Changing oil. Such a simple concept that should be quick and relatively inexpensive, but so many times you go for an oil change and you'll leave hours later with a bill that is hundreds of dollars, and you wonder "How did that happen?" It is so hard to know whom to trust and whose advice to consider. Over the years, I have come to trust Jiffy Lube. I go to their locations on regular basis, and they take care of the rest. My cars have never seen the dealership since they were purchased, and I am glad to say that my last 2 cars went over the 200,000 miles, and thus one is heading in the same direction. Maybe the cars are good, or maybe the people who take care of them are competent, or maybe both. This specific location, at the moment, is my favorite. They are fast and efficient, and even though I don't live around here anymore, I will make a point to be in the neighborhood when the time comes to change the oil. They have done other services too, and I find their prices reasonable. As a matter of fact, here's a true story. I took my car to a shop near my current residence and asked for a quote. When they gave me the quote, I showed them a receipt from Jiffy Lube and asked them to explain to my why their service was $100 more than the same performed by Jiffy Lube. I got there expecting a long process, they took literally 5 minutes to get my oil changed. Recommended tire rotation, wipers were really bad so they quickly changed those, and double checked battery, wiper fluid, etc all in that time. Overall great experience and great team. I drove out of there feeling pretty good. Last time I came here it was somewhat of a bad experience because I was pressed to change my transmission, but I'm glad things have changed for the better, and the team was so polite and not pressing for any other expenses at all. Came to the jiffy lube as a spur of the moment attempt to change my oil. Asked in person if they would take my Groupon and/or Yelp coupons, and they confirmed in person they DO honor it. So I had a synthetic oil change, and the moment I entered the establishment, they were ready to service my vehicle. They also notified me (visual proof) of my air filters needing to be changed and ASKED if I would like them changed, in which I agreed and appreciated dearly. Shot out to Habana, Adrian, Justin, and John for making this process fast and efficient. I'm extremely happy with the service at this Jiffy Lube. It was my first time ever here or at a Jiffy Lube and I really didn't know how it works. So I went inside I asked the lady how it worked and she nicely explained to me that I needed to put my car so they can take care of that on the line behind another car waiting. Less than five minutes later the lady came back with all the information I needed to fill out and in less than 20 minutes my car was done and they did the oil change without extremely nice customer service and good prices. I went online on the website and I checked that they have coupons and they lady took it. I end up paying $15 less thanks to that. I'm definitely coming back! read more

I would love to have given this place 5 stars because the staff is excellent. The gentlemen helping me the day I went were Henry and Bryan. Both were very friendly and welcoming and as a woman made me feel very comfortable. The waiting area was very clean and I like how they have complimentary coffee while you wait. The downsides to my rating are about the service. I am aware that with an oil change, there are other services included such as washing the windows, interior vacuuming, tire pressure check, amongst others. They finished up the oil change, but the windows were not cleaned. I had to ask them to do that. I also had to confirm that the tire pressures were checked. As someone who popped their tire while driving 75 on the turnpike due to low TP, I take that seriously. Today (two days after my service) I have the tire pressure light on, so I know that was not done either. My car was already vacuumed clean so I don't know if they decided to skip that, which is understandable. All in all, the staff is Excellent but they do need to be aware that when someone pays $50+ for a service, things should not be looked over. I will continue going there but it's unfortunate I have to ask for things to be done when they should have been. read more

OMG $116 for full synthetic oil change rediculous!! It's cheaper at the dealership for about $50...incredible!! The only reason I did it here cause it was closer home and I was already passed couple miles. I was also told they changed the service reminder label on the windshield and they did not. I would like to start by saying . I have been a loyal customer here for years. I have notice that the employees constantly change. I don't know why your employees are trying to get sales. If they make commission or the store needs sales. I was overcharged. I was not asked what type of oil change. They went ahead and did what they wanted . When I asked I was told they were busy. Along with that I was charged for an engine treatment. I never approved which was $35 an engine treatment for what? As well I was charged $60 to two wiper blades that I was told were $30 for both. So $85 for synthetic blend oil . $35 for engine treatment. $60 for 2 cheap wiper blades . Total was $183 . I didn't want that oil I didn't ask for engine treatment. I was told they had a special on the blades. . So I guess cause I was a women alone they took advantage . I would like a refund . I called and was told me next oil change would be free. No I don't want an oil change from dishonest people . If my money is not refunded. I will call corporate office . Who knows how many women this is done too. I am definitely the wrong one. Scare tactics! The lady who brings you out to go over the car to discuss which exact services you want tried to scare me into thinking something was wrong with my car. She dramatically stuck her finger in the power steering fluid compartment and then shoved it in my face and said in an ominous tone, "It's red. It's not supposed to be red." I further questioned her and she pointed to a jug of yellow fluid and said it was supposed to be yellow like the jug. Well, after looking up this topic online I found out that it's normal to have red power steering fluid. It just depends on the brand you use. Luckily I paid my $21 bill for the standard oil change using a $19.99 coupon I got in my mailbox and got out of there. I won't be returning, which is sad because the actual guys that did the work on the car were speedy, and did a better than the usual jiffy lube job of vacuuming the floors. They even rolled out a mat for me to step on before getting into my car. I'm not sure if this weird woman was trying to scare customers into purchasing more services under management's direction, but I won't return and I'm warning the rest of my family and friends of Jiffy Lube's scare tactics. read more

