Tony and his team delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. My wife and I had our…read moreson take our 2012 Chevy Tahoe in for a diagnostic, and we were incredibly impressed with the level of care and professionalism they showed. They took the time to thoroughly explain the issues to our son, providing clear, detailed insights and a very fair estimate for the work needed. What stood out most was their honesty and integrity--there was absolutely no pressure to move forward with repairs. Instead, they focused on educating him and offering the best professional recommendations. Going above and beyond, Tony and his team even covered the cost of the diagnostic to support our son. When we called to insist on paying, Tony kindly declined, emphasizing that our son's safety and the reliability of the vehicle mattered more than anything else. In a world where that kind of compassion can be rare, this experience truly meant a lot to our family. Not only did they help us understand our vehicle better, but they also taught our son a valuable life lesson about integrity and kindness. We wholeheartedly recommend Tony and his team for any vehicle needs. If you're in Sedro-Woolley, Skagit Valley, or the surrounding areas, this is a local business you can trust--they genuinely care about their customers.

I took my truck in for intermittent stalling and rough idle issues and paid $240 for diagnostics,…read morebut left with no actual diagnosis or path forward. The main recommendation I received was a PCM recalibration recall related to random downshifting into 1st gear, which is completely unrelated to my stalling issue. They also told me to reinstall the OEM throttle body and intake, even though the problems originally started while the truck still had the factory parts installed. I only installed quality OEM+ aftermarket parts afterward while attempting to troubleshoot the issue myself. To make matters worse, they recommended a rear differential fluid service and used the attached fluid sample as justification, despite me having personally changed the fluid only ~2,000 miles earlier. When I mentioned that, I was told the truck may just be a "lemon" because it already had multiple issues. Overall, I left feeling like they were more interested in upselling services than actually diagnosing the problem.

And they obviously offer the expected services that one would think that you would get. Obviously their primary bread and butter being oil change. Unfortunately, the location is not equipped to do tire rotations, but everything from basic prevent preventative engine, maintenance maintenance involving oil and oil filters. Transmission fluid checks and many other things are all on offer and all for a relatively good price. The staff members are always willing to be fully transparent with the vehicle . They will never try to force you to change anything purchases and stuff. They will tell you various recommendations but all in all the final decision is yours. For instance, they'll pull out the air filter for your engine and then they will show you your current air filter next to a newer one to basically just show the difference. However, you don't have to purchase a new one. It is again completely up to you. all in all a good place. Highly recommend. Only thing that really marks it down is the fact that it's right next-door to a cannabis shop and if you're like me and you cannot stand the smell of cannabis when it's burning if you are unlucky and the wind is going in just the wrong direction you're going to smell it. But overall, this is a minor issue.

Yesterday on June 2, 2018 I took my car in to get the oil changed. The new guy Dillion put my info into the computer, printed off my invoice before him and Lisa started working on my car. I look at the invoice realizing that it's really cheap for synthetic oil so I went to ask Dillion if they were putting synthetic oil in my car and he says no, does it take synthetic? I say yes it does as he questions me more thinking I have no idea what I'm talking about I then call my boyfriend to double check everything and sure enough it's suppose to have synthetic oil, he re prints the invoice and gives me a new one and we go on with the oil change. I could hear Lisa under my car talking to Dillion about a part and something about calling O'Reilly auto parts, no call was ever made nor did they go to get the new part. Not long after Lisa comes up from the pit from changing my oil and gives me a bolt saying here I changed your bolt to your oil pan this one is almost stripped-hang onto it. ( assuming she stripped the bolt while she was changing oil because the last place that I regularly go to never has said anything about it before) Not thinking and needing to get where I need to be I put the bolt in my car door and leave. Today June 3, 2018 I get home my car is gone and I'm driving the truck and there's a huge puddle of oil in my driveway where my car had been parked from 3am till about 8:30am, we have now drove my car at least 500 miles since yesterday after getting the oil changed (Sedro Woolley, wa to Elma, wa and back and then Sedro Woolley, wa to Snohomish, wa and back) I then call and talk to Dillion (store manager and not the same Dillion that was working on my car yesterday) and tell him what's going on he says he will try to figure something out. In the meantime my boyfriend climbs under my car and it looks like they forced a different sized bolt onto the oil pan and put glue on it as well! I then call the store back to tell him and he informs me that he's the only one there and what do I want him to do about it? At this point I'm even more irritated and I asked for the store managers (owner) number and so I can call him to let him know. Sung the owner tells me to bring my car in tomorrow morning which I can not do because I have to go to work... my boyfriend ended up getting back to town from Snohomish before they closed so he took the car in to show them what was going on, I met him there. The manager of the xpress lube said "you bet she screwed it up, there was oil all over the underneath of your car. he had called her to come into the store before we were there so he could talk to her while she was off work-she lied to him said she didn't work on the car that it was the other guy which was a complete lie, the xpress lube manager told me she is suppose to be working the computer since she can't see anything. Well she was the one under my car the whole time! The xpress lube manager Dillion said the bolt didn't need changed not sure why she changed it, then we went into the gas station to get a refund and the cashier called the owner Sung to make sure. he didn't want to refund me my money. I then went outside and called him to let him know that my car could've been very well screwed up if this wasn't noticed that he could refund me my money cause at this point it was his cheapest route to go ($55 and some change and he didn't want to) finally Dillion the xpress manager got on the phone with him and talked to him telling him there was oil all over the underneath of my car and that Lisa screwed up it! Needless to say Lisa is a liar, shouldn't have worked on my car when she clearly doesn't know what she's doing and i wanted to warn others of this before they have something happen to their car and these crooks try to get out of fixing it! I wanted to say thank you to Dillion for making things right from his coworkers that screwed everything up and for the store owner for being a complete jerk and not wanting to deal with what his workers had did! I will never return to these gas station or oil changing place again! And hope others pay close attention to what is going on if they go there. I will be contacting my lawyer tomorrow so there is documentation of what happened in case my oil pan or anything is messed up that wasn't noticed yet.

