We arrived close to 2:30 on a Saturday and we're reminded several times this location closes at 4pm. While we waited in the parking area the team seemed to be unsure of the engine "covers" of our vehicle. I think the price was a little high compared to other drive in locations. I finally printed the invoice, after a couple weeks, and it was full of b.s! They did not check tire pressure, or clean windows, or top off the coolant: but the invoice said they did. I've been to Jiffy Lube a dozens of times at different locations with good experiences. This shop didn't top off the coolant (like the invoice said they did) or check tire pressure (the invoice says they did), and tried to upsell a filter for $63 that I just bought on Amazon for $12.23. They tried to reset my "time for a change" to 5000 mi., when the factory specs say 7,500 mi. The employees were b.sing and not focused on the bays, which were both full. They didn't tell me what they had or had not done. The owner, who acted rude, I thought, was around the corner smoking a cigarette with and employee when I left. Chris, the general manager, terrible. Not only skill set but respect to the elderly is even worst. So after I watch him and the bay kid take 30 mins to instal a protection plate back onto a Toyota sequoia. An older gentleman had pulled in with some kind of issue because I over hear Chris and the other bay kid talk about how the older gentleman went to oreillys and "oreillys don't know what the fuck their doing" is what they had to say about that. Then I watched Chris with my own eyes tell the older gentleman to "get the fuck out of here" and to "fuck off". Obviously the gentleman gives back to him. But the sad part of it all, the gentleman got so frustrated he goes to leaves and doesn't notice the wort truck that pulled in behind him while Chris was showing his customer service off and he backs right in to it. This town is 75% seniors and Chris has no idea how to treat them. The trip before this Chris scratched the front of my brand new Silverado with the zipper on his jacket. I buffing it out. Just terrible all together. When I worked for United Elec, they got their trucks serviced there jiffy lube and jiffy lube would always crack the transfer case if they serviced it so they were not around to service the transfer case. Check integrity of employees!! I got my grandmas oil changed there and they tried to tell her she had a leak & they could fix it. She took her car to her regular mechanic and they added a dye and found there was no leak at all. I thought that was very rude to do to an elderly person. SMH read more

I showed up on a Saturday and was greeted immediately. I had to explain I just went to a competitor because I was out of town and needed an oil change badly but had subsequently found an oil puddle under my truck. Jokes were made and I was assured they'd be happy to help. Long story short... they tightened my drain plug, cleaned the mess in my skid plates, checked all my fluids, filters and even topped off the air in my tires. No charge. Thanks so much!!! read more

Would not give an oil change unless I gave email and phone. I said I don't want coupons or be inundated with Jiffy Lube offers. The "Manager" said I was giving him attitude and after some back and forth; he told to get the F*ck out of here. He then called me a bitch ass nig**. I'm 70 years old, not used to being called racial epithets by 20 something year olds. I read some other reviews and now understand I need to go somewhere else for an oil change that employs people who don't abuse their customers. read more

I do not recommend this location. They have left oil caps off and on one occasion forgot to reattach the vent hose for the air filter. In conversation with the manager, when the "service inspection" indicated wipers inspected but were in tatters, he agreed to replace the windshield wipers. He then only provided one wiper lamenting he couldn't afford two. This location lost our business. read more

Watch out, this Minden location is the one JiffyLube you need to be wary of. Im talking these guys would be perfect undercover camera Consumer Reports material. Our local company has a fleet arrangement with the main company who owns all local stores (griffin fast lube services) All other locations are great but we've had 3 separate instances at the Minden location where the invoice was padded for work not performed. The latest was a $50 cabin air filter charged on invoice which I specifically stated we didn't need nor want 2 times during our appt at the store. The invoice came in a week later as we were a fleet and sure enough a charge for an air filter was on there.....at least their sleight of hand and charging for work not performed is consistent. I can appreciate anyone at the top of their game and as far as trying to pull one over on people this store is second to none. Be wary of these people, they're callous on preying on the unsuspecting. read more

The attendant was very clear about the wait time. I came prepared with a book and a crossword puzzle! The WiFi works great in the waiting area if that's more your jam. The service technician explained the options on the oil types, and I felt like it was fair rather than an up sell. I appreciate having the tires rotated at the same time. I was in and out in an hour. I will be be back! I used a Groupon -but the manager told me there are better deals on the website. Certainly will investigate that! read more

I called to see if I could get my transmission fluid and filter changed, the guy told me yes but to bring my own filter. I picked up a filter and gasket and drove down to get it change the next day. I was then told they wouldn't change the filter, only the fluid. What a waste of my time! read more

