I always come to Jiffy Lube, but today, my experience with BLAKE has changed my mind. He was rude and belligerent from the start. When I told him that I'd go somewhere else to spend my money, he said, "Go ahead! Won't hurt my feelings any!" I told him, "I'm sure your boss would mind!" My experience here is only for an oil change and inspection. So far, so good. No time was wasted and we were in and out in a jiffy. Hah, see what I did thar? Of course, they will try to upsell you on certain things needed for your car, but they weren't pushy about it. The general manager, Craig, was nice and offered us coupons for our next visit. Won't hesitate to come here again. NOTES Extremely loud, strange bird noises emit from the bagged ice station nearby. If you close your eyes, it sounds as if you're in the Amazon rainforest. NEVER AGAIN!! I went here today to get a simple air check because my tire light was on. I pulled up and was told "oh you don't even come to us as a customer" when the guy saw that I had Pep Boys do my last oil change. (The sticker on my winI actually have gone to this location for oil BUT I don't live close to them. He turned me away and said they were too busy. I have never had this happen at ANY place I've gone to. IT WOULDVE TAKEN two seconds bc I know which tire it is. It was rude and I'll never be a patron of theirs again. I actually have done business with them for my car a few times. The sad thing is that I was on the way to graduation in Austin, didn't want to get on the road with low air and went allll the way down Stan Schlueter to get this done...couldn't get it done so I had to go all the way back to my usual place. Take 5 across from HEB on Trimmier is ALWAYS nice about this and the even sadder thing is I ALWAYS tip the people that help me put air in my tires. I'm a single mom so this is something I know I won't be doing myself. I will never go to Jiffy Lube for anything again. Thank you Luis. My 2015 Lincoln MKC was brought in for a signature service and during the service one of my debris deflector's was taken down to access the bottom of the engine to do the service and the deflector we just left hanging with the bolts that were taken out to move it were only halfway put back up into the original holes they came out of and my vehicle has been driven all week with the deflector dragging the pavement, now the deflector need to be replaced and this JiffyLube on 3801 W. Stan Schlueter loop doesn't seem to want to answer their phones. It's over an hour before closing so I know the shop is open. I'm going to keep trying to call them to see what is going to be done. W/O # 7617. Says the team lead is Adam W. And the lower bay services were performed by David M. I spent a total of $111.53 just to have to turn around and go to the Lincoln dealer and purchase a new deflector. As I stated I am going to keep trying to call them but I would hope someone at JiffyLube will pull my work order number and get a hold of me ASAP because this is not professional at all. read more

I would not give any stars! I took my car there for the first time and I got charged way more than the price they told me when I pulled up and asked how much an oil change and tire rotations were. The second time i had my car serviced there I had a coupon for 25% of for any service costing $99.99 or more. I thought I had a good deal considering they have an extra 15% off because they had us wait an extra hour long because one employee locked the key in of the the cars they were working on. So all the employes ended up trying to get the key out. I looked over my receipt and calculated the fees to include my coupon and 15% off. They took my coupon but didn't apply the discount to the total. I ended up paying $50 more than I should. I called back to get a refund and they told me I couldn't get a refund back but instead they'll give me credit. Of course I wanted my money back so I ended up taking my car back there for service. I got my car last serviced there in Late August. They did the diagnostic and told me I needed all these services done for my car when all those services I did during the last car service. It was a good thing I kept my receipt with all the services done on the car cuz they made it seem like I was lying and made me feel like my car was going to die out if I didn't get those services done. I kept my receipt because they over charged me. They also told me I would get credit but there was no credit put under my account. It's only Dec and my engine oil is dried up. I got screwed over so many times by this place. My car started to over heat so I took it at a different car service location. They told me that the last place that serviced my car didn't fill up the oil and didn't flush out the engine properly which caused the current problem of my car now. So I called this place to get a print out about the car service I received with the engine flush and oil change but they're not able to pull up any record of my car getting those services. Horrible car service!! They will give your car problems without u knowing so u take it back and charge u more! read more

The A/C in my wife's SUV was not doing the trick so I decided to get it serviced and recharged. I called Jiffy Lube to ask if they performed that service and I was assured that they did, I was also given a price quote and told that the recharge would take about 45 minutes. I asked if there was a long wait and I was told no. My wife and I hopped in the SUV and off we went, I drove past the shop heading east because it is set back a bit farther than the other businesses along the road but once I turned around it jumped right out at me. I pulled in, explained what I needed and the crew got right to work. After about 30 minutes I was asked to complete my customer data on their computer system. A few moments later a technician informed me that my A/C refrigerant was about 16 lbs low and that they were topping it off as we spoke. I paid my bill, the same price I had been quoted over the phone and went out to check out the A/C, the performance was perfect, couldn't be better, nice and cold! The shop is the perfect repair shop, they are all business and no BS. The waiting area is clean, and there is was coffee available for customers. There was no wi-fi signal available. Well, the only good thing was the typical free coffee in the waiting room. My buddy and I came in for an oil change and weren't addressed in the car until a little while after. Then as we wait for the oil change we clearly see the two workers messing around joking. The worker continuously apologized to us for the wait but really an oil change doesn't take that long. I have always gone to Jiffy Lube for all my cars oil changes. I also got told that the price for an oil change was a way different price than I was told when I got there. I also went for a top up a few weeks ago, and they never even touched my car. Just put the hood up, and when I drove all the way to Temple .. my car started acting up, so I checked my oil and it was empty ... so I called the manager and they told me the next service would be on them. I requested and oil change and tire rotation. They only had the capabilities to complete an oil change. The Positives: Customer service at this location is fairly good. They instantly greeted me with courtesy that a customer deserves. The Negatives: The price tag on a regular oil change is at times double what a dealership will do it for. The only additives that they have compared to the dealership is lifetime top off of fluids during the life of your oil. Is that worth the extra money? Not for me. By the price of an oil change at this location alone will drive me to change the oil myself or go to the dealership. read more

Don't trust these people with your car. They are courteous, friendly, and have free coffee and water; however, they know absolutely nothing about changing oil. Twice they over filled my wife's car with too much oil. The first time they promised a free oil change, but when my wife went to redeem this oil change said manager was no longer employed there. On the second occasion, the manager Craig couldn't understand how I just noticed it three weeks later. He just couldn't wrap his brain around the situation. I explained to him I only checked the oil because the car was leaking oil in my garage. I told I didn't know I was suppose to check behind them. I never went to any place to get a car worked on and I had to inspect the maintenance afterwards. If that's the case I no longer need to go to a place this. Two staff members refused to install a new headlight on the basis that it was too difficult: "too cramped" and "don't want to risk doing it incorrectly." I had come in for a state inspection after the headlight install as well. They didn't do that either because I would fail for the headlight they refused to replace. read more

So ironic, as I type this yelp says they are open. Their hours online say they are open. There hours posted on their door say they're open. Apparently not, because I went to get my oil changed at 5:10 on a Sunday evening, and the guy tells me that they are closed. I said that's weird cause their hours say that they are open until 6, and he tells me again that they're closed. I work 7 days a week, and I came straight from work to get my oil changed because it's past due. I'm guessing this "gentleman" didn't want to spend the rest of his shift actually working so he just turns customers away. Literally an oil change should only take 30 minutes and he would have had ample time.
