Then he explained in detail what was used on my vehicle on my last visit, asking if I needed any additional services. I went to waiting room, and the next tech mechanic went over what they were going to do, options, pricing. Next another Technician came to the counter, went over my services provided and went over the service sheet what was done, and shared extra oil knowledge about oil changes. I've been using different Jiffy Lube service center for years. But this Morgan Hill location topped other shops. I definitely will be returning here my next service needed. I would recommend this shop for your oil changes, windshield wipers replacement, air & oil filters, check batteries, tire rotations, etc. I give all tree Tech Mechanics five stars that assisted my service! read more

I'm always looking for a reason to give a business 5 stars. I wish I could for this business But.... Nope. The ONLY reason I am giving any stars to this facility is because the people changing my oil were very professional and courteous. They would have had 5 stars if it hadn't been for the dishonest employee at the register. I'm going to preface this by saying this is probably one of Jiffy Lubes protocol for swaying customers to pay more, and this employee is probably doing what he is told to do to keep his job... if not... he's doing it for sales numbers, both of which you must be watchful for before you walk into this dishonest business. I walked away from Big O tires today because they tried upselling me into a synthetic oil change when I had prepaid for a basic standard oil change... they claimed they didn't stock the oil so I left and found Jiffy Lube. I got their coupon for $15 off a basic oil change which made it a better value than the $59 plus change standard price. I get there and am greeted with professionalism. I tell the mechanics what I want and go inside. Then the guy at the counter takes my info and informs me they don't stock standard oil (ummm....you are an oil change facility!!!). Then he keeps trying to sell me synthetic for a lot more money. I stood my ground and said NO I want what I asked for. I don't want synthetic oil. I'm told they don't have it. A ton of pressure to pay more. I said no that I wanted my keys I was leaving. I look out and the guys were working on my car. Again, I tell the guy I want to leave. He tells me not to worry about it he would figure it out. Then the mechanic comes in and asks me if I decided what kind of oil I want. I tell him to ask the guy at the counter. The guy leans over and whispers to him so he thinks I can't hear.... But I'm not stupid. About 10 min later I'm told my car is ready. I ask what kind of oil they used and I'm told they used regular standard motor oil like I asked for. (Are you surprised?!?! I'm not.) The guy at the counter says.... "Well we had a very little bit left in ..." He was totally lying to me from the beginning trying to upsell me on synthetic oil. Thankful for my dad who taught me what to watch out for at mechanics. Watch out for the guy at the counter. This place tells upselling lies with a total poker face and doesn't care when they are caught. This must be standard protocol to carry such lying to customers because they don't flinch when they are caught. No integrity. I won't go back here again. I don't recommend it. The service in the bays was good. The person at the counter needs some lessons in honesty. I would have given it zero stars if it hadn't been for the guys working on my car. They deserved 5 stars. I've been faithfully going to this location 3-4 times a year since 2018 for tire rotation service on my Tesla vehicle. Unfortunately, they declined to service the car this morning, citing the wheel covers as a concern because the extra time it might take to remove them, and the possibility of breakage. Although I generally understand and respect a businesses right to decline service, I find this particular situation to be a solvable problem. I would've happily removed the covers myself, paid a surcharge, and/or even signed a damage waiver, but neither was offered. read more

I loved this place before it chanaged ownership and now its cra@. I don't recommend anyone going to this place as they filled my oil way too much and it leaked all over my driveway and tires. I took it back two times and they said it was leaking from my axle! I took it to my mechanic and he put it on the rack and said nothing was wrong with my car! He also told me never to go to fast oil change places because they are not trained. I recommend George's auto because they are experienced, trustworthy and super nice. read more

Apparently they don't like to work on Hondas at this establishment. I had an Accord they previously refused to work on because of the skid plate screws and now for my Civic they said they would do it but they would be removing the skid plate and wouldn't put it back on... then they try to sell me on the fact you don't really need it and my engine is already dirty. I think not. Plus there's 5 employees there doing nothing and not a single other car in either bay. Seems like you're in the wrong business if you can't do proper work on some of the most common cars on the road. Not sure if they pull this crap with other models of cars but I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with this place. read more

My son came in for a simple oil change. They, of course, tried to upsell him to replace the air filter and the cabin air filter. He said no. They did it anyway and charged him $230. When his mom called to complain they denied it saying he approved. This isn't true one bit. I checked to see if the filters were actually replaced and they were. However the cabin air filter wasn't the right size and they smashed it in to fit. This is the caliber of quality you get at Jiffy lube, and the lack of integrity. Be forewarned. read more

