Manager did a great job explaining all that was needed and didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't have to have. Gave me some suggestions on how to fix a few minor issues with a leak I had that would cost $25-$30 at Autozone, but $300 at a shop. Great service, very welcoming, and did a great job. read more

I drove into the Poplar Jiffy Lube just of Mt. Moriah today and was very pleased with my oil change. Three things happened to me while there that surprised me and are not commonly found with businesses today. First, while I was waiting for my oil change to finish the rep came into the office and told another lady that she had put synthetic oil in her car the last time and she could actually wait another 2500 miles before she needed another. Second, the same rep told me that my air filter was still good and that I didn't need another saving me money. Third, same rep told me about a coupon on line they had running and saved me another five bucks. This station didn't have to any of these three things which is why I applaud their honesty and will definitely go back. read more

I never have a bad experience here. Great customer service! Ben, Marcelo, & Eugene were as pleasant as can be, even first thing in the morning on a Saturday! They had to order an air filter from another location, but were extremely accommodating in the meantime. I was running errands with my 2 toddlers and was LONG overdue for an oil change. When I pulled in, one of the techs put down a mat and pulled my car in for me! (I always hate that part when going to a quick change place.) Of course, I loved the fact that I didn't have to take my kids out of the car. They were really fast with entire process and friendly! After driving 14 hrs from Texas to Tennessee I realized that our car was in need of an oil change. We turned into the first place we found in Memphis, quickly we were greeted by Eugene and Marcello who provided us with speedy and courteous service. Going out his way to make sure we have a fully functioning vehicle and were safe to drive. Turning a other wise stressful process into a delight. Lying and lazy employees. They first told me that I couldn't use conventional oil, only synthetic (lie). And then they said I'd have to sign a waiver to use conventional (also lie). And then I asked if they had filled my tires with air because they were low and they told me they had (also lie). I will NEVER go to another jiffy lube again because of this location! read more

First the good. Everyone acted very professionaly & were friendly & kind. They were very quick! If you are in a hurry and money is no problem, go here! I usually go to Midas right across the street. After I left Jiffy Lube, I looked in my glove compartment & found my last 2 oil change receipts. They were each for $32.28 after a $7.00 coupon. I never brought a receipt to Midas. They knew it was available and gave it to me. How honest and nice is that?! After the very nice man very kindly walked me to the waiting area because he saw I was elderly and walk with a cane, I thought to ask how much my oil change would cost. He replied, "$89.00". I stood up and told him I would be taking my car & leaving. He then offer a second option for "$69.00". I kept walking to my car. Another man approached and offered me a third also lower price of $41.00. (Bait & switch? I don't know but I did know that I should have left right then. But, I really needed my oil changed and both of my rear brake lights were out. There are two coupons on their web site of which I was not informed. They are available online and I could have pulled them up for use today. Obviously money was important to me. Each of the brake lights were $12.50 which seems high but I did not inquire. My total bill was over $83.00 all told. It seems that my small 13 year old Ford Escape required an extra pint of oil because of the make/model. (?) Then there are all the small add on fees that I felt should have been included in the $41.00 quote. Not a good experience for me. I wonder if any of these very happy 5 star customers paid for the $89 or the $69 oil change that I was first offered? I doubt it. I will be going back to Midas for my $32.26 oil change when due! That amount was the all in price! I can't say live and learn because I am 67 and still haven't learned a thing! read more

Terrible service!! I was new in town, went in and got out pretty quick....except my floor mats, steering wheel, and door casing were COVERED in dirt and grime!! I called later the same day and they said come back in and they would clean it. When I went back the next day, they were too busy to take care of me and I demanded a coupon instead. I will not use Jiffy Lube ever again. I get better service, quicker oil changes, and substanially lower prices at Valvoline. The last oil change I had, they used an after market oil filter (cheaper for them), which caused my engine to make a knocking noise. I know this was the cause because I had to take my car to the michanic to diagnose the noise. They informed me that the after market oil filters have paper in them which breakdown quicker and can damage the engine. The mechanic did an oil change and the problem was fixed. So, in addition to paying about $30 more for my oil change, I had to pay $50 more to have it changed 3 weeks later and also a diagnostic fee to the mechanic of $125. My car in pretty new (less than 35,000 miles. I was not pleased with the added expense which was completely avoidable. As I stated above, I will NEVER use Jiffy Lube again. read more
