DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE!. Worst experience ever! I give it zero stars! I took in my car back in November to do a oil change. They asked me if I wanted synthetic or regular. I had said regular they argued with me and said it's better to put synthetic. The ended putting a mix in my car. Two days later my car started Turing off on its own. On the dash board showed the check oil. I took it to a electronic person pulled two codes one was INCORRECT MOTOR OIL. So I went back to them. They told me it really didn't matter what type of oil they put. WELL IT DOES because my car still turns off and my dash board ONLY lights up the check oil sign, NOT THE CHECK ENGINE! My car has a 5.7 motor YOU CAN'T PUT JUST ANY OIL. They didn't even hesitate to say I'm sorry we can put the oil it needs or anything. Okay so I have my pro and cons of this place... Con.. they're just so expensive. Literally wal- mart is 20 bucks cheaper on any service. Oh also, super ghetto area of town. I always feel uneasy being there just because of the area. Pros... Super nice, helpful and informative staff. I've never had a problem coming here. The biggest positive is I've never had to wait terribly long either... last time I went it was magical... no one was there so they took our car and got straight to work I swear it couldn't have been longer than 10 minutes that they worked on it. You can tell when the employees at a mechanic shop are lazy and don't want to be "essential workers" and just make excuses and use the virus as an excuse just by their attitudes and expressions. I had masks but no gloves and jiffy lube denied me for an oil change, which I desperately need for my delivery job. You can tell these people hate their jobs, I even tried calling them right when they opened and they hung on me twice before I just drove there.. alll so they can deny me Allllll because I didn't have dumbass gloves...I'm sorry but is me wearing gloves going to prevent you from touching my already dirty ass car? I went right behind their shop to U Save on tires & auto repair and they took me instantly with no hesitation! I'm taking some of my time to write this new review because the explanatory old review from Dec 9, day I went for an oil change for my old car, was removed by yelp because it was reported saying it "violated yelp review guidelines" etc. They don't want to be exposed but I really don't like that in this establishment they lie about the service and in the invoices, they just add random things that don't even apply to the car. So I get there and everything takes less than 15mins. *Every customer likes fast service, who doesn't? But please, WHY LIE about the stuff you actually don't do to the car and say my car has leaking when it doesn't?* #1. All the things listed in the invoice performed in less than 14 minutes? There are the times on the invoices (in photos). #2. (This one really I'm laughing about) The invoice states that my car has "excessive leaking upon arrival" what? I have posted photos of my drive way (and even have my driveway camera footage) so you can see for yourself that my car has not had any leaking of any kind (prior or after). #3. Reason why I wrote the other review in the first place, the old oil (I knew my car had a little) was not drained! You just poured the new oil into the old one, just so you know, that is not an oil change that is "adding oil", I could have done it myself. So why the "waste" charge? ($3 whatever). #4. The invoice also says my wiper blades were "ok", they were not! I just replaced them yesterday. If I don't check and I just go for what the invoice says, it starts raining, me on the freeway, then I am screwed (but of course you don't care). So for over $35 I received the worst service at this place (JL) and I will never again go to one since they have lost all my credibility since day one (my first time there). For less, I could have just bought oil at the store and quickly added it myself. Simple. For the other things listed I will not bother to check, I'm just mentioning the obvious things at plain view. I have enough evidence to realize that these people are unethical and unprofessional and will never go back. Customers like fast service but don't realize they don't get the "jobs performed" that the employees of this establishment put on the invoices. Seems like people get there, drive off and don't care, specially those of us with an old car. This car has been great to me, has never given me an issue and I make sure both of my cars are in good standing. Just because a car doesn't look or is new doesn't mean we don't take care of it. I care for my old vehicle as much as my new one because I use it for work and the miles. You should realize that many people depend on their vehicle very much, and lying in those invoices is not ethical. read more

