I came in and had an oil change last week, they didn't have a mechanic in to do my brakes, that day, but said specifically it would be $369 for brake pads, rotors, and labor for my front brakes. Today I come in and the mechanic says it's $450? Interesting way to do it, maybe the first guy was just wrong on the price...didn't leave a good taste in my mouth tho. Be wary of the bait and switch here. Bought the most expensive Groupon offered ($65) that said it was a substantial savings to find that it was really no savings at all and they charged us an extra $40, so the entire service ended up costing about %119. Don't be fooled by the claim of savings--that's how they get you in the door and then they jack up the price. Plus, as soon as we tried to drive off the lot our car wouldn't start! Abysmal customer service. Jiffy Lube is more concerned with covering their ass than actually helping you. I will never vist one again. I went in for a synthetic oil change. Everyone was friendly and I drove away happy. But about a block away, I heard a loud TIK-TIK-TIK-TIK... from the front left tire. I pulled over and found a large screw and washer puncturing the tire. Clearly, they had dropped something on the shop floor and driven my car over it. I drove back to see if Jiffy Lube could help me. But it quickly became clear they didn't care about me nor could they give me a refund until I talked to their corporate headquarters. The only help the manager offered is to pass my information along to corporate customer service. He never once apologized or took responsibility for their mistake. He explained there was little chance of them compensating for the damage, and zero chance of getting the oil change refunded because corporate would argue I must have run over the screw once I left. I understand that people mess up sometimes - that's not my problem. The fact that they didn't even have the decency to admit their mistake & apologize or help me to get my car repaired for the damage they did is inexcusable. I had a terrible experience at this location yesterday when bringing my 2008 Acura TL in for an oil change, and I will never return to Jiffy Lube again. First, upon arrival, they waved me forward and rushed me out of the car uncomfortably fast to get my car inside immediately to make it difficult to leave once reviewing pricing and services. After starting work, they informed me that my car required the more expensive full synthetic oil (not true) and that this was the same oil that I selected last time at another Jiffy Lube (also not true per my receipt from them). Their recommended fully synthetic oil change service was shown as $90 at the counter, which is extremely high for an oil change and almost double what another local Jiffy Lube charged me just last year in 2019 ($50) for the exact same service. I told them I only needed the basic oil change, which still ran $80 to be paid once service completed. Upon sitting down and finding a Jiffy Lube coupon online on my phone on Jiffy Lube's primary website for $15 off of any oil change service that showed valid for any Jiffy Lube location, I brought this to the counter. The counter clerk typed in the coupon code which brought an error on his screen which he said "always happens" and "is invalid" for his own company's promoted and branded coupon!! I had to speak to the manager to get the coupon to be honored. In addition to the oil, the desk clerk mentioned that my cabin air filter is "missing" asking if I would like to pay for one to be installed. I was hesitant to believe this and asked if he could show me the location of the missing filter on the car. At the car, he unhinged the glove box and said "oh, it looks like your car doesn't have a cabin air filter" even though it does have one and he just didn't know how to find it! I'm certain he would have charged me for it and done nothing had I said "ok" at the counter. To top all of that off, I noticed on my receipt that they put 0W-20 grade oil into my car, which is wrong as my car takes 5W-20 (used at previous Jiffy Lube service and recommended by my car's manufacturers manual). They either can't keep the record straight or just don't pay attention. I had not been to a Jiffy Lube in awhile, so I thought I would try them again hoping the service had improved. My experience yesterday helped me confirm that it has not. They try to bamboozle you and make you pay for stuff you don't need. There's no telling how many people they have fooled over the years and how much $ they have "stolen" from friendly paying customers. Do not go to Jiffy Lube or deal with them in any way. I bet a lot of people come here because they have a groupon (because the normal prices are a little bit on the higher side compared with the competition). The gist is this: Yes they are super friendly and try to be super helpful... and YES... they are super quick (like 10-15 minutes for oil change, rotation, and rain ex treatment. HOWEVER... this is essentially the j/v team of oil changes... What I mean by that is that quality control isn't exactly the best. I been here 2 times and there was some minor mechanical detail that wasn't taken care of (AKA: something wasn't tightened enough and etc. - no real threat to my car but caused a warning light to come up). read more

I went in for an oil change and I drive a 2018 VW Passat and it ended up costing me $120, which is absurd. They tried to up-sell me on European synthetic oil which just about every place does which is understandable. However, whenever I told them to put whatever the cheapest 5W-40 oil they have in it despite what is "recommended in their system", they said 5w-40 is only a European synthetic oil and would be even more expensive than their recommendation, which is just a lie. I believe they did this since I'm only 21 and they think I'd be easy to sell and have no idea what I'm talking about. I argued with them for several minutes but they wouldn't budge and wouldn't put the regular 5w-40 oil in my car so I ended up getting ripped off. And the $120 was WITH a student discount. read more

