My brakes were metal on metal in the back, and I nearly slid through a stop sign which scared the daylights out of me! When I took my car in. I was told that I need both front and back brakes in Cove. I called brakes plus to get an estimate over the phone and explained that I could only do the rear brakes at this time due to finances . When they did the inspection, which was free, they told me I only needed rear breaks and they could do them right away. I was in and out in one hour and it was $80 cheaper than my quotes from Cove. BEWARE OF ENGINE DAMAGE! I went in the shop on June 15th for spark plug replacement and then got…read morevalve cover replaced. They failed to pull the spark plug out safely, broke the thread, and now new spark plug wont fit in, car is dead. Somehow the thread damage has become THOUSANDS of dollar in engine replacement which they completely refuse to take responsibility. They would blame the previous owner for putting the wrong spark plug in. While that could be true, spark plugs seize happen, but they would rather twist until damage instead of stopping if necessary to not break the vehicle down. My car was running fine before they messed up the threads, rendered my car completely dead. They did not stop knowing they could damage the vehicle. And they never informed me beforehand that the spark plug replacement could break engine and escalate to THOUSANDS in repair, which of course they deny any responsibility and can't even fix it themselves. I came to this location numerous times for break pads and rotors repair on the same vehicle. I trusted them to uphold their expertise, I guess until they break something, then all repair cost is pushed to the customers, so they can rush the next one out.

She was pretty accurate with that timeline. They checked out my truck and got me a quote (their phones were having issues - so she worked with me via Text (which was awesome as I could handle this all the while continuing my work day!)). She provided me both a quote and ETA of the repair which I promptly agreed to. They had my truck wrapped up & ready for pick up just a few business days later. I picked my truck up and the same nice lady gave me a run down of my repairs and their findings as well as instructions that they put dye in my A/C system so if I had issues just give them a shout. I drove the truck home but still had concerns with the A/C. I texted her and she told me to drop the truck back off. Shortly after our exchange I dropped the truck back off - but had another lengthy discussion about what I was experiencing. Chuck's team took another crack at my problem (Basically the A/C had no freon leaks, and would at times take upwards of 30 mins to cool the truck off. It just didn't cool like it used to.)
