Way better than expected! A lot of people have told me to stay clear of the chains like jiffy lube and ez lube etc but I decided to take my chances. I was in between classes and had some time to spare so I decided to get my oil changed. An employee quickly greeted me at my car window and opened the door for me. I told him that I just need a standard oil change and I don't need any bs up-sells. He laughed and said no problem. He directed me inside to give standard information then I was told it shouldn't be too long for my car to be ready. I was there probably 10 minutes at most and out the door. Awesome place! Because of the reviews, I drove clear across town to go to this specific Jiffy Lube. My check engine light was on and the manager gave me the codes and told me what was wrong. I had a coupon and they didn't try and upsell me anything. Just showed me the air filter, of course, and said that I'd need a service in a couple thousand miles. I came today for an oil change and I had a $15 off coupon so my total for just a regular oil change was about $28. The full price for an oil change was $37.99 plus tax so it was a good deal that I got. Seriously! This place blew my expectations out of the water. I went in for an oil change with my two young boys and was given friendly and immediate service. Went there on a Thursday morning. Didn't get that oil change special. However, I did have a coupon for the a oil change and tire rotaion for 29.99. Just that this Jiffy didn't have the lift to do a tire rotation. Oh well I thought. Until the manager said I could still use the coupon price instead of paying the full price of $43. This was my first time coming here, I really was over due for a oil change. But NEVER again will I be coming back. My oil change which in the past has always been less than 30-40 bucks... Came out to 80 dollars!!! I just wanted the manager special and some how was talked into the signature blend and then some other crap. Which who knows if they actually did... So I was tree the other day. I am super upset and would never go to this location again. When I was greeted. I was rushed out of the car. The man helping me right off the bat was asking if I knew what kind of oil my car takes. I said regular. He was like nope your oil change will be $90. Your car takes synthetic oil. I was shocked and said that was not right. I said if its that much I'll go to the dealer. I had never spent that much money. Ever. He was like well why would you leave if it's going to be the same price? Well I know it wouldn't be that much so I left. Because that was insane. I knew that wasn't right. I felt like since I was a woman he was trying to over charge me. And acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. This is the third place I've tried in LB for an oil change and the first that hasn't tried to upsell to me. Finally I've found my oil change place for the next year or so that I live here! I've gone here twice for an oil change and both times were awesome. The prices are great, oil change is quick, and the staff is friendly. I had a parking ticket mailed to me back in January claiming that I had been parked somewhere that I had never been when I was truly at Jiffy Lube and I went to JL to see if I could get a manager to sign a statement as evidence for me. Not only was the assistant manager willing to sign the statement I was planning on typing up, he let me type it right then and there on their computer so that I wouldn't have to leave and come back! I didn't have anything done to my car because of the price, but they still opened my hood and did I don't know what while the manager was trying to sell me synthetic oil.
