If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Big "tough guy" named Mike is an absolute jerk. Went in for an inspection, came out with wires hanging all over my pedals and my airbag light on! I came out with more problems than when I went in. Oh, and there's only 2 guys that work there, the drill sergeant, Mike, and I think just another warm body. DO NOT COME HERE NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE! I had to call customer service and drive off with my airbag light on after getting screamed at in front of my 3 year old by Mike. Don't come here!!! They charged me $10 to take my plate covers off!!! They said I could do it myself, so I walked out into shop and they said to take them off. I asked for a screwdriver and they refused to let me use one! " we don't lend tools" they said. Big joke to them. They know that nobody carries a screwdriver in their vehicle so they knew they'd get the damn $10 from me. The lady in the front was very nice and clearly felt bad, but come one guys in the shop....stop "screwing" people!! I used to bring my vehicles there, now I'll tell this story to my hundreds of friends here in nashua and advise them against using Jiffy Lube for anything!! Place is full of a bunch of hacks that don't even know the state inspection laws. If you bring your car here, expect it to fail inspection for no reason. They will find something that makes no sense. My car failed inspection for a chip in the windshield that's been there for 4 years. NH inspection law says I can have a chip as long as it is not a through to the interior. and my headlights were restored last year but weren't clean enough to pass inspection. Jiffy Lube is not jiffy! Nor are they considerate of a customer's time or appear to understand multitasking! I waited 40' for a 5' minute reinspect that didn't even require the inspection bay. I had to come back for reinspection of my emergency bake - not a problem it was a good catch. The reinspect took under 5 minutes, a 15 second test to set and release the emergency brake outside the bay and under 4 minutes to add an update to DOT inspection system, place a new sticker and print a receipt. However, the first time I came back at 5:20 p.m. when inspections were open the guy said he was doing his last inspection of the day, come back. Second visit, inspector says they work strictly on a first come first serve basis, no prioritization for a reinspect even for one this quick. With open bays to either side they did a drop off car first and even did an oil change on it in the inspection bay. No appointments and no common sense, this place is my last choice. read more

I've had my 3 vehicles serviced here for over five years. Last time I came in and wanted service to include tire rotation they told me the lift was broke and they couldn't do the rotation. This time they told me they don't do rotations and never have. When I said I have been getting that service here for years the attendant claimed he has been here for 5 years and never done that service. So either he is a lier who doesn't want to do the work or they have been charging me for years for a service they didn't perform. either way...unacceptable; like their attitude. Brought vehicle in for inspection. They found some minor things including the wheels were barely 1/2" outside the wheel well. Went home and was back in 40 minutes with everything fixed. While sitting in front waiting the inspector saw me and went on a 20 minute break. Then after pulling vehicle in proceeded to walk around BS'ing for more. I went there for a State Inspection and was told my car needed rear brakes and calipers. ($615) After they finished service and I picked up the car the brakes where not working? Took the car back and they tried to bleed the lines but still didn't work right. They tried to say it maybe something else but not sure. So I took the car to the dealer which immediately noticed that the calipers where installed in reserve? Right was on the left and left on the right. They fixed the problem for $350. Jiffy Lube manager said he was sorry but would only pay for the second bill. This place put a State Inspection sticker on a car with NO Brakes! They are not trained to work on cars should not be allowed to do Inspections Just stick to changing oil. My kids could have gotten killed driving this car with the shabby work they preformed. BEWARE !!! NOT PROPERLY TRAINED Brought my car for an inspection sticker. I was told the car would not pass due to a small bump in the side wall of all the tires ( tires were new). I tried explaining that that was normal and from the manufacturing process, they would not listen and insisted that I needed tires. Left and went to a tire shop had the tires checked, they were fine and small bumps were normal, and recieved an inspection sticker. I spoke with the owner of jiffy lube the next day and he apologized for the issue and told me that he would refund my money. Never received my refund or heard from them again. If I could give no rating I would. This place is awful, it was great when they had a different manager and team there. I went in and during my service and the entire team including the manager stopped what they were doing and and ate pizza and drank sodas. It was is if I wasn't there waiting or that my car was left with the doors open and on the service station. They didn't wash their hands before eating or after and instead touched the inside of my car with their pizza hands. I even took pictures of all of them eating, however I will not post them here since that would be just a complete jerk move for me to do. The inside of my car also wasn't vacuumed and they did not clean my windows, which I thought was standard at Jiffy Lube or maybe this was a nice special they had the other 8 times I came here. One employee looked to have vacuumed, but indeed did not. I had to stare at all of them from the inside of the waiting room window to see how appalled I was. The manager there didn't have much to say when I complained while his homeboys looked at us. The whole team there is the D squad compared to the team they had there previously with the other manager. Never written a yelp review but this place was so bad it definitely deserves one! Needed an oil change & had a headlight out. After they finished service and I was being checked out, they realized they forgot to do one of two things I asked. Had to pull the car back in to change the headlight... which took 45 minutes. Two weeks later, my car fails inspection because somehow they misaligned both headlights. Great work guys! Cost me an additional $80 to fix their mistakes. Please don't go here. read more

