I pulled into their parking lot because my car was overheated with steam coming out from under the hood, and I was looking for a place to add water so I could get to a mechanic. They came out as soon as I pulled in and we took a look under the hood. My radiator was cracked and leaking and with steam shooting out of it. Even though they are an oil change business, they got a new radiator, installed it and had me on my way in about an hour, for less than half of what a dealer would have charged me. I haven't used Jiffy Lube in years because of past horrible experiences. But needed a quick oil change and had a few minutes of extra time. So I was greeted with a friendly welcome by someone working in the bay. I was quickly escorted inside to the waiting area. I was greeted by Nick after they did a quick inspection of my car. I was offered different services but not pressured. Nick told me it would be 10-15 minutes and he would get me out the door. It didn't take long and got me out the door. I get great service from this Jiffy Lube location and they've been replacing my oil for about 10 years. I'm impressed with how knowledgeable and talented the mechanics are at this location. Prompt, communicative and professional, every time. Part of the reason I felt compelled to finally leave a review is because I thought I'd give the Valvoline up the street a try after I saw an on-line coupon. The young man who approached me (at Valvoline) was rude, arrogant & dismissive. I just drove through the engine bay and left. Definitely my best experience getting my oil changed. My car was in and out in under 10 min. They were out of the cheaper oil I typically used and provided me with a more premium oil at the lower cost. They also automatically filled my tires and helped secure a section on the bottom of my car that I damaged a while ago. These guys were great totally recommend! read more

I've been coming to this place regularly for many years.. Their oil change is "EXTREMELY COSTLY" .. They do the same oil change for 52$ + tax, which Sears and others do for 19.99$ They have been price matching me, but with a frown .. Today they didn't do even a price match, and apparently a customer telling them that he is visiting them since forever and you'll lose his business, doesn't mean much to the staff ... To which they rudely said "ok, don't" ... Don't pay triple for service at this place .. There are several other better places .. One Google search will tell you plenty cheaper and better options in the vicinity. read more

I had accidently overfilled my oil at the O'Reillys nearby and the two working at Jiffy were helpful enough to drain off the excess (since my siphon wouldn't work and my car is too low to do it myself. I usually dread getting my oil changed: The customer service protocol, the escort into the waiting area, the wait, the inevitable attempt to up-sell. Today was a BREEZE. I drove in, waited in my car while they serviced, and watched as the guys quickly changed my oil, inspected my air filter (no suggested need for a new one, surprise), checked tire pressure and had me out of there in 10 minutes. They were very courteous and provided customer service in a way that felt genuine, with nice smiles. They seemed capable and engaged in their work. I was just telling my husband about my experience when he said, "Was it Jesse who asked you to give a review?" Yes! My husband was in there a month ago and had a similar experience. I will be going to Valvoline from now on. This place was the most expensive oil change I've ever had. The guys were nice enough however 55$ for conventional is just too steep. I also specifically asked them to check my psi and fill my tires with air, the guy looked at me and said that was all done and all tires were ready, however I knew the exact psi before I went in and sure enough the tires were untouched, therefore I was lied to my face. I wanted to try jiffy lube being it's close to my house and I've never been to one before, however my experience warranted one star, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

So, I went here because of decent reviews.... expecting to be let down, because it's Jiffy Lube, and there's over 9000 stories of these things ripping you off. I drove up, hopped out of the car, and was met by Ron, a younger guy. In the 30 seconds between pulling up and talking to me, he had run my plate number, checked the last type of oil I had gotten (from a different location), and asked if I wanted to do the same type of oil, and if there was anything else they could do for me. I went with the same oil, quick and easy, and said "I know my filters are dirty, don't show them to me". 15 minutes later, I was on my way. I also had snuck peeks to ensure they were actually changing the oil. Yep. Doing the right thing. It was a surprisingly good experience. read more

I had a pretty wonderful experience at this Jiffy Lube. I usually get my car serviced at the one in Ballard, but the crew on Avondale Way was kind and so helpful. I don't know much about car parts and I tend to feel most of these places want to up-sell you on some service you don't need, but Nick the AGM went out of his way to explain and physically show me what exactly was wrong with my belt and transmission fluid and why I needed them changed. He even offered for me to research it if I didn't feel comfortable and come back on another day. These guys are great at what they do and their customer service was top notch! Got an oil change today, and immediately had 4 guys get started checking all the stuff under the hood! Stayed in my car the whole time and was out of there in less than 15 minutes! Go here if you want them to ruin your oil plug. I had all my prior oil changes done at Dealer. Came her once, had my oil changed, felt the price was too high so went somewhere else. During this next oil change elsewhere, they told me my plug had damage and to go back to Jiffy Lube. Went back to Jiffy Lube where they said nothing was wrong and proceeded to give me two free oil changes. Even have the guy on video saying nothing is wrong with my plug. Go in again after 5 p.m. for next oil change and kids working there say they cant change my oil without a manager there..That my car has a special filter.. Basically they were being lazy and did not want to do it. Never have i been told they need a manger there to change my oil. So i go to Duvall Jiffy Lube.. After my oil change is done, the manager proceeds to again tell me that something is wrong with my oil plug. Its got damage and its very hard to get in and out, That eventually i will not be able to get it in and out. I tell her my story, show her my video and she texts the manager at jiffy lube who was to contact me and never does. Never again!! read more

I called ahead and asked the manager if they could replace a fuel filter on my 2012 GMC Sierra 2500HD Diesel. He said they just had to pick up the part and could do it in an hour. My wife takes the truck down and while it's in I say have them do the air filter too. The only option is an expensive upgraded one. I say whatever and go with it since they're going to do the fuel filter. Then I get a call from the wife saying they couldn't do the fuel filter but already did the expensive air filter. They said they don't have the tools to do it but I had this exact same shop do my fuel filter two years ago. Now I'm wondering if they even did my fuel filter last time. Update: they only charged cost for the air filter because of the fuel filter issue read more

They forgot to tighten the screw/plug that holds the oil in and it was leaking out. They did come to the house and corrected it.
