I went to Jiffy Lube today to get a quick oil change. Once they pulled my SUV in, one guy came over almost immediately and told me my oil plug was too tight and they couldn't get it out. I explained to him that they were the last ones to change my oil so if in fact my plug was over tightened, they were the responsible party. Then another guy came out and told me it was a new protocol that they were not allowed to remove metal plugs from plastic pans and I should go take it up with Dodge. Obviously that comment was unnecessary but regardless is it a protocol change or is my plug too tight? Which lie am I supposed to fall for exactly? I went down the street to Strickland Brothers and let them know about the situation at Jiffy Lube and that my oil plug may be too tight to safely remove. They checked for me and turns out my oil plug wasn't tight at all. It took zero effort to remove it. The mechanic there said it was easier to remove than the last 5 cars he had done today. This leaves me thinking that either the guys working at Jiffy Lube are either incompetent, lazy, or maybe just thought because I'm a woman I don't know how a car works. Either way I will never be returning to a Jiffy Lube for any service. I will also be recommending to all the ladies and fellow Mopar owners I know that they also move their business over to Strickland Brothers since apparently Jiffy Lube has a protocol against working on Dodge vehicles. Unfortunately for the guys at Jiffy Lube I am a woman that knows exactly how my car works and Im a woman that is also very active in the car community as a whole so this little stunt today whatever the reason was not wise and may have a little more of an impact than just one pissed off lady. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They didn't add enough oil, less than half, and it seized my engine. The owner refuses to assist. I had a meticulously maintained Kia Sedona. Oil was always synthetic and changed early. They refuse to cover any costs and it was a $12,000 loss. Go anywhere else and always ask to see the dipstick to ensure they did the job properly. read more

First, they were pleasant, and they were timely. However, after getting back into my car the floor mats and steering wheel had oil on them. I didn't notice the mats or steering wheel until I was leaving the parking lot. I had to get back to work or I would have went back and addresses the issue. For $85 this should not be the standard. If you love wasting a few hours in a day, this is the place for you. Been here before and had the same issue. Everyone is nice and friendly, however that's about all I can say for the good. The bad: you will be here for no shorter than an hour, no matter the repair. Brought my car in for breaks a few months ago, took 2 and a half hours to change. Brought it back today for a misfire. They told me it'd be about an hour, even though changing spark plugs is a 10 minute ordeal. Been here for almost 2 and a half hours again. When asking why, "the parts are being delivered one by one".....Needless to say, just pay the 100 dollars more and take it to a reputable shop. read more

I took my Ford F150 to have the oil changed on March 17h. It has leaked oil ever since then. I went back and was told that the drain plug on the oil pan is just made that way and they always leak. I explained that it has never leaked before. I was referred to an 800 number for a resolution. No one has reached out to me to resolve this. I learned a valuable lesson... NEVER go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. They charge too much and do not stand behind there work. read more

No prices on the wall, they don't take the coupons that other stores take. Leaving there you generally feel like you've been ripped off.

I usually go to a different chain for oil changes, but this Jiffy Lube has been great. Wait times are short, hours and location are convenient, and service has been much better than where I used to go. read more

Had to get my truck inspected today. Went to Jiffylube by the mall. Last time I did this I had to replace my entire instrument cluster because the check engine light would not come on. But I figured this time, what could possibly go wrong? New tires and I have not put even 1k miles on it since the last time it was inspected. Wrong. Failed me due to wipers and they said my belt needed to be replaced. They would be happy to replace the belt for $80 plus labor and wiper blades for $15 a piece. I told them to fail it. I replace the belt and wipers for under $30. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for inspections. read more

Came in for an oil change they were nice and friendly, the prices are higher than competitors but it took them 15 minutes to do it they also checked all my fluids, checked my tires and even vacuumed my vehicle. I will definitely return, seems like they know what they are talking about! read more

