I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for many years and have generally been very happy with the level of service. Their staff is mostly friendly and competent. Things change. I recently had my worst customer experience ever at this Jiffy Lube. I went for the basic oil change service and was advised that in addition to an oil change, I should recharge the refrigerant. Although the air conditioning was working, I agreed because I couldn't remember the last time this was done. To be fair they were working on other cars at the same time but: 1) We waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes for the service to be complete. The crew was not rude but they were not exactly friendly either. I can live with that but they totally misjudged the amount of time it took to finish the work. Another customer got fed up waiting and left before getting her car serviced. 2) After driving home with the air conditioner on, (about a 10 minute trip) heavy white smoke was coming from the engine compartment when we got home. I opened the hood and it was coming from the A/C compressor. 3) After letting the car sit in my garage for about 30 minutes, I checked the oil level and found they had added too much oil! The level was 1/2 inch above the maximum level mark on the dipstick! Not only am I going to have to drain some oil but now I need to take it to another mechanic to inspect the A/C compressor. I wrote to Jiffy Lube customer service and am waiting to hear what they have to say. I won't go back regardless, don't let them waste your time as well. read more

The staff really knew their jobs and were professional at all times. Soft upsell was used but it was totally tolerable. I got in and out in under 20 minutes and knew about recommendations I should pay attention to. Good Job Guys. read more

I got an oil change at this location and will not be going back. When I got into my vehicle there was oil residue on the door panel, steering wheel, arm rest and seat. I told the gentleman that pulled my vehicle out that they made a mess and he stated it was just water residue. I drove my vehicle 3 blocks to a family member's house and noticed a huge puddle of oil under my truck. I immediately took it back and they tried to tell me it was just water. I climbed under my vehicle, wiped my finger on the oil that was leaking to show them it was indeed oil and not water, their response was " Oh mam, you don't have to do that we will do that for you". I come from a family of mechanics, I know the difference between oil and water. They had me pull my vehicle back into the bay, they looked over it cleaned up the underneath, tightened up the filter and stated again it was just water residue. When I told them again that it was not water , the manager lied trying to say their was a different issue with the vehicle. After leaving the second time I noticed they didn't close my hood all the way as it started fluttering as I was driving down the freeway. I'm beyond furious and will not be taking any of my vehicles their again. read more

When I arrived, I was greeted within 3 min. I was told that I could use a coupon that was suppose to be used on a "second vehicle." They said I could use any coupon as long as it wasn't expired. That was good customer service. I was informed that my wait time would be 45 min.-1 hour. The big bummer is that they have no outdoor waiting area. This is the Bay Area! Have a couple small round tables with an umbrella shade and a few seats. Instead, they make you wait in a dark, dingy nook with no air conditioner and one TV set on whatever the guys in the area want. I let the attendant know that my car was at least a quart low which was true. I had read the online reviews from a few people which stated they were "short" different amounts of oil. I probably will not return here. There were a couple of people in the waiting area who were told that their car was ready, only to irate becaUse their car was not put back together properly and was making odd sounds. The manager was kind to the customer any quickly took charge to check this out. The result was that it had nothing to do with Jiffy Lube's work, but what I appreciated about this situation was how professionally and attentively the manager handled this customer. I had initially called Big-O tires as there work has always been top notch for me; however, they were booked. Finally, I observed how dedicated the manager is and he explained to me that he started out with the business in a different role, but he learned the ins and outs of the company and was promoted to a manager. I can see why! He treated me well and I will most likely return. read more

Single mother and guilty of not maintaining my car like I probably should, so coming to JL helps me stay on top of all the necessary little things. I guess that's what makes me a target for their constant recommendations and up sells, but I've never felt pressure to do any of their add on services. They checked my tire pressure and even checked the spare on the back of my RAV4 when I had asked - which was good because my tire light sensor had gone off and all this time it was my spare that was low on air. They topped off my fluids and stated that within 3 months I could always come back to "top off" before a road trip or anything like that. They changed my transmission fluid, but I thought it was shady that he offered $114 at first (I said 'no thanks') and then he ended up giving me a "deal" for $54.00 (just makes me wonder what other prices can they drop, but don't.) Nonetheless, the guys are nice and professional. I use to always go to Walmart but I don't mind paying the extra on their expertise on oil changes and fast service. read more

I went early one morning when they didn't have much business and yet they managed to screw up! They damaged the nozzle in my tire and by the tim I got home my tire was completely flat. When I called and complained, they speculated that it must be a nail and asked me to bring my vehicle back to them. I couldn't drive that far with my spare tire - so I took it to the local gas station where they fixed the nozzle. The manager in the Jiffy Lube store was arrogant and when I called him, he was very unhelpful. I wish I had read the reviews here before going, but it was a spur of the moment decision for me to go to this store. When the corporate Customer Satisfaction Survey guy called a few days later, I told him my story and he promised that someone will get in touch with me, but its been weeks now and I have not heard from anyone!!!! I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO BACK TO JIFFY LUBE and will always check Yelp before I go someplace again!! read more