My wife had them change the oil. When they gave her the car back the 2 covers under the engine came off on the highway on the way home. I had my car in same day for oil change. I had 6000 miles on synthetic oil that didn't need changed until 10000 miles. A fact they chose not to tell me until AFTER they changed it and charged me. DISHONEST Shoddy practices. There is a reason why this place has such a low rating. Believe it . I didn't , went there 3 times kept giving them a chance but my mistake every single time. There is one dude in particular who is a total jerk he should not be working there. Went there for inspection , told me my suspension failed but they can do the service. Something didn't sit right as we imported the vehicle, everything was checked prior and it passed safety on import. We went to another mechanic to tell them to fix the suspension that we were told there was something wrong with it. Mechanic looked it over and said no everything is fine. Went back to jiffy lube with this report to ask what's up and do a reinspect. The guy went on a tangent, pretty much yelling from the start. That he stands by this and that if he sees our car with a sticker he will report it Not only are they not helpful they will make things more difficult on you. So please pick a different location. My other 2 experiences were just terrible service . I joked that I have to go there 3 times to actually get the thing I want done . Simply put, they hate working and they want to scam you. read more

This place is the worst and the mechanics seems to know nothing about cars. I had taken my car to fix the problem causing the engine service soon indicator that showed up on my dashboard. Initially using the scanner they predicted it is the spark plugs causing the problem and charged me $320 but after that was done still it didn't work then they suggested it maybe due to one of the fuel injector being bad and asked me $500 to replace all 4 of them. So they kept on guessing what the problem could be and they were not sure it may work or not. So I walked away and I fixed it for $30 in some other place who really knows about cars. Don't take your car here! I took my car for the regular oil change, first time. When I was driving home, I heard loud rattling noise from the underneath, and then something blown away. It turned out it was a hard plastic cover to protect the inside mechanical. It could have caused a major accident on the highway. The rest of the half cover got loose, and I cannot drive any faster than 35 mph. I need to being it to the shop to fix it. I don't think this is by careless mistake, but if it was, it is actually worse (lol) so dumb. read more

after going to jiffy lube for many years now, i must express my dissapointment. my cadillac went in for inspection on june 15th. i go in june because i winter in florida. upon returing this year my battery was dead. as a result my obd inspection failed. jiffy lube put a 60 day temporary inspection sticker on it as required by n.h. law. the inspection report said 60 days. the young man said bring it back before the temp runs out and we will put on a regular sticker for no charge and put some miles on the car for a good obd reading. i brought my car in today within the time frame and before the temp sticker expired and they said they would have to charge me 50.00 for reinspecting the car. this is not what they told me previously. when i questioned the young man he said its because over 30 days has passed. i feel although i'm elderly i'm not stupid. i was taken avantage of. i did not want to become confrontational as there were many customers in the waiting area. i paid the 50.00 and left very upset! my car was in the bay for less than 4 minutes and no reinsection ever took place. this will leave me very upset for many days to come. had they simply told me to come back within a month, i would have done so, although i'm not sure 30 days or 39 days makes any differance. the car did pass the obd test as was expected. i have never been treated like that before at this location. read more