It was quick and the service was polite and pleasant but unfortunately my $80 oil change ended up costing me $400 do to a careless oversight. It seems they didn't screw the aluminum engine plate/ splash guard that they have to remove to change the oil from under the car. 3 days later it tore off in the middle of the road we were driving and had to get it replaced at our dealer. I went back to try to resolve it but they just said they don't reimburse for that part, which is the only part they needed to unscrew to do my oil change so they forgot to screw back the plate correctly. I just want to get reimbursed for the part they neglected to put back correctly. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube since it was closer to my house. The staff was nice and the oil change was done quickly. My concern was with the way they did the oil change. The Tacoma oil filter was on top. So the person who changed my oil filter but did not put anything underneath the builtin funnel that Toyota has at the bottom catch any oil. That oil dripped down all the way through from the top to the bottom of the engine and pooled the oil on the skid underneath the car. The only reason I noticed was because there was oil on the driveway when I stopped at a friends house. I went back to Jiffy Lube and explain what happened but the person who I spoke to told me he did not do the oil change and he knew about putting a container to catch the oil. He did offer to clean it but at this point I don't want anyone touching my car. Now I have to take the skid plate off wash it and wash all the oil remnants out of the top of the engine and wash the underneath of the car because it's oil underneath of the chassis as well. I have been a Jiffy Lube costumer for the past couple of years, since I moved back to Miami. Every time I go to this particular location, I end up being quoted much more than I expected, or need to pay. It seems that there is an unspoken rule that they need to scare you into paying for more services than you went it to get. In my most recent visit, the young lady who "helped" me was quite condescending, and the lack of organization was more than apparent. Trying to scare your customers by telling them their car is in trouble so they spend more money at your shop is NOT good business. I don't intend to visit this location again. I got an email for $19.99 for their oil change package which normally costs $44. I stopped by on Wednesday at noon. They directed me right into the bay which only had 1 car at the time. They removed both filters and asked if I wanted to replace them. The waiting room is clean enough with air condition, a large TV playing news and free coffee service. Within 30 minutes, I had an oil/filter change, fluids topped off, inside vacuum, exterior windows wiped, tires filled and wipers checked all for the discount of $19.99. The front desk was friendly enough and the technicians were professional and quick. I did not find any oil stains inside or on the doors. I'd recommend these services for the price. read more

Obtained my oil change from store #1567. Superb customer service by Manager, Hector Henao. I was in an out in less than 45 min. My signature service oil change included so many additional perks such as: checking the air filter, transmission fluid, power steering, battery water levels, light bulbs, checked wiper blades, windshield washer fluid levels, tire pressure, and radiator reservoir levels. They (Hector and team) even washed my windows! A+++ it's a little pricey but was able to use a $20 discount online coupon. read more

Terrible experience. They sell groupons to get people in the door and compensate for overcharging. The groupon only covered a percentage of the oil change! They also try to over complicate explanations of everything so they can sell you on buying more over priced "service". Went with my girlfriend, I guided her on what she needed and we didn't just leave because she had already purchased the groupon. Scare tactics, poor service and overpriced product spell disaster for anyone savvy enough to know what they need and what they are trying to be sold. I don't recommend this place AT ALL! I have called multiple times about a warranty for my battery that was not honored and the line is not going through. I was initially excited to use a Groupon for this place but then they try to upsell you everything they can. I was even told afterwards that they dirty the AC filters or make them looks worse. OR that they have a dirty one that they always show to make people buy it. Very disappointed with jiffy lube. I have been using them for years and decided to buy a battery in June 2015 and was told by salesperson that I would be covered for 7 years with the interstate battery I purchased. Although it was more than I wanted to spend I bought it with comfort that my wife's car would be covered. After exactly 2 years and 7 days the battery was bad. I went back to this location where I purchased battery and store manager told me it was covered but free replacement was over last week. I asked him why I was told I was covered for 7 years and he said the person who told me that no longer works there. I will no longer use jiffy lube. Manager offered me $30 and I could get a new one for $130. No thanks I purchased my new battery elsewhere. read more

I came in for an oil change and of course was pressured with all the other "services " that my Honda Odyssey needed. I have a regular mechanic and declined. After that the manager was not quite rude but definitely not nice. I agreed and paid to have my coolant topped off. I drove to publix after that and the car started to overheat. The next morning I opened up the hood - both the backup coolant tank and the radiator were completely empty. I went back and they filled the tank and the radiator.
