I visited Jiffy Lube (owned by Premium Velocity Auto, LLC) at 1921 S Glen Burnie Road for an oil change and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I arrived at 11:36 AM and didn't leave until 1:00 PM, which felt excessive for a routine oil change. I've been to this location several times before without any issues, so I expected a similar level of service. However, this visit was very different. To start, no one asked me what type of oil I wanted, nor did they explain pricing beforehand. Even as a returning customer, I believe that kind of communication is essential. I tried multiple times to speak with someone, but the technician was often outside or quickly moving between tasks, making it difficult to get any answers. I also noticed that another customer who arrived after me for the same service had their car completed and returned before mine. When I asked about it, I was told they were short-staffed, and while the technician did apologize, it didn't fully address the concern. While waiting, I received no updates on my vehicle's status, whereas other customers were being kept informed. As the only person of color in the lobby, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable about the difference in treatment, though I cannot say definitively what caused it. Lastly, my oil change reminder was not reset, even though the paperwork indicated that it had been. This lack of attention to detail added to the overall frustration. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location. I encourage others to be mindful and attentive to the level of service they receive here. read more

SCAM. Please do not go here if you want an actual oil change. They simply did not change my oil. Which is ridiculous for the price. I watched the short light skin girl act like she was pouring something from an opaque container. They need better actresses because it was clear nothing was going into my car. I'd been here a couple times before so I just chucked it up to maybe I was being paranoid and she was pouring the last bit of oil in there. I needed an oil change BAD and when I pulled my oil plug literally the next day the oil was BLACK. They will never steal from me again. Do not waste your money at this dishonest business. I got up Sunday morning and my truck tire was flat. I had used JL for inspections and the website said they did tire services. I inflated the tire and headed to JL in the mist and cold. Donta came out and found the leak and began to plug it. Tina came out to assist! Both technicians were courteous, professional and thorough. I was pleased and most grateful for their assistance! I've always been happy with Jiffy Lube but I just waited for ten minutes to check my car in for a simple oil change. There were two employees wandering around and neither one could be bothered to assist. I guess I'll try a different shop next Update: I decided to give this place a second try and although they were much more attentive this time around, clearly nobody has ever driven a standard transmission. I also specifically asked that my tires be filled, which I was assured they were. However even after driving around for a minute my air pressure light was still on. So I had to stop somewhere else and put air in them. I think this falls into the category of 'you have one job'. Save your money. Go elsewhere. read more

Very pleasant gentleman met me at the garage door as soon as I pulled up. Clearly and politely explained all of my oil change options. Courteously walked me to the waiting room and held the door open for me. When he realized my car should probably be scrapped because of the severity of my oil leak... He tried to talk me out of wasting my money! Honesty is refreshing. "Good value"...? I mean $80 seems like a lot of money to me but that might be my cheapness not their price point. read more

In the past I have always got my oil changes at Jiffy Lube and was satisfied with the price. However, I went there today to get an oil change and was quite shocked when I was quoted a price of $117.00 for an oil change! She said that's the price for my model and make car, a 2013 XTS Cadillac. That's insane, when you can get it at the dealer for 45.00 plus tax! I politely rolled up my window and rode away. read more

The folks at this particular location are some of the most friendly of any business in town. I dont know its the company that sets that culture or they just have good people at this location. I needed an oil change and while I haven't been to a Jiffy Lube in years, I also needed to be in and out quickly and I didn't want to spend a lot since I knew that I would be doing it again in just a couple months. I was first in line at 8 AM sharp when they opened and was greeted by the service folks. They were courteous and professional and explained exactly what they could do for me today and my options when it came to types of oil. Rachel (I believe the manager) assisted me in choosing an oil and then offering me a discount for the high mileage service since my vehicle is over 100K. We were in and out in 30 minutes or less. The store was clean, the staff professional, and I would recommend to anyone in the need of quick and inexpensive oil change to bring their vehicle here. read more

Jiffy Lube did an oil change and yearly registration inspection and it was a great experience this year, even during COVID 19. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Ray, the store manager, was very helpful in explaining all my options and the charges. I recommend getting the chore of your yearly inspection change done at Jiffy Lube in New Bern. read more

Great service! So happy I stopped in. All the employees are super nice. I went in for an oil change. They explained everything they were going to do and printed it out for me before I left. Wonderful customer service! Fast and friendly and I am highly pleased!

Staff was friendly and willing to help, i will give them that. 3 of my wheel studs were broken off (no at the fault of the employees). They helped me find a tow truck that would take my car to a shop where the studs could be replaced. I was not pleased to see that my Tire caps were left off and 2 lug nuts were loose. I found this a week later when i moved the remaining tire to the back. read more

Other than the price is a little higher than I'm use to, they get ya in and out fairly quickly. Can't beat they stay open until 7 which is a plus! (Which probably account for the prices) Staff comes to greet ya before you can get to them. read more
