Chris, the general manager, terrible. Not only skill set but respect to the elderly is even worst. So after I watch him and the bay kid take 30 mins to instal a protection plate back onto a Toyota sequoia. An older gentleman had pulled in with some kind of issue because I over hear Chris and the other bay kid talk about how the older gentleman went to oreillys and "oreillys don't know what the fuck their doing" is what they had to say about that. Then I watched Chris with my own eyes tell the older gentleman to "get the fuck out of here" and to "fuck off". Obviously the gentleman gives back to him. But the sad part of it all, the gentleman got so frustrated he goes to leaves and doesn't notice the wort truck that pulled in behind him while Chris was showing his customer service off and he backs right in to it. This town is 75% seniors and Chris has no idea how to treat them. The trip before this Chris scratched the front of my brand new Silverado with the zipper on his jacket. I buffing it out. Just terrible all together. When I worked for United Elec, they got their trucks serviced there jiffy lube and jiffy lube would always crack the transfer case if they serviced it so they were not around to service the transfer case. The Coupon is an Oil Change for $25.99 I was told that if they gave me an oil change for that price they wouldn't make any money. THE MANAGER IS DAVE.......... For me, I ignore them and go with my own experiences, and I've been here a few times. This Jiffy Lube has a number of negative reviews lately, and I have simply not had that experience. Today I showed up and I was the only customer. Three people worked on my car and I enjoyed the full service oil change coming in at just under $45. I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Mid week seems to be the best time to go, as my usual visits occur on Saturday's, and it always takes longer, the lobby is crowded, and the place can be uncomfortable. The only downside today was that I was interested in changing my cabin air filter. The part at Jiffy Lube cost more than $30 and at the parts house down the street it was half that much. I installed it myself after watching a you-tube video to teach me, and felt great about the savings. So, I'm going with four stars, they'd get five today if they didn't gouge on the filter. read more

The manager is rude and texted me to argue over my tires PSI that they did not have set correctly after servicing my truck. I won't be back. They had a great crew with Ashley, David, and Connor. I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for ~12 years. The service has always been quick and efficient. I knew the people by their first name and they knew me. Today I went in for a routine oil change and to ask for a new filter. Waited 45 minutes with only one car in front of me. Never waited that long before asked the team how much longer, and found two cars in front of my car. They told me to wait at least another 30 minutes. So we left. Hoping that this was only a one time occurrence, but I did not recognize any of the people working and felt uncomfortable asking questions I will be looking for a new place to get my oil changed. read more

Here is the email that I sent Corporate.... Today I had, and paid for, a Signature Oil Change/Service and experienced several problems. When leaving the bay, I noticed that the computer in my car said I only had 27% oil remaining. I turned around and was told that they forgot to reset it. No problem. Then I noticed they did not vacuum my floors or wash my windows (keep in mind that I paid for this service), so they had to fix that. Finally I asked the worker if he was sure they checked the tire pressure as your receipt shows 34PSI and my computer shows 29 & 30 PSI's. He said they did, however, I doubt very much that is correct. In fact, I doubt very much that they did anything else other than change the oil, and this lousy service ended up costing me $67.81. Now, can you please tell me how this is justified? read more

I took my Jeep Grande Cherokee there for an oil change. Returned to the same place a couple months later for a follow up oil change and they couldn't remove the drain plug. They sent me to another Jiffy Lube in Carson City, but they could not remove the drain plug either. They guys at the Gardnerville Jiffy Lube tried again unsuccessfully. Had to take it into the dealership to get it repaired. This problem cost me about 3 days to get resolved. The Gardnerville Jiffy Lube said they will cover the cost for f the repair, but there's no compensation for my time and frustration. Will NOT be giving this place any business for the balance of my life. Advice others to beware. read more

I love coming here! I'm in and out very quickly. The customer service is amazing. I did not know until just recently that I was supposed to pull my car around but will do so next time. I got a Signature oil change in Groupon and decided to come in. The woman in the office is always very helpful and sweet. The cool thing about the oil change I got is that I get free top offs within my 3000 miles. I had to go in at 2000 and get a quart. It's safe to say I need to get my oil leak fixed. But they did it in under 5 minutes. I would recommend to everyone in the area! read more

