This place is extremely over priced. I went in for a simple oil change and they wanted to charge me $99.00 plus $30.00 for i dont know what not including taxes. They said my car needed "synthetic oil" it didnt take the regular one mind you i drive a chevy lol. So on the spot i called the chevy dealer and over the phone they told me for $59.00 plus tax an oil change, tire rotation and change of the filter is included. So guess what i did i got in my car and went straight to the dealer. Never again will i go back to this over priced place. I saved about $70.00. read more

If I could give a negative star for this business I would. . This is my second time here, and my first time wasn't that good either. Fist of they want to upsell you everything that you obviously don't need. But hey I don't blame them for being hustlers but I do have a problem when I pay for something I don't get. So they told me I needed coolant and that it was Xtra to refill it, I told them to go ahead with it and also to please add the windshield liquid because i knew it was empty, after my car was done I drove off and tried the windshield liquid only to find out that they hadn't put any nor did tgey put any coolant liquid. This has to be the WORST service place, I have ever gone to. I hope that anyone reading this takes their business elsewhere. AVOID. I went in for an oil change, I asked for a price before anything was done to my car, I even let them know that I had never been to a Jiffy Lube before. Sat inside the ​waiting room, hearing another customer complain​ about prices but just thought nothing of it. A mechanic called me outside to get my information and tells me that my oil change would be $120. I immediatly told them why and they told me that the oil my car takes (Synthetic) is $120. I informed the man that I had gotten oil changes at my DEALERSHIP & PEPBOYS with synthetic for $45-60, what the made the this oil $120?? He didn't have an answer so I told him that i would take my car somewhere else and that I would not pay for $120 oil change. He then informed me that the lube techs had already drained my oil and that I had no choice in getting the oil change done there. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. He lowered price to $90 and then offered a $20 coupon. First and LAST time I will ever visit a Jiffy Lube. read more

Good ol jiffy lube...took a relatives car over for a oil change, I am already aware of their up selling and their consistency for finding maintenance services that in their systems states "needs" to be done but in reality they do not...so the lady shows me a super dirty white air filter with cracks and tears, asks me if I want to change it. Of course I decline since I could do it myself. After the oil change I head over to a advance auto parts and purchase the air filter which saves me little bit over 20 bucks vs if I would have taken the lady's offer. Now behold when I open the air filter case the air filter is red. Now this tells me one thing, jiffy lube has a dummy dirty torn air filter to show customers so they purchase an unneeded air filter. Oh an another thing, they wanted 25 dollars to "top of" the coolant...any other place I been to its part of the oil change service...stay farrrrr away from this place, actually the whole company...again and again they get caught cheating the customer...bastards read more

I am extremely upset with the DISHONEST "service" the Jiffy Lube in Miami (6700 SW 117 Ave) provided today. My husband showed up with a $25 oil change coupon. They said he used synthetic oil last time and he said "ok, but will it still be $25? " and the worker assured him that yes, it would be $25. Had they been honest about the price increase, my husband would have left immediately. We purposely wait for coupons to get oil changes because we can't afford to pay so much. When they rang him up at the end and he saw it was $80, he complained and they said it was too late because the service had already been done. They were dishonest and should have told him from the beginning that it would not be $25 dollars. He even asked if he could use a Groupon instead and they said no, too late. Disgusting customer service. I called the manager and he offered me no help and did not agree that what was done was dishonest. Never going back to Jiffy Lube after years of being a customer. read more

Every time I come to this Jiffy Lube location I have a very good experience. The staff is courteous and helpful, and I always leave feeling like I have received excellent service. Plus their bathrooms are clean - which is a real plus when you have a two-year-old who needs to use it :) read more