Don't get your breaks done here!! I've had multiple oil changes that were expensive, but fine. But I got my front breaks replaced here recently and now they make a horrible squeak sound when the breaks are engaged AND an awful rattling sound you can hear from down the street when they aren't engaged. I took it back asking them to fix it and they were annoyed and told me nothing was wrong. On top of that I also payed for a tire rotation and new wiper blades that they didn't do/replace. This is my preferred station for an oil change in Nashville. They have pretty decent prices and it's couldn't possibly be in a more convenient location. However it is still a Jiffy Lube, which means lots of hidden fees and trick expenses if you don't pay attention. A few weeks ago I went to my favorite Jiffy Lube while visiting Nashville as I do from time to time. I went through the normal procedures, and sat in the waiting room until the service men called me to do the little inspection they like to do with the guests. This "inspection's" real purpose of course is to scare you into thinking there's something potentially wrong with your car. Since I've gone through the motions with these guys many times in the past, I pretty much said no to everything until I heard the something about an "Cabin Air Filter" option. So what is a Cabin Air Filter? According to the Jiffy Guy, "it's the filtering element in the climate control system in your passenger cabin. It helps remove dust, smoke and other stuff from the air you're breathing in from outside." What's the difference between that and the AC Filter? Nothing. It's the same air filter trick they've always pushed on their customers. Nothing's changed, so don't fall for it. Other than that, it's the same old experience you get at any Jiffy Lube, The service guys know what they're doing, and are very friendly. Since it's location is at such a busy intersection, it's a guarantee that you won't wait more than 20 minutes. Go Jiffy! read more

These folks have always been extremely nice to me whenever I've rolled in for an oil change. Love the detail of service - an oil change also brings a full vacuuming of your vehicle, windows washed, and fluids topped off. And they usually do all of this within less than 20 minutes, for usually around $40. Not too shabby! They also usually give you a handy dandy coupon book good for the year. Recently I stopped in here and had them check on an issue I had with a tire. They were very quickly able to let me know it had a nail in it, however I think the company is in the middle of a merger with Wal-Mart, and so they were unable to patch it for me at this time. When I arrived at the location, the gentleman that greeted me as I approached the garrage explained to me that there was a 45 minute wait and it might be best to come back the next day. When I explained to him that I had to get it done that day since I was leaving town, he appeared surprised and disgruntled. The manager at the front desk (I am a terrible person for not remembering his name) was the only reason I am giving this a one star. He was the nicest most welcoming individual I had met in a long time and truly took pride in his service and his customers. The experience was painless and actually overall pretty good aside from the initial greeting. However, I am currently at a trusted car repair shop that I have always gone to in order to get a check up and fix a tire. The manager stated that wherever I had gotten my last oil change, they had dangerously overfilled the oil to the point where I was risking blowing certain gaskets (he explained, but I know enough to be dangerous). Additionally, he said that the oil was pitch black and it looked like they simply "topped off" the previous oil. The last place I had gotten my oil change was this particular Jiffy Lube unfortunately. I had them obviously change the oil even though I had 2,000 miles left to go. Nice manager, not so customer friendly staff, and from what my trusted car guy says...could have done some serious permanent damage to my car. Two stars because they're always fast and the employees are super nice. But the complete lack of effort to promote social distancing, masks, or any sort of exposure-reduction is astounding. Per usual, customers are expected to wait in a little 10x20 room. Nobody was wearing a mask (employees excluded), and while that could be considered a personal responsibility, there wasn't a single sign that stated they were required. This is the mandate in Nashville currently so the lack of care or enforcement was noticeable. There are two doors that lead outside but both remained closed with a/c blasting. Customers all use the same keyboard to fill out their information, and are asked to sign for their payment using the same attached pen. I used the hand sanitizer by the computer right after, but still had to touch the door handle to pull the door toward me to get out. Trust me when I say I am not an anxious person, and haven't felt much anxiety about this virus. I was ANXIOUS sitting in the small room full of people without masks. How many people come in and out of there per day? The fixes to make it safer for customers and employees would be very easy and yet none were implemented. Also, even if I had chosen to wait outside I would've had to come inside to pay. As mentioned, I have not been particularly anxious about this virus, but have done what I'm supposed to to keep myself and others safe. Did I get COVID from this Jiffy Lube? I certainly can't say for sure, but I am now COVID positive 5 days after visiting and I'm not confident that I didn't. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Been on the road 10hrs driving through town and had to stop due to car issues. Front passenger tire started grinding. The entire crew was very friendly. Run from these guys. They are the worst. I had an oil change on my Chrysler 300 a week ago (9/22/17). Shortly after I started hearing clunking sounds when I turned the steering wheel one direction or another. Worried that the noise was serious, I took 2 1/2 hours off work to take it to the dealership for repair. I got my car back and all the service people were all laughing at me and asked who did my last oil change. I told them Jiffy Lube on Elliston. They told me that the Jiffy Lube guy took the plastic shield off that covers the oil pan, drained the oil and then put the plastic shield back on backwards. Worse, the oil change tech couldn't figure out why the plastic shield mounting holes now didn't match up to the screw holes in the frame. So, he just used 2 of the 4 screws to remount the shield. Worse, he also mounted it cockeyed to get the 2 screws to work. He then evidently threw the other 2 screws away because they didn't line up with the cockeyed backwards way he tried to reattach the plastic shield. The screws are special and cost $7.00 apiece at the dealership. Since the Jiffy Lube tech only used 2 of the 4 mounting screws, the plastic shield hung down and bumped again the steering mechanism causing the clunk I kept hearing. Obviously, they hired someone that didn't have a clue how to do a simple oil change. This cost me hours and hours of my time and money to repair their "workmanship". I had to the make an appointment at the dealership, drive to Antioch, and wait while they repaired the screwed up Jiffy Lube oil change. RUN don't walk away from these guys. The don't have a clue on how to do an oil change, will screw up your car, and cost you time and money getting your car repaired. They are absolutely positively the worst oil change "techs" on the planet! read more