I have been coming here for more than 6 years, ever since I found coupons in the AV Press - not only is this about the best price for an oil change, I have always felt comfortable and confident with the advice I get here - I have 5 vehicles that are all serviced here - never have I had a single problem - including my daughter's Mitsubishi Mirage, which calls for some outrageously expensive synthetic oil!!! Still the best price in town and the best service. Always top off all my fluids and check my windshield wipers - today I bought a new battery and got my air filter changed - they showed me WHY I needed these things - so far in all these years this shop has been spot on - I've got to be safe on the road - and my baby girl drives this Jeep Wrangler on a regular basis and I want her safe as well. I was surprised that this place charges $20 more than my dealer. However they have me a $10 discount and their service was great. They made a point if showing me exactly what they did and showing me the oil dipstick with clean, full oil. They didn't try to charge me for more than I needed done, and they were very friendly and helpful. I'm still shocked at the price though.. I checked my dealer invoice from last time, and it was the same oil used. But dealer always wants to do more than needed, so I liked this Jiffy Lube overall. read more

This facility did my oil change June 4th 2020. I never go to this facility my regular guy was booked. So I take my car to my regular guy Who has done my oil change every since I've owned the car except for this one time I go to Jiffy Lube. When my regular guy tried to take the boat off it just spends around in a circle Jiffy Lube stripped my oil Pan bolt. So I call Jiffy Lube to let them know what has occurred. He told me to bring my car and so we can rectify the matter. So I drive all the way back on the other side of town. The gentleman tells me did they try to take the bolt off ices will yes because that's how they found out the bolt is stripped. Hey put his hands in the air close my hood and says the warranty is no in void because somebody else put a wrench on the bolt. This Gabriel patronise me like I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to a vehicle. He is so wrong because I work on my cars for many years. So I called my guy so he can talk to jiffy lube . Well he Patronised my guy that does my regular oil change. He arguing with my guy If you didn't put a wrench on it how do you know the bolt is spinning around. I never take my car to these types of places. I made a claim and contacted Corp and they will contact the owner of this Jiffy Lube. They are responsible for the damage to my oil pan bolt and they need to fix it at NO CHARGE. I am highly satisfied with the service i receive on a sunday afternoon the whole process took about 15 min i went in for a synthetic oil change on a 2015 nissan, the gentlemen who help me out was extremly respectful and professional as well as very informative, i did not feel pressured to do anything else to my vehicle . This location has usually been great when the manager is here accepting competitors coupons. However employee named Jesse simply refused to assist me even when his manager in the past has assisted. Further, he refused to contact his manager upon request stating 'I am not going to call my manager regarding a $29.99 oil change, plus this isn't the managers store it's owned by a franchise and thus pay the advertised price of $29.99.' -5 STARS!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS JIFFY LUBE! Long story short, I decided to take my car to this Jiffy Lube to save me from driving to the other side of town to the one I started out with. I have no idea why I came to this location for the second time after the first time the cashier and possible "owner" EDWIN V. had (and still has) the UPMOST WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE! He has an attitude problem; a serious issue when dealing with customers. Being in the customer service industry myself, I stayed professional. He must have used over 25+ key codes to try and charge me over $600 for services I DID NOT NEED (fuel cleaner, air filter, ETC.) He then checked and advised I didn't need those things done. Then he convinced me that I really needed my TRANSMISSION FLUSHED "...it's really bad and if I go to a repair shop they will charge me a lot in labor." He fluctuated the prices so much that it went from $600 (I disagreed) to $300 (after removing some items) then back to $500 after he recalculated the price. I asked him how did the price jump like that? He "fixed" the price and again advised of the transmission flush. DO NOT DO THIS!!! I paid nearly $300. THEN THEY HAD MY HUSBAND, MYSELF AND BABY TO WALK TO ORILEYS TO PURCHASE A NEW COOLANT HOSE! WE BELIEVE THEY DAMAGED THIS PART! EDWIN V. is in it for the $$$ and doesn't care if your car comes out alive or not!!! There was another customer who told me not to allow them to add the other services (after the fact) she said they always do her like that too and her mechanic told her not to get any other work done. The next day my engine light came on. I immediately told them and they ran a test: SHIFT SOLENOID. The person(s) I spoke with said it had nothing to do with the services they did (one tried to make me admit that its been days since I had the service done!) and to take it to a mechanic. TRANSMISSION FLUSH = SHIFT SOLENOID (FERNANDO S. & CARMELO A.) In the days after my engine light stayed on the odometer stopped working