I'm only awarding one star because there's no way to post zero. SHORT VERSION: This place WILL scam you. Especially if you're a woman there by yourself. LONGER VERSION: I have taken my car here several times and have always had a great experience. I felt like the employees were helpful and professional. However, three weeks ago I brought my 2014 Toyota Corolla in for a state inspection. I was told my car did not pass inspection because the rotors needed to be replaced, which was going to cost $220. Not knowing any better myself, I would have paid to have the work done, but unfortunately I couldn't afford it at the time so I told them I would come back the next week. I called my dad to tell him about the inspection and he told me there was no way that a two year car with 41,000 miles shouldn't have anything wrong with the rotors. Yesterday I got my car inspected again elsewhere for a second opinion and my car passed inspection. I told them that Jiffy Lube had failed my rotors and the place I went to today said they didn't understand why they said that, because the rotors were totally fine. ADDITIONALLY, my brother's car was once brought here and was told the same thing; that the rotors needed to be replaced. He brought it to the dealership, who proceeded to tell him that he "had no idea what Jiffy Lube was talking about." This place has officially lost my trust and my business. And I will make sure that as many people as possible know why. read more

I took my car here this week for a state inspection and they told me that my tire was passable but they were going to fail it. they also said I need a new break line and breaks. the breaks were the only thing i thought would need to be fixed. I wouldn't let them touch it. they started to haggle the price with me and I left. failed the inspection went some where else and all I needed was break pads. Go pretty much anywhere else. Took my car in for an inspection and tire roation before a long car ride. When I left, car was making squeaking noises and shaking a bit. Took it back and was told it was "no big deal, probably a suspension or alignment issue, but my suspension was inspected and it wasn't anything major." After driving to NY and back, took it in for an alignment at a trustworthy place and found out I had a tire rod that was 90% of the way snapped and a snapped sway bar. If my tire rod would have failed during highspeed highway driving both myself and my wife would have died in a firey car wreck. I called to tell them this and they assured me they would "investigate" and call me back. This was 5 weeks ago. read more

Was there in June 2016 for an oil change and tire rotation. They did not have the right lug nut socket and stripped at least one (might have been two, hard for me to see from the waiting room) lug nut. Had to wait for someone to show up with the right socket and replacement lug nut(s). The entire thing should've taken 20mins, but took over 1.5hrs. All the while, I could not get a clear answer on what was going on and why things were taking so long. Against my better judgement, went back today (9/25/2016) for same service since I did not have a lot of time and they were located close to other errands I needed to run. Before they started I asked them if they still had the correct lug nut socket and they confirmed. I left and came back about 45mins later and the car was just being finished. When I got home I popped the hood to refill windshield washer fluid (which they noted as added on my sheet but clearly was not) and noticed my oil filter hadn't been changed. How do I know - I marked it after the last service. Won't be going back to this location except to get a new oil filter replacement. 10/10/2016 update: I reported this issue to Jiffy Lube corporate and pointed them to this review. I was contacted by the corporate office as well as the franchise to address the issue. I went back a week later and they installed a new oil filter. They were willing to perform the entire service over again, but I didn't see a need to waste the oil, so I told them installation of the new oil filter would be sufficient. I was glad that Jiffy Lube was responsive to this particular issue. I wonder if they are enacting any new processes to ensure this doesn't occur again, as well as ensure that the other items on the service checklist are actually performed. read more

I'd been going to another respectable fast oil change service for years, and on the day I went for an inspection there was a long line, so I went to Jiffy Lube instead. I'm glad I did. I had a very short wait, THREE mechanics climbed out from somewhere and went through my truck in less than 20 minutes. They didn't find anything wrong, but found that my oil and filter needed changing and that my air filter was ready for a change (I saw it, and it was). They explained everything to me without being pushy salesmen about it. I sat in a comfortable waiting room with coffee and TV and was able to watch through the windows everything they were doing. The bill was very reasonable. I'll definitely go back. Highly recommended. read more