Needless to say, it didn't work for the obvious reasons... I figured it out two months later when I called the Ford warranty company. So then I ask for my money back. Jamie told me he was working on it. That was mid Dec. It is now beginning of March, and I still don't have any word on when I'm getting my money back. And on top of that, I just found out Jamie spent the money I requested and forged a new warranty contract with a different warranty company mid Dec. AFTER I REQUESTED IT BACK! Also, back when my wife and I were signing papers, the car salesman (Larry) lied right to our faces on just following up on some concerns that we had with the car. Typical car salesmen tricks! Can't really expect allot from a car salesmen... And somehow, the thing that I was least discussed with (but yet still very important) is how over priced there used cars are. I talked "Larry" $4,000 down from their "JUST REDUCED PRICE" and I was STILL over paying on retail according to KBB on a car that should cost between $10-$12K. I have made it my personal mission to inform every friend/family member/co-worker never to buy from these jokers! I'm not sure if these guys are idiots or crooked but I would stay away if you value you time, money and sanity... Protech mechanics made sure they didn't miss anything through their detailed inspection and diagnostics. They did not try to pull one over on me and upsell like many mechanic shops do. The cost was completely reasonable given the cost of parts and time for repairs. Additionally, they were not just going through the motions of their job, they really went the extra mile (pun intended lol) picking me up so I didn't have to walk to the shop to make my payment and get my vehicle. They go above and beyond for their customers. She recently brought her car in for an oil change and they brought up a few other items that she should take care of, one of them being her brakes. The CSR gave her a form that listed she needed pads, rotors, and calipers to the tune of +/- $1,800. Thankfully my son was with his grandma and the suggestion of calipers struck him as odd. I am a mechanic so they had me take a look at the information provided. The Burlington Automotives mechanic that did the inspection on her car did call out her brake pads(and a few other small service items), but did not call out rotors or calipers. I did a brake job on her car and, indeed, it only needed pads with the rotors being perfectly smooth and within spec. The calipers were also in great shape with the dust seals still attached, no cracks or anything like that. We went to talk with Louis, the Store Manager, and he first said that pads and rotors are often changed together and thought it was weird the mechanic didn't call out the rotors. I stated it was because the rotors are fine. I asked about calipers and he went into a story about them potentially seizing if there is wear, again, not called out by the mechanic and the dust seals are in great shape. He then said that the CSR was "new" which is a cop out. If the person is "new", they should have oversight and that still doesn't explain how the mechanic got it right and the CSR got it wrong. When I asked what thier policy is for the hand off of information, he said the CSR should take exactly what the mechanic says BUT rotors and pads go together because It can cause uneven wear, we also dont turn rotors, we just go new. It is a real shame because this sort of things gives all mechanics a bad name. To be clear, the actual mechanic's report was on point and I think he was a fine mechanic. The CSR and Store Manager, though, should be ashamed of themselves At the end of the day, they tried to screw an old lady out of a bunch of money. Louis barely apologized, trying to make every excuse he could to get out of admitting they wronged her. They didn't have her best interest in mind.... do they have yours?
