I cannot believe this place!! This wasn my first rodeo at this location, I came in and said just an oil change. They take out all the spark plugs and filters which is part of their package, however, they didnt put my spark plugs back in correctly. Turned my car on this morning and ALL 4 were missfiring!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! Ridiculous. If youre people arent trained to put the car back together then maybe they shoukdnt be working there. Service was very slow. I waited over 30 minutes and they haven't even pulled it into the bay. I also waited the most there was already a new set of people half way in my wait time. Take my advice if you're in a hurry go buy some oil and an oil filter and do it yourself. read more

I took my car back to Jiffy Lube two weeks ago for an oil change. I authorized a tire rotation as well. They were quick to get my oil change done (initially they said it would be 50 minutes) and also told me I didn't need a rotation because my tires all had the same amount of tread (tires are only a few months old). Great customer service; they always come running out to your car the second you pull up and offer you a bottle of water while you wait. They go over everything with you in detail and don't try to push extras on you like some places do. They recently changed a serpentine belt for me for cheap and quickly. Just left from there with my Suburban looking and feeling good! Great automotive service and great customer service. As soon as you pull into the JL driveway, you greeted by one of their friendly employees. They escort you to the waiting room and hold open doors. They ask you if you want some of their complimentary coffees of chilled bottled waters. As you take a seat, the sound of the Cable TV show on the 42 inch LCD Flat Screen fills the air. You look up and notice next to the Flat Screen is another TV but a four way split screen showing each bay of the garage. Very cool, you can see the status of your car being worked on. During your weight time, you will then be asked to view your Jiffy Lube history and advised on what needs to be changed. No pressure or scare tactics. If you say no, it's a no. End of discussion. I opted for my regular High Mileage Synthetic and added Rear Trans, Flush Fuel Line, and Auto Trans changed. Waited only for 25 minutes and was on my way. Before leaving, I was reminded about the unlimited "Top-Off" program (very cool, you HAVE TO take advantage if this) and to visit the Jiffy Lube website for coupons on your next visit. Took my new car to have its first oil change and tire rotation in the past couple months. Excellent service, informational, and the wait time is so much better than other competitors. Didn't make me feel uncomfortable with the upselling and the girl that was working the first time I was there, I believe her name was Kacie, was very sweet. Ricky helped me out as well. I was in and out within 10-15 minutes--and they were packed. The 2nd time I went in for a tire rotation they were done in about 5 minutes and I've not had a problem, which I did initially anticipate simply because other places have cost me more money down the line with something they left out. You're welcomed to free water, coffee, and a flat screen television if you do have more with your service and need to find a way to kill some time. Clean store, too. read more

Oh my gosh, these people are amazing! They did a wonderful job with all of the maintenance on my car. They're all very friendly and helpful...and I mean EVERYONE! I need to mention that Joe went way above and beyond to help me. I was at the bank, approximately 2 or 3 miles away from the shop and ran into a problem with my car. Fast, efficient , courteous service. We were in & out in 20 minutes. They vacuumed the floor and wiped the windows. Entire vehicle inspection was a nice touch. Although it is Jiffy it sure isn't CheapyLube. Tire rotation new filters, and oil change was $100 after a coupon. I'd go back with another coupon. The convenience is worth the dollar. This location is horrific, they are sloppy and dishonest. The manager will lie to your face and not bat an eye. Last summer they forgot to attach a part to the smog system and as I was pulling out of the parking lot the engine stalled. They told me I must have driven it in like that since they don't touch the smog. 2 hours later while I waited with my 7 year old they brought in someone to attach a hose. Fast forward to two weeks ago my wife is in with her GMC and they brought her out and showed her a part that had been broken off (again smog), told her it was like that when they opened the hood. As soon as she drove away the cabin filled with exhaust, it was not like that before. I've left messages for the manager w/o a return call. Not to mention the oil spots all over my garage floor that were not there prior. This place is a joke, not well ran and lacks integrity. Two separate situations a year apart and consistently shady and sloppy. There are other choices, these people don't care about their craft or honesty, STAY AWAY! read more

