I had two completely different experiences with Oil Changers today. My first stop was the Winton location, and unfortunately it was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The employee who appeared to be the supervisor or second in charge was very unprofessional. I didn't have my service card with me, but my information was already in the system. Instead of simply looking it up, he refused to help. When I asked for the corporate phone number, he gave it to me, but then told me I needed to back up and move out of the way because other customers were coming in--even though there weren't any waiting at the time. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I called the corporate office and spoke with Mike, who completely turned my day around. He was patient, understanding, professional, and genuinely cared about my experience. He listened, reassured me that what happened was not acceptable, and made me feel confident that it would be addressed. I truly appreciate the way he handled the situation. He then transferred me to the regional manager, who was also courteous and helpful. Mike recommended that I visit the Oil Changers location at 4088 Thornton Avenue, Fremont, CA, and I'm so glad I did. The experience there was outstanding from start to finish. Every employee was friendly, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you to Ramin, who checked me in. He took the time to explain everything my car needed, clearly broke down the pricing, and never pressured me into purchasing additional services. Instead, his knowledge, honesty, and professionalism made me feel comfortable choosing some of the recommended services because I trusted what he was telling me. That's what excellent customer service looks like. I'd also like to recognize Daniel and Andrew, who were both incredibly helpful, kind, and professional throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience, and their positive attitudes did not go unnoticed. The teamwork between everyone at this location was exceptional and made me feel like a valued customer. The entire team at the Thornton Avenue location was knowledgeable, respectful, and made me feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. I left happy, confident in the work that was done, and grateful for the outstanding service I received. Went to oil changers for an oil change first thing in the morning Dan greeted me instantly was nice and pleasant. The other three guys were very nice. They were clean. They were respectful. They went out of their way to make sure that I didn't need anything else with my car. The guys were informative about when I should change my different fluids the guys were quick and efficient. From the moment I pulled in, everyone was incredibly friendly. I've been to another Oil Changers location nearby, but it definitely doesn't run as tight of a ship as this one. Here, they're constantly calling out to each other about what step they're on, it's clear these guys take their work seriously. My car was in desperate need of a wash, but that didn't stop them from making sure my windshield was cleaned and my tires had the right amount of air. They somehow made what's usually a chore feel quick, easy, and even enjoyable. Everyone I interacted with was hospitable and respectful. Absolutely a great value for what you're getting and the amazing service from Daniel and Ramin and the underground worker! The more services you get the bigger discounts. These guys were honest and not pushy about anything, which I've experienced before at other places. They give feedback and let you see the fluids before and after which helps visually see what you're getting. I went for an oil change only and inquired about transmission service and they gave me a price which was on par with other quotes I got at other places. Came for an oil change as I was making a drive to Vegas tonight. Came in the morning and had hardly any wait time, had my car in the shop within 5 minutes. I had two individuals working on my car, but one in particular was very inviting and let me know more about my car that I wasn't aware about. My Subaru manual recommended an oil change. This location had 6 mechanics on a Sunday morning. One mechanic told me that the Carfax report on my vehicle says my 2015 Outback never had its transmission and rear differential serviced. It also said the oil had not been changed in 28,200 miles.
