Made me feel like I was asking for a lot when I asked for a refund. The manager was helpful in fixing the issue the following day, but still, unfortunate and unprofessional behavior. I went to Jiffy Lube on Old Forest Rd and they put the wrong type and viscosity oil in my Synthetic only turbo engine car. This caused some issues, which I originally thought was bad gas, and my mechanic found the issue with the oil. I take the car back to Jiffy Lube to flush and change the oil. Which they did, but the car was still having problems with timing. I called a mechanic and was advised to ask Jiffy Lube to have it repaired, which I did. They had me meet their "master mechanic" at a different location(Timberlake Rd) to run diagnostics. Which i did. He did the diagnostics and had me come back the next day to replace timing sensors and flush out fluids and replace. He hands me the invoice stating all the work that he did, not realizing that I watched him put on the sensors and do nothing with my fluids, he never even pulled my car into a bay on repair day. That's right folks, he falsified documents. I left thinking, I need to tell someone about this but it was a Saturday, I will call on Monday. Of course my check engine comes back on and within an hour, I have the car back in front of the mechanic asking him to check the fluids. He refused by saying that he just did all the fluids, they were fine. (Which I knew was a lie). He runs the code and it was about my boost, but he didn't think it was a serious code, I should be safe to make a 900 mile round trip to go see my family in GA. Needless to say, I am a woman, but I am not stupid. I go back to the Old Forest Road Location and get the name and phone number of the DM who chose to ignore me for 5 days until I made a public post on Facebook and Google. He first stood by his mechanic, but, to placate me pulled video and found that I was not lying. My fluids were not replaced. He advises me to take to the local Buick dealership and let him know what he says. I did, thinking they would make it right. Oh how I was wrong. The Buick dealership found there was not enough oil to register on the dipstick. They did a complete oil change and said drive it for a few days, hopefully, there isn't permanent damage due to this incompetence. Guess what??? There is!!! The car went back to the dealership the very next business day. Guess where it still is? That's right...the dealership. Over $2000.00 damages and still not fixed. Hundreds and Hundreds of dollars in Uber and Rental car expenses, without any forseeable end to the need of these services, My car is still not fixed and what is Jiffy Lube doing to make this right? Not a thing. I have to prove that it was their oil that did all this damage. Excuse me, what oil? The non-existent oil that your mechanic did not put in my car???? I went off, now I am angry, distraught and exhausted. I get the name of the Regional Manager and his phone number. Guess What, NO RESPONSE from him either. (Update he did text but never spoke to me). I have casually had conversations with a lawyer about this. I even filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the used the falsified documents as a measure of doing right by me. Went to get my oil changed and planned on heading across town to get new tires. I was told they could sell me tires. I asked the price and if they had road hazard. I was quoted a price that was just a little higher then NTB so I went along thinking they had included road hazard. WRONG. During the tornado on 4-15 I hit a pothole and blew out my tire. I took it back to check on repair. Some 'gentleman' in a dress shirt told me they would do nothing since I didnt buy the protection. I explained the conversation. He said there was no one still employed there that had been then 3 months earlier. Well, a quick look around the shop proved him wrong. Long story I know. I went to Harris Tire and got a replacement. The staff was friendly and I really thought this experience was going to be great...FOUR HOURS LATER my opinion changed. I came to get my brakes checked out and they told me I needed new rotors. Fine. Then they told me I needed a new belt because mine was going to snap eventually. Sigh, fine. $317 bucks later I drove away convinced that I had shelled out an arm and a leg for a great working car. Less than a minute down the road I heard an awful scraping sound that did not stop. I immediately went back to the Jiffy Lube and told them there was a noise. They had assured me they had driven it beforehand, but I persisted. Thank Jehovah I did because they came back and told me (surrrprise!) I needed new brakes which is exactly what I had come for in the first place! So I sat and waited for them to fix my brakes and had my boyfriend take it for a spin with one of the guys so that there would be absolutely no confusion. My boyfriend pointed out where the issue was instead of one of their employees. Why. WHY? Why would you pay money to get something fixed from someone who can't even pinpoint the problem?! It turns out it wasn't even installed properly. WOW. I spent 317 bucks and wasted four hours. Thanks, Jiffy Lube. This place only two stars instead of one because they comped the brakes. read more