This is my first Yelp review but I felt the need to inform people about this terrible business. Sorry for the lengthy review but I wanted to give you the entire story of my experience with these guys. I've been very tolerant but I am done! I'd rather get a root canal than visit this place again! ZERO stars should be an option! Let me elaborate. I've been going here practically since it opened and there have been little issues off and on since they opened a few years back. Both my wife and I got our oil changed here and when we did we also got tires rotated. Our bills were always north of $100 due to our Audi's requiring 8-9.5 quarts of synthetic oil. The first minor issue was my 2005 Audi A8, they couldn't find the oil filter and had to call Audi and ask where it was. The second minor issue was on my 2008 Audi A6. My plastic lug caps disappeared after an oil change and tire rotation. I didn't notice them for about a week and by then I figured I'll just buy new ones as they weren't that expensive. $25 for all 25 not too bad. The third Minor Issue was my wife's 2008 Audi A8 when parking the car in our driveway at home, oil leaking out of the drain plug. The mechanic said he must have split the gasket when tightening the drain plug and replaced it. The fourth minor issue was every time we took the 2008 A8 in there was never an oil filter in stock so we had to wait for someone to drive to a parts store and buy a filter for the car which made the "Jiffy" part of the oil change a joke, well over an hour when all was said and done. The fifth minor issue was when I decided to buy 2 oil filters, one for my wife's 2008 A8 and one for my 2012 A8 and keep them in the car so we didn't have to wait for someone to go get one. When my wife handed the filter to the manager, he took $2.00 off the bill for a $22.00 oil filter! The sixth and final straw that broke the camels back. 2 days after my wife got her oil change I'm following her on RT3 in Pepperell MA and there's sparks flying out from under her car. I call her on her cell and have her pull over and the splash guard that is under all Audi's is dragging on the ground. I managed to at night and in the dark, put a wire tie on it to get it off the ground so we could get it home. Turns out all the hardware that held it up wasn't there any more. So I went to Audi and spent $60 for the hardware needed to put the splash pan back up and took the car back to Jiffy Lube. The put the pan up properly and I asked who was going to pay for the hardware? They have done all the oil changes on this car since we've owned it so they were the ones that didn't put the hardware back on properly. The Manager "Manny" said to give him the bill and he'd give it to the district manager and he'd call me within a couple of days. A week goes buy, nothing so I go on their web site and complain. That day I get a voicemail from the district manager named Steve. Steve was very pleasant and accommodating saying he would pay for the hardware and even the oil change if I send him the receipts. So I send him the receipts and got a response from him right a way to expect the check in 10 business days. That was May 5th, it is now June 6th and still no check. I sent him a text on May 31st, and never got a response, I sent him an email on June 3rd and got no response. Here it is June 6th and I haven't heard from him so this my friends is why the YELP review. Not only do they have incompetent technicians, they have incompetent managers and incompetent District Managers! We have spent thousands of dollars at this Jiffy Lube facility since both my wife and I travel in excess of 30,000 miles per year. read more

Awesome! Came in last week for an oil change, went on vacation and came home to an oil filled garage. Normally I would be livid, but they were fabulous! Jeff got me right in and he and manager, Lester, took care of everything even though they were closing. Sent an employee to get epoxy and fixed my oil pan. AND gave me an oil change with their premium oil. Then they added a complimentary transmission flush ($120 value). Lester even offered to send the guys to my home the next day to clean my garage. They turned a poor situation into the BEST experience I have ever had at any garage anywhere. Thet go above and beyond!!! read more