and would act erratic and the car failed to shift properly. I had the services done on May 3rd by the 21st of May our car left us stranded 4 times. Now, we have had to use Uber. I've been riding my bike to work in the harsh conditions! WE DO NOT HAVE A CAR NOW! Did I mention it's our only transportation and we have small children! I've been forced to even rent a car to be able to get around! I WANT A FULL REFUND!!! Plus, the cost of damages with having to rent a car, ride the bus, and Uber! All because I wanted to use that stupid coupon. I wished I would have LOOKED AT THE OTHER REVIEWS! THIS JIFFY LUBE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! My family does not have a CAR NOW! Our only transportation! I have a baby! We have doctors appointments and have no way of getting there even with the bus strikes! They did this to us and I KNOW THEY WILL HAVE A DEFENSIVE EXCUSE AND WILL NOT ADMIT TO ANY WRONG DOING! They should only be in the business of CHANGING OIL! I have to find a way to be able to purchase a new car now! I need transportation for my young children! I went on a Friday to change my oil before going out of town for the weekend. The technicians were very friendly and, even though they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff like they always do, they also topped off my tires for free and tossed in a free air filter. They mentioned that my brake light was out and said that they would change it for the cost of the materials. I went on my trip and discovered that my brake light was still out! I was prepared to write a very unhappy review. When I came back this morning, however, the technician was very nice and, not only changed the brake light that hadn't been fixed, he changed both my brake lights with brand new bulbs for free! They didn't even had the part in stock so he went and got it for me while I waited. The mark of good customer service is how well they handle a mistake. A+! read more

Truthfully, I was expecting a great experience, but unfortunately that's not really what I got. Of the other times I've gone to other Jiffy Lubes, this one has been the least satisfying. As a woman, going to these places can be a bit intimidating and I expect for things to be explained to me, as I don't have much knowledge about car maintenance. The gentleman that helped me, Edwin was clearly very upset when he couldn't get me to do all these maintenance services on my car. Granted, my car needed it all, but his customer service went down to zero when I told him I couldn't do it today. Not everyone there was terrible, in fact, Kelvin was such a sweet person who was very patient with me. I appreciated that, after a terrible experience dealing with Edwin. My oil change was extremely fast which was great, but I don't recommend this place due to the customer service . read more

I absolutely HATE going to this place as a woman. No doesn't mean no to these people. I come in and say "I only want an oil change", and yet they come to me atleast 4 or 5 times with all the pricey stuff they want to do to my car. NO, I ONLY WANT AN OIL CHANGE, I politely say...it never works. Their labor charges are also rediculous....They wanted to charge me $30 to install a $15 air filter...meaning $45 for an air filter. I never updated this but after writing letters to the Area Manager and BBB I was reimbursed for the amount the dealer estimated to replace the oilpan. Yes, they stripped the drain plug... Imagine if I didnt notice and all my oil leaked out; I would have had to get a new engine. My personal recommendation, STAY AWAY! Go somewhere else. Do it yourself. Some people should not be in business! I guess this place has changed hands because they used to have great service. I took my old commuter car here every month for an oil change. I even forgave them when they sold me a a transmission flush at 103,000 miles and I had to be towed off the 210 freeway the next day. A $1600 transmission rebuild because debris was knocked loose BY THE FLUSH. I've been back 3 times with a new Volvo trying to get a simple oil change. Each time I was told we'll order the filter for you.. Ok so 3 months later I come back. I get attitude by some guy I've never seen before who claims to be the owner. In something between Vietamese and English, he says "we can't get these filters" and wants to know why I just didn't take it to the dealer. I said "because I've been getting my oil changed here for 5 years and the dealer was 60 miles away in LA. " He then acted like I should know that Jiffy Lube obviously couldn't handle the job. I said " Do You understand the concept of customer service? That's where you are trying to keep the customer, not send them away... Bye! !!" Done going here, coupon or not. The constant attempts to up sell is annoying. After seeing the milage on my vehicle, it was recommended that I get an engine flush. I let the tech know that that I recently had the engine rebuilt (only 8000 miles ago) and there is no way it needs that. He was bold enough to state to me, "Are you saying I'm lying?" so he proceeded to show me some dirty oil. Really, why do you think I was getting an oil change! Yes, I'm sure he was lying.