Trust me, you DO NOT want to go to this Jiffy Lube. (Or probably any Jiffy Lube, based on my bad experiences at two different locations in the Miami area.) You have to rate at least one star...otherwise I would have given a NEGATIVE number of stars. About a minus 7. I always get my oil changes done at my dealership, but since I was a little overdue for a change, I decided on the spur of the moment one Saturday to stop here. I should have left as soon as I saw the price was MUCH higher than the usual $30.00 or so that I pay at my dealer. But I was already there, and decided to go thru with it. The reps that helped me were courteous enough, much better than the giggling idiots I encountered years ago at a Jiffy Lube on Flagler Street. But that's the only good thing I can say about this place After what seemed like an eternity, considering there were only a few cars ahead of me... mine finally made it to the front of the line. A few minutes into them working on my car, a rep pulls me outside to a little computer they have set up near the work area. (I thought insurance regulations prevented customers from being near vehicles being worked on...but here they appear to want to isolate you from the herd...) I had noticed every other customer being pulled aside out there, and wondered what they could be up to...why not discuss whatever you have to discuss in the air-conditioned lobby? Anyway, I soon realized it was because they want to try to scam you, out of earshot of the other customers...so they don't know what is coming when it's there turn. The rep mentions that I have chosen conventional oil, but tells me that the manufacturer recommends a synthetic blend, which I can have for a much higher rate. I say no, I don't want the higher priced oil, just give me the conventional oil, and they proceed to tell me that using the conventional oil might "Void my warranty". I am not an idiot, I figure if my car dealer charges $30.00 to change the oil, it must be the less expensive conventional oil, so I say no. (I must note, that they waited till my oil had been drained to try this, if they had not, I wanted to leave without letting them do the change.) What a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS. So, before I wrote this review, I checked with the dealer, and sure enough, I was correct. They always use conventional oil. They said my car might benefit from synthetic when it hits a higher mileage, but it is still under 30,000 miles and does not need it. They of course also tried to get me to pay a high price for changing the air filters, which I declined, and am glad I did based on another reviewer here saying when he went to change his himself, it looked very different from the one they had shown him. SCAMMERS. Please do not let these SCAMMERS take your money. I would never use any Jiffy Lube again. If they were the last place on earth to go, I would learn how to change it myself. If you are passing this place, please do what I wish I had, and KEEP GOING. You will thank me. ***One last note, i was smart enough to remove anything of value from the car, and it's a good thing I did...since I noticed later that the glove box had been searched......and another reviewer here had something stolen. I will never return. My husband and I were loyal customers for years but the last time we both had our cars serviced there our cars broke down because of the work done by them. They attempted to fix both our cars but they actually made it worse. New oil filters, belts, water pumps and $700 later we learned our lesson. read more

Let me start by saying that me and my entire family bring our cars here for oil changes and thought this was a good place that we trusted our vehicles with. On 12/3/13 I brought my car in for an oil change, they said my vehicle was in good condition. Last week I was driving and out of no where my car shuts off on me. I had to have it towed to the dealer where I originally purchased it so that their service department can check and see what was wrong with it. Dealer service department advises me that oil filter on the car was loose and basically driving without oil caused my engine to fail. I immediately tell service dept that that cannot be because I recently had my oil changed at Jiffy lube as I have the receipt to prove it. Dealer contacts jiffy lube to advise them of the problem, jiffy lube sends someone out to look at the vehicle and dealer explains to jiffy lube the problem. I now call jiffy lube to check the status of how they plan on going about this matter. I spoke with an "area manager" who says they do not believe they can help me because dealer "tampered" with the vehicle. Not sure where this is going but if they refuse to help me replace my engine I will be seeking legal assistance. This is complete BS. read more

I took my Ford vehicle in for its first oil change to this location. After I left the service station my "change oil light" came on. I went back to the store and they checked the vehicle and I was told it was taken care of. Two weeks later again the light turns on. Again I take it back and again I was told the "change oil light" warning was re-set. My brakes start to have problems and I when I took it to Ford, I was told that when my vehicle was serviced for the oil change, someone added a foreign liquid to the brake fluid container as they topped it off. The entire brake system had to be changed. I filed a claim with Jiffy Lube and the store manager, Victor Moreno, sent out an "independent" appraiser who, of course, denied the claim. I had to pay for the repairs and after various phone calls, e-mails, and texts, I have received no response from Mr. Moreno or the company. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they failed to respond to the complaint. Currently, they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. If you read the other Yelp reviews for this company, its understandable why. I guess for this company, "customer service" and "customer satisfaction " means nothing! read more