NEVER USE THIS PLACE!! They could have KILLED me!! They don't know what they are doing! I went in to get my brakes fixed, which they did... But they didn't tighten the lug nuts on my front drivers side wheel before allowing me to leave!!! After waiting nearly 3 and a 1/2 hours, they finally finished and I left. I was driving down the highway, and all of a sudden my car started to shake severely!! I pulled over in a store parking lot and found 4 of 6 lug nuts were barely hanging on!! The shaking I felt was my wheel wobbling all around!! It could have fallen off while I was driving down the highway at 60 mph!! Which could have ended in a horrible wreck!!! First of all, to establish my knowledge about oil changes - I grew up on a dry-land wheat farm in the Pacific Northwest. I have changed oil in everything from HD-15 tractors, to Freight-liner Trucks, to your everyday driver. I recently moved to Lynchburg for grad. school and need a quick oil change. I have never been to a shop before, nor do I know how oil change shops work. Lessoned learned. Here's what happened: 1.) Super friendly staff welcomes me into the shop 2.) 4 to 5 people immediately start checking out the car - lights, brakes and fluids 3.) While a clean technician explains the products 4.) The up-selling starts - tires, air filters, break fluid, transmission fluid, window-wiper fluid....WO WO WO - I thought I was getting a $39.00 oil change. 5.) 3 lights, some power steering fluid, oil change and an air filter later - $140.00 In reality, probably only the lights and the oil needed changing, everything else - I was led to believe could in some way prove detrimental to my vehicle. Now that I am not on the spot I recognize it was complete and utter BS. So, I am an idiot - I realize that - but please please please let this post be a friendly word of cation to you when you're thinking about getting your oil changed at Jiffy Lube - don't do it. Called ahead to see the wait: 10 minutes. Got there ten minutes later and the wait was now 45 minutes. They couldn't find my vehicle in their system even though I've been to several jiffy lubes before- just not this one. The checkin lady kept shifting and looking around as we went through my intake questions. I almost just left but they already had my vehicle over the bay and were draining the oil. I was seated in the "lobby" and pumped the coffee carafe and a small fly actually flew out of the spout. I was done in 30 minutes though. The sales push wasn't bad. read more

Where to start.... so i go in for a state inspection and they say one car is ahead of me. I ask them how long it will be and they say they didnt know. So i left my car with them and got a ride home. About 3 hours later i call them to check in and they said its all done and ready which useally means no problems and it can be picked up. I get there and they tell me something is wrong that my headlight assembly is loose and they can fix it for 190 bucks. I just want my car back so i tell them why didnt you tell me it didnt pass over the phone?? I tell them to fix it and my friend brings me back home they finally called at 5 pm i dropped my car off at 10am 7 hours to do a state inspection and somehow they magically found something wrong with my vehicle when i showed up to pick it up. Called the complaint line so i can talk to their boss and today the manager that told me the headlight assembly was loose in the first place. That makes no sense to me we talk for a bit and he tries giving me his district managers number and i tell him why do i have to call him shouldnt he be calling me??? Beware. Service is so bad that it seems managers or some staff may have an internal conflict and may be aiming to sabotage the business at the expense of blatant undermining of customer's needs. If that is not the issue maybe drug testing needs to be implemented. Repeated problems; I will not use them again. We have used the Old Forest Road Jiffy Lube for years but never again. Each time staff changes with heavy turnover and there is no accountability for mistakes. Never had an oil leak until just after an oil change at that location and taking it back several times (regarding a continued leak) they informed me they forgot to replace the drain washer. May of 2019 I took it in for an oil change in a rush to leave town, stressing 3x to kindly replace the drain washer. I had them put in writing that this was an issue and thanked them for putting a replacement washer on as they stated they did. The leak stained our new garage floor and I didn't want to have the same issue. Well, it happened again! Heavy leaking occurred again but I had to travel. We visited another Jiffy Lube while traveling. I spoke to Brian, the manager of the other location in Florida and I was informed that there was no drain washer whatsoever, Old Forest Rd. had removed the old one but never replaced it. The leak stained the place we were staying as well but Florida fixed our leak without charge. While traveling I called Old Forest Road Jiffy Lube and spoke to Derrik and he informed me the manager was out to lunch. I left my phone number and never received a call back. After giving the manager a few days to eat his lunch I called back. Upon calling back a second time I was put on hold and eventually hung up on. Very unprofessional and disturbing. $70 literally down the drain, providing generous frustration and difficulties cost free. read more

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!! I took my car to the jiffy lube on old forest road a little over a month ago to get my oil change because i had a online coupon for $5 off well after the service I had been putting a quart of oil or so of oil in my car every week well I ended up driving to Roanoke and back and on the way back my check engine light came on so I took my car to my local mechanic to have my car looked at upon inspection the mechanic found that my car had no oil in the engine he then proceeded to put 2 quarts in to hold me over since I still had 1,100 miles until my next oil change well yesterday 06/12 I decided to go back to my local mechanic and have him perform another oil change but when he lifted up my car he noticed that the oil drain plug had not been tightened all the way so i I was slowly losing oil so I decided to contact the manager at the jiffy lube on old forest road and he said he would talk to his boss and contact me today 06/13 in which he did not I had to call him at which time he proceeds to tell me it's not their fault they do their job and have systems in place to prevent these issues which is clearly bs or my car would not have almost blown up due to a loose drain plug DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION USE THE TIMBERLAKE LOCATION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE YOUR CAR MESSED UP read more