My mother took her vehicle here on 08/28/2020 for an oil change. Not only was the oil NOT changed( mechanic saved the black/used oil that came out so we could show them)the vehicle was damaged and required over $200 in repairs. She spoke with a gentleman who she did not catch his name and at the end of the conversation when she asked for it again he hung up the phone. This gentleman said they would pay for nothing nor refund the ridiculous $100 for a "signature Service" that was NOT performed. However, the mechanic fixing her car spoke with the supposed Assistant Manager on 08/29/2020 who said to bring the receipts and they would reimburse everything. It is absolutely disgusting they are taking advantage of elderly people on a fixed income. Their are other locally owned business's that offer this same kind of service for half the price and actually do the service. Don't worry this message is being to corporate as well as the email address left in all of the other bad reviews. It should not be like this, my mother is not internet savvy and should be able to work with the local people at the location to correct her issue instead of the horrible rude expensive service she got. read more

Trash, I went in for a oil change cause I didn't have time to do it myself being that I had a long drive to the beach right after work that day. Everything seemed fine up untill 2 weeks later when I was driving and my engine started smoking, I checked my oil AND IT WAS EMPTY all the oil had seeped out of the oil pan and all over the under carriage of my car, also the oil filter wasn't even put on correctly and had scratches and dents in it from where they used the wrong tool to tighten it, my car has never leaked oil before yet they put on my receipt that I had an "excessive oil leak" which they never mentioned to me, I find that very suspicious, seeing that they were much more willing to bring up stuff in my car that didn't need to be replaced, I'm going to have to purchase new parts for my vehicle thanks to this location, I appreciate whoever messed up my car hope they have a great day read more

If you disregard this review and go to the Monroe NC Jiffy Lube, then stay with your car to insure work is completed properly and unnecessary work isn't performed without your consent. LADIES BEWARE, this is a location where they will take advantage of you. First time ever at a Jiffy Lube, I asked for the oil change, fluid top off, and vacuum. The guy came in carrying a filter with a bunch of stuff piled on top, just stood there and said I needed a filter. I asked him to clean it off and put back in car, he said he couldn't clean filter (against the law), I asked him to give it to me to clean and he stated it was against the law for me to clean it. Said it wouldn't go back in car and continued to just stand there. So, I let them put a new filter in at $42. Called back and asked to speak to manager, and manager said for me to come back next day for refund. Went back the next day for refund and the manager told the technician(and I use that term loosely) to go get the filter out of my car. I asked if he was going to put my old one back in and he said "no, we don't have it". So they were just going to leave my car without a filter. I was very upset as they knew I was on my way to Florida that day. Then it became an argument about the refund. The manager finally gave me half my money back. However, I should have not had to go through any of that, and they should have refunded the entire amount. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN....THEY ARE CROOKS AND LIARS!!!!!! read more

Waste of time and money! Against my better judgement I gave this location a chance to perform a coolant flush. Every possible thing went wrong. Car overheated on my way home, which the temp was fine before the flush. I was down almost a gallon of coolant. I topped it up with water. Car stopped overheating. They used a yellow coolant, not Dextron which I specifically asked for.. I ended up doing my own flush at home. To no surprise I pulled out all orange/Dextron Coolant from the Radiator and Engine. The only compartment that had yellow coolant was the reservoir tank.. That tells me that they did not perform a flush (properly)! The service manager would not even come out to talk to me upon leaving to say, "keep an eye on the temp gauge " and "bring it back in a couple of days so we could monitor the level of coolant, just in case it needs a top up". He refused to come and talk to me as he did not like the fact of me ( the customer) questioning the yellow coolant they were going to use. I must of hurt his ego!! There was another customer in the waiting room with me who started complaining about the prices they charge for a simple oil change! The regional manager contacted me after I emailed corporate office. He was just as useless as the management at the location. He wanted me to bring the vehicle back so he could personally do the service himself. Sorry, but if they could not do the service right the first time, what makes me think they would do it right the second?!?! Don't take your car here as they are a bunch of under educated hacks who do not care about your vehicles needs. They just care about your wallet $$$ !!! read more