Horrible customer service, it began when I pulled in and the machanic that greeted me looked annoyed and unfriendly. Then I went in to wait and once I was called up to the counter to go over what would be done the guy was speaking very quickly and just speeding through screens; I followed him with the information on the screen but had to stop him and ask if he was showing me an example because the year, model and mileage on my car was incorrect. He said, no ma'am, this is your vehicle. I told him it wasn't, he called in the guy who had entered it and this man stood in the doorway trying to dispute the false information. What? That was odd, but okay....I had a GROUPON, so maybe a little bad customer service wasn't such a big deal. Then I left. This groupon included an oil change and tire rotation. My first turn right I heard a very loud noise coming from the passenger tire side area. I parked, got out and didn't see anything. When I pulled back out and turned again I heard it again. I thought they had left a tool or something so I parked back and got out and saw that the wheel well liner was hanging down and catching on my tire. A very obvious thing that had NOT occured before the visit. Jiffy Lube was then closed but I called anyways to get hours and hopefully leave a voicemail. Nothing. It was just a dead line after about 15 rings. The operator from the 90's came on and said "If you'd like to make a call, hang up and dial again". Annoying. This morning I called back and asked for the manager, Bill. He listened but was not warm nor did he seem to have any concern. He blew off the problem as something that they had nothing to do with but sure, stop on by and we'll "have a look for you". He started off by saying when they change the oil they don't have anything to do with the wheel well. Well, what about the tire rotation I recieved? Unbelievablely low and unconcerned level of customer service. I called corporate and once I heard back I recieved the same level of "your problem" attitude when the representative Chuck said we don't carry parts at our store so they probably won't be able to fix it. THIS WAS NOT HAPPENING BEFORE I VISITED JIFFY LUBE, the fact that they have zero concern is enough for me to know I will never go back and I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Used this jiffy lube a few times till they started breaking engine components. I took my car in for a normal oil change the day before a road trip, the car was running perfectly. They did their normal thing, asking me what services I wanted and finished up the change. I drove off the lot to an odd acceleration pattern of jerks. I just wrote it off as an immediate side effect and kept driving. I kept driving and the car got more and more weird and turning on my check engine light. I stopped at my mechanic on my way home and after an hour of labor, he found that they had ripped my intake hose in half. (Something you might mention to a customer, right?). Jiffy lube denied it and said they couldn't do anything, leaving me out over $100 and unable to make a necessary road trip. Needless to say I will never set foot in another jiffy lube and will do everything in my power to destroy their reputation for not taking responsibility for their carelessness. Try automotive solutions for a cheaper-than-jiffy lube oil change (even if you use coupons) PLUS, they only use synthetic oil, and STILL end up being cheaper than jiffy lube. read more

Awful! I went in for a routine oil change, all was well until I got about 4 hours down the road when I broke down. The staff drained my transmission fluid for no reason and forgot to fill it back up.
