Needed an oil change and I noticed all the dealerships around had terrible reviews so I began to look for other locations with better reviews. Ran across this one and decided to give them a call. The reviews did not disappoint, they were extremely helpful over the phone as well as in person. Arrived without an appointment and was greeted kindly and fast which is always appreciated. Today I went to this location instead to get my oil change from the Mandarin store assessed. They were polite and courteous and drained my oil and replaced it with the correct type of oil. The young lady and the young man working there today took great care of me and my car. They did a oil change for me and I didn't have to leave me car. He put air in my tires and she cleaned my windows. Service was very fast. I went on my lunch break and was on my way back to work in no time. I don't think I've ever had a oil change that fast before. I was very impressed. I will be recommending all my coworkers to come on their lunch break as well. They even put cold air through my car window while I waited because I had to turn my car off so they could do the oil change. Very good customer service. Thank you very much. read more

If I could rate this location lower I would. I went in for an oil change and it took an hour of sitting in my car at the bay for a standard oil change. They oddly charged me when my car still had about 30 minutes left of work being performed on who even knows what. After I leave and drive 30 minutes home I got out of my car and smelled oil so I popped my hood to see that there was oil all over my engine. I noticed the cap was never put back on and was still resting where the mechanic had left it. I then noticed that he even left his tool under my hood. I was super upset so I called and said I was coming back for a refund. It took 35 minutes to talk to the manager on duty and when he looked at it he realized that the job was not done. I showed him videos and pictures I took and he was amazed. He apologized and wanted to redo the job and I said that's not necessary I just want my money back and I'm leaving. I was very calm with darell the manager. While this is happening I hear the mechanic that worked on my car "James p." (They call him jimmy) talking shit saying that he would never mess up a job calling me dumb and that he knows that he did it correctly and the manager heard him running his mouth and told him to go away. I then got into an argument with jimmy(James p.) because he was getting really disrespectful with me. He said he would take off his jiffy lube shirt right now and we could fight. I proceeded to say okay let's go then. He kept mumbling under his breath and management told him that he was being unprofessional. I had the time for it today but jimmy just stormed into the office all angry like an upset toddler. Management apologized greatly and tried to Deescalate the situation. I was refunded and the manager kept apologizing for jimmys behavior. The manager darell was professional and handled the situation like a great manager should. Jimmy was super unprofessional and shouldn't be working at jiffy lube dealing with cars if he can't perform an oil change and he had horrible customer service. Honestly a refund doesn't even justify the situation. At the end of the day the mistake shouldn't even have happened but we are all Human so I understand no one is perfect. Where I am upset is that they have this "team lead" jimmy that sucks at his job running his mouth like he wasn't in the wrong then trying to get me out of character by trying to fight me. He even mentioned for me to check the cameras but when I said good idea let me see them management said that is corporate viewed only. I am from Texas and have had every single oil change done at my local auto repair shop that my family has gone to for 20+ years. While in Jacksonville my car was due for an oil change. I made the mistake of choosing this Jiffy Lube. Fast forward to my next oil change with my usual auto repair shop in Texas. Where they let me know that the mechanics at Jiffy Lube over tightened the oil filter cap, which caused the plastic cap to seize up. Total cost for mixing Jiffy Lubes mistake was $466.40. When I called to talk to Larry the manager he refused to accept any blame for his mistake. Larry even went as far as saying they have never had problems with over tightening the oil filter cap, and blamed my local shop for not having the right tools. My question for Larry is, how is this is the first time this has happened to my car? When every single oil change of my cars life has been done at my local auto repair shop. The first time I went anywhere else for an oil change, is the first and only time I've had this problem. read more

It is hard to rank one particular location of a chain since each location should be identical to the others. But I will say that the employees here have been unusually polite, fast, and efficient and it is never that crowded, so we are in and out very quickly. I've been a Jiffy Lube customer for 25 years and have noticed a remarkable improvement in their service level in the past 5 years or so. They no longer give you the 'hard sell' on unnecessary extra services and just stick with the basic facts. The waiting room at this location is clean and comfortable which is good because there are no other places within walking distance where you could go while your car is being serviced. No one should be strolling along that section of Blanding Blvd, it just isn't safe for pedestrians. read more

Came in early today with my girlfriends car thinking there wouldn't be much of a wait. When I got on the location I made the third car in line and I'm thinking "here we go" but to my surprise it only took about 15 minutes from greet to cash out! Larry the store manager and his tech Robert were getting it done! I received a proper service review letting me know what my manufacturer recommend for the milage on the car Larry even took the time to tell me about some package deals that were going on. I told him I was on a limited budget today but was glad to know the recommendations and even got a printout so I could return at a later date and take care of some things that are due. I visited this Jiffy lube to get an oil change for my Mercedes and i left a scratch off ticket worth 100 dollars in plain sight on the console right below my radio and in front of my Gear shifter and when got into my car once it was ready my scratch off was gone i immediately called back to jiffy lube to ask the clerks if they saw a scratch off and they said no! To be honest I was skeptic, just like I am with every other oil changing station. I have luxury vehicle which requires 5w40 full synthetic, 89.99.. I was like whatever I need it. After they replace my oil the manager called me over, I was already charging my magazine to fire some shots. However, turns out that they changed my oil and realized they don't have my oil filter. Not gonna lie. I can be an ass. For the first time walking in here I couldn't believe how friendly these young men were. Never tried selling me anything, never tried to convince me I needed extra stuff either. Clean waiting area, coffee and you can see into their work area if you like. For $35 maybe 2 bucks more, I had an oil change, fluids topped off, windshield cleaned and car vacuumed. Women, listen up!! You get your nails and feet done right?? The nice guy that helped me even told me about a promotion they were having.. a FREE fuel induction cleaning package (a $70 value) with a synthetic oil change.. which I was planning on getting anyway. Nice friendly welcome. The outside of the building looks very shoddy(just like everything else in the area) but it's much better on the inside. It's clean and the decor is fresh yet minimal. They are very polite and quick, but extremely expensive. I was quoted $39.99 (already expensive given that I can pay $19.99 on San Jose) and when the oil change was finished, ended being charged $48.00 as it was a 4x4...a bit deceptive!! By the way, this was NON-synthetic oil, just cheap regular oil. I do not think that their speed and courtesy warrants these kinds of prices. Will not be back. read more

Had a good experience the first time I went here. I went back recently and did not recognize the employees. The oil change for synthetic was $98.97. I declined other services they recommended. The next day I noticed fluid in my driveway. Thought it was my air conditioner. It continued even without the air conditioner on. Noticed it was oil. They did not tighten my plug. Called Jiffy Lube and spoke with Frank. He apologized and offered me $15 off my next service and stated I could bring the car back in and he would top off the oil. I declined. All I can say is, "Ladies BEWARE". Do not take your vehicle there. A male co-worker stated that they were probably upset that I wouldn't have the services they recommended done. I had a bad experience with Jiffy Lube in past with them performing services not needed and over charging me. Heard good things about this particular Jiffy Lube, so I thought I would give them a second try, but as always, got ripped off again. Will not be silent any longer.