My son brought his car for an oil change. They said it had an oversized oil plug but they could still do the service. 5 mins later they come back in and say they can't do the service. My son leaves and pulls into our driveway and oil is poring out of the oil filter. They crushed the filter and cracked it trying to remove it and then let him leave with an oil filter they damaged. Brought my Audi A3 to get a standard oil change and was blown away by prices, at Audi dealership it cost $60 for oil change and inspection, after leaving here I was out $120+ then I find out the damaged my vehicle and didn't say a word. I had my fluids checked 3 days before getting my oil changed here then got my tires rotated a week after my business trip ended. That's when my Audi rep informed me of the broken piece. Good employees with a good attitude make all the difference in the world! When I went on Wednesday, 5/3/2023, the young man who waited on me could not have been colder or more unwelcoming. He acted like he was doing me a favor to wait on me. I don't know if he just doesn't like women, or if he doesn't like people over the age of 25 - who knows what his problems is! AND HE CHARGED ME TWICE FOR THE SAME OIL CHANGE SERVICE!! So not only did he have a bad attitude - he's inept at his job. I am having to dispute the duplicate charge with my credit card company. He didn't even mention to me that my coolant was low which I didn't discover until later, after reviewing the work order. SO I HAD TO GO BACK THE NEXT DAY, because, upon reading the service order of the work performed, it said that my "coolent was low" and the dis-interested employee did not mention this to me or address it in any form. WHEN I WENT BACK ON THURSDAY, 5/4/2023 - I was greeted warmly and attentively by SEVERAL employees - all eager to assist. It was like night and day. These gentlemen could not have been nicer in apologizing that the other guy didn't address the low coolent issue. They let me go in front of the other customers AND topped off my coolent and no additional charge. I absolutely LOVED these fine, young men. They were so nice and so accommodating. Really treated me very well. It seemed like a completely different shop on the second day I wondered if I crossed into a parallel universe and got upgraded the second time around. Anyway - I'm still disputing the DUPLICATE charge, so I can't give a 5 star review. The crew on 5/4/2023 deserve kudos. The guy on 5/3/2023 should be fired. He needs to find his true calling. First thing when pulling in they tried the scam with the cab air filter. Then quoted an old change and tire rotation for $170 ~ $50 more than it should be. Immediately told them I was taking it elsewhere. Don't trust your car to a shop that has a policy to scam you first thing in the door. read more

Changed my oil but didn't turn off the light neither. Waiting 35 minutes just to tell me they didn't have the oil filter for my car than told me to go get one and they would hold my spot took me less than 10 minutes to get it and when I got back waited another 25 minutes just for them to take a break when my car pulled up to the spot for the oil change. We have now brought 2 vehicles in and had issues with both. Be very careful if you choose to bring your vehicle here for an oil change. The first vehicle we brought was a 2006 minivan and we asked for a tire rotation along with the oil change. When we drove home afterwards, the steering wheel was crooked. We brought it back, and our options were to put the tires back in the original positions or take it somewhere else for an alignment, because they don't do those. What? Then, you should communicate that up front! The second vehicle was my son's Jeep. It started dripping oil on our driveway after the oil change. Turns out, they neglected to put the cap back on! My son took his Jeep to work in Santa Clara for 2 days without the cap on, and is probably lucky he didn't run out of oil! read more

Adrian, Josue and the rest of the crew at Jiffy Lube were AWESOME and so helpful today (as I'm sure they are everyday.) They topped off ALL of my fluids, checked my air filter and even put air in my tires all for no charge!! (since I got an oil change from them less than 3 months ago). Adrian was a very effective communicator and he interacted with me, kept me updated and made sure that all of our questions were answered. It was reassuring to know the wait time and what was going on etc. Josue was so patient and clear/articulate as he guided and directed me in steering my car into and out of the work area. I was so nervous that I was not on the track, but Josue remained calm and his demeanor put me at ease as well All of the staff were kind and courteous and treated me with respect...even though they knew that I was not a (current) paying customer. I normally go to the Jiffy Lube in Gilroy but yesterday I needed to go to Morgan Hill so I decided to get my oil changed here instead. There were a few cars ahead of me so I asked how long it would be and I was told about 30 minutes. So I dropped my car off and walked over to Home Depot nearby to kill some time. By the time I got back my car was in the shop and was already about done with the oil change. So my car was done in the time frame they quoted. When I got in the car I noticed that the floor had been vacuumed and the windows washed. Gilroy never does this! In fact I looked at an old Gilroy receipt and next to floors vacuumed it says, "refused". I didn't refuse to have my floors vacuumed. They're just too lazy to do it in Gilroy. I'll be going to the Morgan Hill Jiffy Lube from now on instead. read more
