I quote "Don't worry about it sir" very rudely. Really? So are you paying for a new engine if it blows? I called and got both district managers numbers. Voice mail box's full. Place is a joke. Sad only one guy there knows how to drive a five speed. Atleast they got the name right. Just monkeys with wrenches. read more

I went to Grease Monkey yesterday for an oil change. I stood at the cashier counter for 15 mins and then sat for another 15 mins and NO ONE, even tho there were 3 employees there, came over to ask me if they could help me. I was there for a half an hour and never talked to a soul. I can understand that you are busy but if in a half an hour, no one can even talk to me for 30 seconds, I'll go somewhere else like my neighbor, Jim's Citgo in Milton. Taking my car there tomorrow and my husband's car, too. Never ever again will I visit Grease Monkey. They were very unprofessional in their talk to each other, too. read more

I got there plenty of time before closing, but they had 3 cars, I waited because I just drove 8k miles and really needed a change, well they did the oil change and absolutely nothing else! Never asked me, i doubt checked the air filter, which always seems to have to be changed at 3k miles, but not after 8k and the cabin filter needed to be changed and he never brought it up. Just because you want to get home on a Saturday doesn't mean start slacking, now I will find a different place to go read more