OK - You're on a Lake Tahoe vacation having a marvelous time and get into the car and see the "CHANGE MY OIL NOW" message. Do not pass go; do not collect $200. Since i was on my way to Carson valley, I stopped at Jiffy Lube in Gardnerville. The staff there is outstanding; they quickly changed my oil; serviced other areas of the car; showed me all the caps on the car were tight; and got me on my way. They are so nice here. Their watiing room is nice with cold and hot water and hot chocolate. Nice windows in waiting area with gorgeous views of the Eastern Sierra Mountains..... TV in watiing room and various magazines; and with it being the Eastern Sierras of course a few fishing magazines also.... Can't beat this waiting room for the views .... So even though I wish the car would have told me to change my oil once I got back home... I found the service at Jiffy Lube in Gardnerville outstanding (better than the local Jiffy Lube I go to.) The local one is still good but not as amazing as this location. Thanks to all at this Jiffy Lube location. read more

I was initially pleased with the service as I left the facility. I was in and out of there quickly. However, once I drove off, I noticed my windows were very smeared. I was willing to let that go and re-do it myself later. I stopped my car at a grocery store nearby, then when I returned to my car and turned it on, I had 3 warning lights on my dash, including my check engine light. I have never seen any of these come on before. I called, told the man on the phone that I was coming back, and cautiously drove back to Jiffy Lube, with no idea what was now wrong with my car. After I showed them the warning lights on my dash, the man initially denied it was anything they did but agreed to hook it up anyway. They returned my car to me about 15 minutes later and explained someone left a hose loose. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Terrible service! Manager told me my oil change would be $45 minuse $10 for a coupon I brought. When I got back to pick up my truck it was $83. I asked why and he said I wanted an air filter. I dropped off my car and walked to the nearby Starbucks. I asked for the signature oil change which includes window washing and topping off many other fluids. When I came back I got the bill for $93. I was asked to pay for an extra quart of oil because my car apparently requires 6 instead of 5 quarts. Ok, minor annoyance because I'm already paying 80 some dollars for the service. That's when they guy told me all my tires were checked and had a pressure of 33 psi. Well, I just checked my tires a couple days ago and they were all around 44 psi which is what they're supposed to be. I told the guy and he asked if I wanted him to recheck it. I said I did. Sure enough, three of my tires were at 43 psi and one was low. The guy said that perhaps they forgot to check the tires, so he offered to add more air. He didn't seem very concerned or surprised that my tires had not been properly checked. As I was leaving, I noticed my windshield did not appear cleaned, which was part of the service. I wasn't about to go back, but I wondered how many other services they signed off on and didn't bother to check. Finally, later that night when I turned my car on after work, my dashboard break light started flashing and beeping for the first time. After reading up on the issue it could be anything from frayed wires, bad sensor, to low brake fluid. Now, apparently brake fluid is one of the few fluids that Jiffy Lube does not check, however, it's a strange coincidence that this happened immediately following the service. In summation, after reading other yelp reviews about this Jiffy Lube, it seems forgetfulness and/or neglect to actually provide all the services for which they bill is not an uncommon occurrence. There was no one at the jiffy lube besides me, so it's not like they were in a rush. The guy I dealt with was nice enough, but I recommend avoiding this Jiffy Lube because of an apparent pattern of poor service quality. read more

These guys are running the current scam of ripping windshield wiper blades and then offering to "fix" it. Problem I have is I use my wipers/washer daily, I know when they are in needing of changing, and I had just changed them a month ago...not to mention I had just used them 10-15 earlier...now I have to change out my new shredded wiper blades for another set of new blades...thank guys...OH BTW you just lost a long time customer. read more

Avoid this Jiffy Lube at all costs. They caused $1000.00 damage to our Jeep by overfilling the oil and blowing the seals. They made us jump through many hoops to get them information they requested for our claim and then denied us. They blamed it on us for not checking the technicians work before leaving Jiffy Lube. They are always so nice and helpful. I have had my oil changed here, my windshield wipers changed here, even car washes! They have always been nice and helpful as well as reasonably priced. I appreciate how they explain thing to me (considering I don't know much about cars) and have never felt taken advantage of like I have felt before at other places. I just had my check engine light come on and called them and was told they would plug it in to their handy dandy machine for free where as other places charge just to do so.
