I decided to try this place since it was new, close to my house and I pass it several times a day. The oil change cost about $20 more than Kwik Kar the place I have been using for approximately 20 years. They were focused on up selling which wasn't an issue and I agreed to a couple of items. The salesperson near the end of the service told me that my drain plug was stripped and it was the fault of the prior service. Now I'm faced with having that serviced along with cleaning oil spots in my driveway. What's offensive with their service is this after the salesperson explicitly assured me that the truck wasn't leaking. In 20 years with nearly a dozen vehicles I never had an oil leak or any other issue with the less expensive Kwik Kar servicing. They were always professional and never pushy with the up selling. Beware, use them at your own risk because they will not assume any responsibility. Jiffy Lube is a mistake. Avoid it. read more

First off, I get there and the guy asks me if I want my tires rotated-not telling me it's $30 until after it's finished. Second, I was there for 2 and a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Third, so expensive. I usually get synthetic oil and pay around $40- nope it was $70 for a 4.4 qt. So my total bill was $101. To top it off when i got in my car my prefixes were changed and turns out they were listening to 106.1 in my car. How do I know this? Nothing 'JIFFY' about it. Just a bunch of kids who don't know what the fuck they're doing. I was a little leery from the beginning, listening to them talk. Then, after they've had my car for nearly 2 hours, I hear one kid apologizing to another customer about their wait. He blamed it on their 'janky' tools. No one would come talk to me about my vehicle. The only communication I would receive is when I asked WTF is talking so long. Apparently, they received the wrong size parts ... TWICE ! At this point I'm chewing the manager's (Jose) ass for lack of communication and shitty customer service. I will NEVER use Jiffy Lube again. Do yourself a favor, don't use them yourself. Me & my hubby went to San Antonio for a quick weekend gateway and come behold freaking oil leaked from Mansfield to San Antonio... everytime I go here it's a problem... I always get in and out when coming for oil changes. Staff is always friendly and helpful, not at all pushy or aggressive with upselling. The place is clean and offers coffee, water, and fresh popcorn for patrons. I will continue coming! read more

If I could give a zero I would. My wife went in there and they tried to upscale her on everything. Selling things she clearly didn't need. I come in and the tune changed. Due not go to this place for nothing. This facility needs to be closed down. Workers are mostly young kids unsupervised, and when supervised, they still don't know what the hell they doing. Took my car for a $40 oil changed and ended up with damages that costed me $1700.00 to fix it. Went back in told them that they changed my oil at the location the last 3 times so I know they was the one that caused the damage. Supervisor pulled all my receipts, none of them stated that my car had a issue at all, so the damage took place on the last oil change. To make matters worse, the supervisor begged me to bring my car back so that they can fix the issue, which really made me worry. So I took my car to a BMW dealership and for a second opinion to another outside BMW repair shop. Both stated that the issue was not a quick fix and it would run me between $1600-$1700 to fix it. Took both quotes back to jiffy lube and informed the supervisor who passed the information to corporate. So here's the kicker corporate director (Andrew) called me and also insisted that he could fix the issue himself in demanded that I bring my car to him, even after BMW and another dealership stated that it couldn't but the whole part needed to be replaced. Once again I stated hell no and demanded that they fix the damage that they caused and failed to inform me. So after going back n forth with the Director Andrew he blocked my calls and refuse to contact me back about the matter, so I hired a lawyer who is now working on taking the issue to small claims court. I am also working with the city of Mansfield collecting names to petition closure of the location. If they did this to my car without telling me, I'm certain that they did it to many others. This is illegal and dangerous. Please do not take your car there. went into jiffy lube today to get an oil change and my tire fixed. I was told that the "tech" guy was gonna come talk to me. Well instead of being professional I was treated like an idiot. They made me feel soo stupid. They did nothing but talk bad about me and laugh at me the whole time I was there. The removed my tire to fix it and then told me that the tire machine "broke" and said that they were gonna have to go fix it at a different store 20 minutes away. So I left my car there and had my dad come pick me up. Well anyways I got a call back saying my car was ready and when I got there one of the employees named Justin came in and was talking to the tech guy about my car and asked if I was the driver for the edge . Speaking as if he didn't already know that. My grandma came with me this time because the car was in her name and she wanted to know what the hell was up! So she started asking questions about my car and Justin was being extremely disrespectful.. ignoring her, slammed a door in her face and was just being plan rude to her. I went for the first time a few months ago when they first opened and absolutely loved it, all of the men were very nice and polite and the service was quick and easy! I went again last week expecting the same outcome and it absolutely was not. As a women, I feel that they felt they could take advantage of my lack of knowledge of cars. Last time my bill was $30 this time it was $120. Without asking, they added so many more charges for things I didn't need or ask for. On top of that, none of the men were as polite. The man up front asked a worker "will you walk this lady out please?" And he responded "I guess" as he walked me to my car he exchanged conversation with another work that contained many curse words. This is the best place in Mansfield to get your oil changed! I came in and got the best service that I have ever gotten from an automotive business in my entire life! They are so courteous and friendly! I have been here 3 times and have had these guys open the door for me to enter and exit the business all 3 times! I haven't touched their door! That just doesn't happen in society today but it happens here!! They always have free fresh popcorn and coffee. The building is very very clean and the atmosphere is so comfortable!! I am beyond impressed. And today I went in to get the truck inspected and they did it for free!! They just said, "this is on us just come back for your next oil change!" What??!! Wow! I will be back for every oil change and I am spreading the word as well! These guys are awesome! read more

I go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. I'm greeted, as usual, in the driveway and after advising the guy I was there for an oil change I escorted to the waiting area. Five or so minutes later another guy comes to tell me that "the price of Mobile 1 went up and our manager refused to pay the price increase." Given that, they are out of Mobil 1 but they have Penzoil which is "just as good as Mobil 1" if I would like tyo use that. When I decline he suggests I go buy my own oil and they will only change me a $35 installation charge. Two days later I return with oil and filter in hand I return to the same Jiffy Lube. I advise the man greeting me that I use Mobil 1 and have my own oil and filter. He acknowledges that and leads me to the waiting room. Five minutes later another staff member approaches me to advise me that they are out of Mobil 1 oil. I repeat what I told the guy who greeted me and this guy happily returns to the service area. 10 minutes later the original guy takes me to the counseling area so they can advise me of what work my vehicle needs. His first recommendation is to replace the engine air filter. Luckily, he has my filter in front of him. Aside from 4-5 small insects on the front edge of the filter there is no apparent dirt on the filter. He then informs me that the dirt is down inside. So I pry open several of the folds in the filter and there is almost no evidence the filter has even been used. So, no filter change and back to the lobby. When the work is complete I pay and am escorted to the car. I notice there is a partially full 5 qt bottle of Mobil 2 standing beside my car. I ask "didn't they use the individual quarts to make up the difference after the 5 quart bottle?" My car uses 8 quarts of oil and I bought two 5 quart and 6 single quart bottles so I could get two oil changes between the two (5 + 3 = 8). The guy says "Oh, I wish we had known!" Hmmm, your staff opened the trunk yourself to get the oil and filter and it never occurred that 5 + 3 = 8. Sorry, given the VERY slow service related to all the counseling that occurs, cheapskate purchasing policies, and questionable thought processes of the employees I'm gonna have to pass on ever coming here again. read more
