Consistent poor service. Their ,"Signature Service" is as unbelievable as the pictures they put up online with smiling fake workers. That is not who is will be greeting you when you pull up. They will never honor all the ammenities they charge you for. You can forget about having exterior windows cleaned or vacuuming that you pay for in their signature service. Believe the 1 star reviews. They will just say you declined it in the report, while never asking you about it. Who would decline it? You're paying for it. More expensive than the dealership. How can you possibly trust them with a car your family's going to be in? As a father that loves his family, trust me go elsewhere. They are not worth the risk just to be local and convenient. This is an appraisal of several visits and this bad review is well earned. This will be my last review as it will be my last business there. This review can be applied to Ave S palmdale Jiffy lube, just add more criminal activity going on in the back. Walmart is half the price. $145 for an oil change with a bad attitude, incomplete work, and no peace of mind is rip off. Consistently bad enough is enough. I've been here a few times and have been pleased with the quick service. Today, I got a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and changing of the front brakes, all within 25 minutes. (No other customers were there when I arrived, but I still suspect it would have gone quickly even if there had been others ahead of me.) The price ain't cheap (all that came to about $450), but the service is far faster than most places. (Walmart estimated 90 minutes...just for an oil change...AND I had an appointment at 7:30 a.m., right when they opened. Which is why I left and went to Jiffy Lube.) So, Jiffy Lube, you're paying for parts, labor, and hey, convenience. I'll continue to visit this location. read more

Worst Jiffy Lube, ever! Repeated mistakes. Incompetent technicians. Overpriced. Slow service. This place is so convenient - I drive by it when I enter & exit my neighborhood. I gave them 2 extra chances because I wanted the ease of a quick oil change after work. Sadly, I will not go back. 1. They pressured into rotating tires. My tire popped on the 1/2 mile drive home, while driving 25 mph in my neighborhood. 2. After oil change, my car leaked oil for the first time ever. Returned and asked them to find oil leaked. Manager was "surprised" to find that the technician cracked a gasket and didn't replace it. 3. Last chance oil change: I decided to let them replace the air filters in the cabin - for the heater and AC. I paid for the service and got in my car to find the cover to my air system and filter falling off. The lead technician ended up putting it back on. I went home and once again discovered that my car leaked oil on my driveway overnight. I went back after work the next day. This time the lead claimed that he couldn't find a cause of the leak, but miraculously, it stopped leaking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

I had another location in Palmdale service my car and they overtightened the cap which resulted in an oil leak. I filed a complaint online and for some reason it was directed to the wrong store location. The owner called me and said he would check out my car even though the original service wasn't at his location. I was greeted by the store manager, Jose Duran who was extremely helpful and courteous. This business was my go-to place to service my cars. I started going to "J.L" when I moved to A.V. (Anterlope Valley) 2009. Like any business prices will change over time, and that's understandable. Yet; I was quoted $134.00 for synthetic oil change for my car. I thanked to young man, didn't argue with him, told him have a good day and left! You, would of thought he would of said, dude I see you are a loyal customer that have been coming to our establishment, let me see what we can do for you. Oh, to his credit he did offer $10.00 off...but he even knew $134.00 was high. I've met great people that worked there like Chris. the Armenian guy, great guy, and couple of others a tall black fellow...forgot his name, But these new guys...lack customer service skills they go by the book...Jiffy Lost a good customer in me. Today this guy (not even wearing mask) told me that my car only should use blended or synthetic which was about 3 times the cost of regular oil. This guy is really trying to rip us off. I don't usually go here , I usually go to Walmart but they're closed down so I figured I'd give Jiffy lube a try I knew they had a reputation for trying to sell extra stuff and I was fine with that , but when I'm I paid close to $100 for an oil change and watched one of the lead guys tell the other guys not to wash my windows. Came on Saturday afternoon to get an oil change and all 3 bays were full but one of the cars was leaving so we got right in. We were greeted by an employee who helped us right away and was helpful and nice. All the employees we interacted with were very nice and were also wearing masks. The oil change took less than 15 minutes and we were able to stay in our car the entire time which we loved! They also gave me 3 quotes on a new set of tires at very good prices. About two months ago I had a battery die on me which has a five year warranty. I call this location, asked very specific questions about the warranty making sure that it wouldn't be a problem, and they get me to come in. Indicating it would not be a problem. When I arrive, they tell me they don't have that battery size or the brand, and therefore cannot honor the warranty. There only suggestion is to go to the Jiffy Lube in Alhambra where I purchased the battery, or buy a new batter from them, at a discounted rate. I was upset because over the phone they indicated it would not be a problem just to get me to come into the location. Yesterday I call and ask if they do Uber inspections. Again they indicate they do, and just to come in. I head over, I'm there in ten minutes. When I arrive they say, they need a specific form that I need to get from the site, which they no longer have. And as I am getting back into the car because they are not able to print the form, they tell me its also $19.95, which is also upsetting since Uber has local contracts for free inspections. Two months, two different calls, and I have the same result. Given any information possible just to come into their location to be sold on something. These guys would be amazing car salesmen. read more

I was needing an oil change at the Palmdale location.... I drove in and there was one car in each bay with the hoods up. The girl told me it would be over an hour as both cars were having major services done...I left. I was confused as to why a 10 min oil change place would tie up both bays and not still leave one open for quick lube. I had a problem with the one on Avenue S and 25th for letting all the oil leak out of my car...so I went here thinking I would get better service...guess not. read more

Eh. Was my regular oil change for awhile because it is around the corner from me. It was in and out with no problem most of the time. Until I got serviced from the team leader/manager at least he appeared to be, but might've been a mechanic I'm not sure. He seemed so sure of himself, like when he tried to check me out on a signature oil change (and I never requested it) he reluctantly changed it back to a regular oil change. He didn't say sorry and he made sure to say thanks and good bye to another customer but definitely just stood back and watched me silently as I drove off, very weird vibe. Happened months ago and it left a weird taste in my mouth. But I'm happy to report that I found a very awesome place called Grease Monkey in Quartz Hills! I took my 2013 Ford Fiesta for a simple oil change, and to my surprise, right off they try and tell me my car takes a synthetic blend. This was news to me since I usually take my car to the dealership. They try and tell me that their system knows more than Ford ? I did have documentation from a prior oil change from Jiffy Lube where they used 5/20 oil. Also why do they claim $25.00 dollar oil change and then add on a $3.00 dollar waste fee ? If that fee is mandatory then you should promote a $28.00 dollar oil change. read more