We got Totally got ripped off by these guys! We tried them with a $20.15 coupon for their "Signature Service Oil Change" in hand. They asked what kind of oil we preferred, and when asked which oil came with the coupon, they said all the oil choices came with the coupon, and just pick which ever one you like. We selected the 50-50 oil. At check-out, the bill was DOUBLE the $20. coupon price, and when asked why, the response was that we selected a higher priced oil, so they took off the "$16.84 savings" that the coupon would have saved us over the lower priced oil, instead. Objections were raised to that asinine answer, because we specifically ASKED which oil came with the coupon, and they had a canned speech about how the coupon DOES work with all 3 levels of oil, but it just works as a -$16.84 coupon, NOT as a $20.15 "price" coupon. Well, THAT'S a LOAD! Still fuming when we got home, so called to complain, but were referred to the Corporate offices. I called them, but after 23 minutes on hold just to get to an actual person, I was told that each franchise is individually owned, and I need to speak to the Manager, since corporate has nothing to do with coupons, or individual stores. I called the local store to speak to the manager, who was not there, and was given yet another speech about the coupon being used as a $16.84 OFF coupon, instead of the $20.15 PRICE coupon that is actually IS! At that point, it became clear to me that everyone there KNOWS this is a scam, and all have a well rehearsed speech about the dollars saved coupon, as opposed to the reduced price coupon, and it was all a waste of time to continue chasing my tail. OK, they got me, and I hope they choke on it. Don't go to the Jiffy Lube on "620 Amherst St, Nashua, NH". They will flat out LIE to you about the oil prices, and then give you their well rehearsed speech about how YOU didn't understand the coupon - even when their Guy TOLD you it didn't matter which oil you chose! Very surprised with the negative reviews. This was my first time here, so maybe it is under new management since then. Just had my car inspected here this morning. Very friendly staff. I know it is a first come first serve basis to have a service done, but was glad I only had to wait a few minutes before my car was being looked at. Sat in the clean waiting room and had a coffee. A staff member came in to ask if I had my tires rotated recently, I had not and knew I needed them done so I agreed and kindly enough they gave me $10 off the tire rotation service. An added bonus: My front fender had been hanging since a few bolts had popped out last winter and they zip-tied it back together for me! Run away as fast as you can. Do not let these guys touch your vehicle! Took 2015 Subary Legacy in for an oil change. Noticed oil all over my driveway, where I usually park. Noticed oil dripping from the drain plug so I took it back to this shop. They said that the sealing washer was bad and that they replaced it. Oil continued to drip so I took the car to the dealer because I had lost trust in this Jiffy Lube shop. The Subaru tech came to me to show me the problem. The washer they supposedly replaced was two sizes too big for the drain plug. A quarter of the washer wasn't even making contact with the bolt! The dealer replaced the washer with the appropriately sized one and guess what? No oil leak! DO NOT trust these high school dropouts to lay hands on your expensive vehicle. Went to this location, as I have several times in previous years, to have my vehicle inspected. There were no customers in the lot, no cars in the service bays, and three employees twiddling their collective thumbs. I was turned away for an inspection because "they didn't have enough people on duty." I left, went grocery shopping, and returned for a second attempt an hour later. Same situation. Turned away again, because "if they were busy inspecting my car and other people pulled in there would be 'only two guys' to help." When I drove by Jiffy Lube on the way home from getting my car inspected elsewhere, there were still no customers, and three "employees" still hanging around doing nothing. All the guys there are always extremely helpful, honest and the services they offer have been greatly extended from what they formerly offered. . I received a quote from the dealership to fix my car and Jiffy Lube was only 1/4 of the price!! Since their services have a two year warranty on them they save me a bunch... NEVER go to this Jiffy Lube for service. This is store # 3438 on Amherst St in Nashua NH. They are a fraudulent store. I took my car in for a state inspection, they inspected (passed), took my money and told me they were out of stickers. Told me to come back the next day, which I did, no stickers. Went back a third time and the owner through my husband out. No sticker, no refund! Owner told us to "bring it on" when we said our lawyer would be calling. Brought the car to Valvoline....excellent service. At that point, I needed the car inspected to be legal. Worst experience ever at Jiffy Lube and will pursue legal action. read more