Horrible customer service! They don't know what they're doing. My husband and I went together in our separate cars. He pulled up right next to me. Nobody else waiting. While the guy was helping me, another car pulled up behind us. The kid asked me if there was any other services I need. I said not for this car, but my husband (who pulled up alongside me) also needs service. So, the kid walked up to my husband to start helping him, looked at the car clearly behind us (who just pulled up) and said that car was here first and walked away from my husband to help the person behind us. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Also, they couldn't find my car in their computer system even though I've been there several times. So, when I asked the kid which oil I should get, he had no clue. When my husband complained to the manager, he told him. "We're not hurting. We don't need your business." We just paid 110.00 for an oil change. My husband decided while waiting to look for coupons on his phone. They never made any suggestions that we might be able to save alittle. Mind you we have been using this location for multiple vehicles for years. I showed her the coupon on the phone and she did give me a credit for 10.00. On the invoice it said that the exterior windows were all washed. They were filthy and had not been touched. Makes you wonder if they did anything else that said completed in the description. They don't seem to care about customer loyalty and it is not as if they were busy. We were the only vehicle there. We don't think we will use this location again. read more

When I first moved here, I went to have my vehicle's oil changed at this location. First of all it was extremely expensive. They changed out parts that were unnecessary for a newer car. Also, I heard rumors about this location not tightening the oil plug. I thought it was just maybe a mistake done to a few customers,, but then I had my oil change there again about a month ago, they charged me 40 dollars more costing me $120. I traveled to the Bay Area and I took the car to a mechanic to check my brakes they said I needed an oil change. I was a bit confused since I just had one done at this location. They said the oil plug was not tightened and therefore the oil was slowly leaking. Do not go here,, its overpriced and they purposely do this to customers so they will have to come back. read more

I was welcomed by friendly staff, offered water, and shown where the bathroom was. I appreciate when auto workers teach me about the parts of my car. He took time with me and showed me what was going on. I went to Jiffy Lube today Monday 7-22-2019 to get my oil changed In my Jeep that has a key fob, everything was ok until I left, when I got to my destination I stayed in the car to wait for my wife when she got in the car I went to start it and it said no Key fob well there was no key fob I leave it in the cup holder, not there so I called Jiffy lube they said they don't have it and that is that, not really so I back track my route and found it on the ground about 50' from there shop , so I went back to tell the Manager that must of left her brain at home that day, that they must of left it on the hood of the car, she just said great! that's it . A new one would have cost me around $220, I am not happy and will never go back there again! I have been going there for many years, sad!! read more

Simply put, the customer service at this place is excellent. After running my car with my oil life at zero for way longer than I should have I had to travel out of town suddenly and I was stressed that I should get my oil changed first. I had very little spare time to do that though. The gentleman that greeted me was so helpful and professional. He had me pull my vehicle in, he checked the oil, he identified that I should be fine and then he humored me when I wanted him to add oil just so I could have peace of mind. Have been using this facility for a number of years. Entered facility at 410 pm 4/18/15 seeking oil change. Intended to walk/shop at nearby stores at be back before 5p which is closing. Was shown the restroom and encouraged to sit in the waiting area. Stated I had other business and would be back shortly. I was told by both employees that company policy states if vehicle enters service bay within 1 hour of closing owner MUST remain on site with the vehicle. I asked why and was told that this insured that vehicle was NOT left overnight at the facility. Overnight!!! How do I get home if I leave a vehicle?? Employees would not discuss issue. That's what you get for paying minimum wage and hiring without HS diploma or GED. What stops owner leaving vehicle at 8am, 10am 1pm? Not much common sense here. Also see a lot of personnel turn over in this facility. Try Walmart, just south of town on Hwy 395. read more

Jiffy Lube Minden, NV sticker machine was broken. So I traveled out of my way to Carson Topsy, Carson City, NV location to get a sticker. While I was there, Jiffy Lube rotated my tires. My car began shaking that same day. I took the car to Tires Plus and they said the front left front was at 0.20 degrees off and the front right was 0.11 degrees off and the middle front was off by 0.30 degrees. I have the paperwork describing the condition. Its unacceptable. I had to pay money to Jiffy Lube without a coupon for them to mess it up acting like they made my car better. Also the front desk girl was rude the entire time. Then I had to pay money to a different company just to fix Jiffy Lubes errors on my car. Also, Jiffy Lube will not accept and apply coupons after a transaction is made. I paid money for synthetic oil in Minden and realized there was a coupon online for that after I had paid. Jiffy Lube would not allow me to use the discount. What a joke. I will never recommend Jiffy Lubes services, nor will I ever return. read more

I was traveling from Utah to Calif. when my change oil light came on. I pulled in and was greeted by a very friendly staff. when i walked in the office i made a comment of this being a small jiffy lube when a customer siting there says .I think you will be happy with this one ,you can always tell a good place by how clean and organized that it is. He was absolutely right . they had me in and out in about 20 minutes or less and explained everything to me as to what they had done.
