I went to get my car oil changed and was immediately greeted. I liked that! I was escorted into the waiting room..but I felt pressured to get more upgrades..I felt like I was making bad choices. I started with $44.95 and ended with $71...ugh!! Way out of my budget. They told me I needed brakes but I just had them done... then they said well maybe next time.. Right when I walked up I was spoken to like I was an idiot. I'm not paying you to patronize me. I came in for an oil change service. The workers were polite and welcoming. They checked several systems to make sure they were functioning/add any necessary fluids, and they even vacuumed my floors. The front room where you wait was a little dirty. Other than that- efficient and helpful. read more

So I was a little upset about having to get a oil change more upset about paying for it. The service here has changed my mind. They clean your windows , vacuum out your car, and they don't try to tell you a million things that's wrong with your car. They've offered me coffee and started to work on my car immediately. I am pretty upset and unless told otherwise, I will not return to this place. I was told I could only use synthetic oil in my car. I should've insisted on conventional oil but I accepted what I was told. My fault. I've been doing some research since going this morning and noticed that conventional oil would have been just fine. I prepaid with a Groupon. I then paid an additional cost to have 1/2 synthetic and 1/2 conventional oil put in. Which should've been a red flag for me: why would 1/2 conventional oil be ok but not full conventional? I trusted the professionals more than I should have, it appears. I will definitely ask questions going forward and continue to get regular oil. I will also go elsewhere from now on. I don't like being duped, even 50% (the other 50% was my fault for not being more inquisitive). read more

Something has changed with this place. They used to have friendly, conversational, informative, and helpful staff. Today the service I received was quite the opposite. I went to get an oil change and wasn't even greeted by the staff when I arrived. I was talked down to when I told them I just wanted a conventional oil change (not high-mileage). They did the bare minimum to get the job done. Usually they'll vacuum the floors, fill up the air in the tires, clean the windows, and give a sticker telling me when I need to get my next oil change, but today they did none of that. The best word to describe the service I received is lazy. They asked at one point if I wanted more anti-freeze because it was a little low, I told him sure and when I checked out was alarmed when my total was about $15 more than it usually is. When I asked what the additional cost was they informed me that it was the anti-freeze. They never told me this would've been an additional charge whereas they normally walk me through the exact price of anything before just making the decision without a full explanation. If you're looking for a lousy experience and to be treated like an inconvenience, this is the place for you! If you're expecting the usual first-class service that Jiffy Lube offers, spend an extra 15 minutes in the car and drive to Brentwood instead. You will not find it here. read more

I was tired of taking my car in for an oil change and getting pressured to go ahead and have this or that fixed and oh yeah...by the way...you really need this or that done, too. Oil. Change. In. Out. No pressured hassle of nonsense. That's what I want. Sure. You see the car is on fire...tell me...and I'll approve putting it out. Otherwise. Oil. Change. Go. That's what I got yesterday! And I appreciated it! Tim was cool and shot me straight and when i said just the oil today..."all good my man". Coffee was good. And I was able to pull up a coupon on my phone and use it right away. I went in yesterday for an oil change after the place next door was closed. The convenience and speed was great. People were very friendly. But I basically got scammed with their up scaling. They convinced me I needed a new air filter on our car, along with many other things, but I finally agreed to the new air filter. Then when I got home my husband told me he had just put a new air filter in two months ago and they are just trying to get more money out of you. I do not appreciate that and my advice to anyone who goes here is to go in and stick to only what you went in to get and don't trust their "suggestions" because they are only in their best interest and not yours. read more

We are here on vacation in Nashville and our oil change light came on, as well as a code saying we needed an air filter change. We took our car over to this Jiffy Lube and were very satisfied with our experience. The service was quick and the workers were pleasant and professional. They didn't try to upsell us anything and they even told us that our current air filter was fine until the next oil change! They also gladly accepted a $5 off coupon we found online. Came here for an oil change but they ended up causing a bigger problem. During my oil change they said my car need plug replacements(?) took it in a week later to get the so-called plugs replaced and with in 2/3 days the check engine light came on took it back and instead of checking the car and fixing the problem they just turned off the light. Needless to say my car was / is not ok other lights have now come on and when I went back to them they sent me over to firestone to get it check because they didn't know what was wrong! The manager of this JL has no ethics. I came in to get a second opinion for a rumbling sound on my front end. I had just taken it to Budget Brakes where I was told that I needed a new hub bearing assembly that would cost me around $350. The manager at JL assured me that the hub bearing was not the problem and sold me $309 of brake pads and rotors. I left the shop (1.5 hours later) and quickly felt the rumbling again. When I brought it back and spoke to the manager he told me that it MUST be the hub bearing then. REALLY? He then backpedaled on what he said before, refusing to give me any money back. Found out by the end that JL does not do hub bearing replacements, so he basically tricked me into paying for what they could do, not what I needed. Do not give this business your money. Even for simple oil changes. read more

Not knowing the "ends and outs" of cars, I appreciate the fact I can bring my car in and feel comfortable. The lady behind the desk told me she does not work off commission so the "pressure sale" is not an issue. They do recommend different services or show you when a filter needs changing etc... but it's not "shoved down your throat" as I have experienced at other places. Fast and efficient service. I got the groupon I found online and decided to give it a try. I got the synthetic blend so I had to pay about $30 more. Total was about $75 for a synthetic blend oil change, a tire rotation, and RainX on my windshield. They also vacuum the inside of your car for you! Very friendly workers. I had a big 1-gallon oil bottle, and she did look up the car to see how much my car takes.