My danger sign was on and they just take your car with a smile and say there will be no charge. They're amazing and then they give you coffee and water. Always try to be positive when it comes to businesses and the workload so I won't just give them a shot then not give them a second chance. My first visit was for a regular oil change, not expecting too long of a wait but was not happy when it went past 2 hours without any word for why or anything. So I didn't want to wait any longer for a transmission fluid change so I decided to give them another shot 2 days later. Booked it in for the anticipated transmission fluid change and was informed 45 minutes. An hour and half later I asked for an update as I can see my car parked. An associate informed me that they haven't started it yet but will do in another 30 minutes. Let me say that this place is the worst jiffy lube I have visited. No communication and a complete disregard for customers. Jiffy does not mean quick at this location. Terrible read more

Excellent customer service! I was just in this morning and always dread bringing my car in to get services because I am a young girl. The staff at the Rocklin location never make me feel guilty and are never too pushy BUT are very informative and stress the need to get certain services done in a professional manner, never making me feel uncomfortable. They gave me alternatives as far as breaking up my services to make it a little more reasonable. After a not great experience a few years ago, I've been pleased every time I visit this location. I was fortunate to be able to go in on a quiet Monday morning and receive excellent service. The staff is friendly and eager to please and the waiting area is pleasant, including a TV with dedicated cameras to see your vehicle being worked on. The one knock on this location, that others seem to have commented on also is that it can get extremely busy because it is the only location in the Roseville/Rocklin area. At first blush I was impressed with this location. Clean, complimentary water, service explained well. Then within a day or two my driveway had oil on it. I ended up taking my vehicle to the dealership where they diagnosed a wrong oil filter size placed on my vehicle. It cost me $150.00 to diagnose the problem and replace with the correct filter. If a company that specializes in lube, oil, and filter on a common make and model vehicle can't get it right, I will not return. read more

This Jiffy Lube has the most kindhearted, warm and welcoming staff members that I have ever had the honor of being serviced by. They truly care about their customers and treat them like family. Today I had to call Jiffy Lube, as an oil filter was hanging off the bottom of my car. Within 15 minutes of calling, a nice gentleman named Michael came to help me out. He took it off, showed me the damage and instructed me to come to Jiffy Lube right across the street to get a new one put on. He was so kind, and considerate. I sat in my car while he replaced it, and he got it finished in such a timely manner. I was even asked by another nice guy if I wanted my windows to be washed while I was there! These people are absolute rockstars who go above and beyond and I couldn't be more grateful for them. After reading great reviews i tried my luck at jiffy. Friendly staff but no organization or communication. They didnt ask my name, or ask any details about my car or which service I wanted. It seemed they wanted to do the service FIRST, then charge what they think you needed. Two employees spent 20 minutes juggling cars around with their thumbs up their nose. Because of that time wasted I left and went to speedee. I dont want getting my oil change to be an experience. Just handle it and move on to the next guy. read more

Went to this store last week for a standard oil change and tire rotation. They weren't any busier than usual (I service five of my vehicles there). An hour and a half later I looked to see if my car was done and it was sitting outside ready to go which no one had told me. When I went out and asked one of the guys if it was ready to go he said yes and that someone would take care of me. When I told him I'd been there an hour and a half and no one was in the office he finally offered to get someone to help. I will not spend another minute there as all the good will was sucked out of me over that hour and a half. I don't know how long I'd been sitting there while the car was sitting outside ready to go. Wasted one year, did application twice, provided proof of funds twice, I was told by them that area of inerest is available and tthen hey droped the ball each time. I wish I could give zero stars but I am forced to give a star. I attempted to get my oil changed 6/4/14. I came to the particular JL bc it was close to my work and I need this service done. I pulled up to the stall, a gentleman ran over to me and greeted me escorted me inside gave me a small tour and offered me a bottle of water. Very nice. Immediately turned to the "customer service" gentleman and ask how much it was going to cost for a basic oil change. He told me 29.99. I checked in and showed him 15% off coupon for checking in. He told me that I couldn't use my coupon bc the oil change was on special already and I can not combine the coupons. As a consumer, there is no sign posted stating the cost for an oil change or any service at all. How am I supposed to know the price besides what you're telling me and me showing a coupon? He got his "manager" Dave. I explained to him there is nothing listed, nothing posted, other than what you're telling me. That sounds like a bait and switch to me. Lure me in with a discount and then tell me there isn't a discount because we have what you're doing on "special". He told me "no where can you bundle coupons together with a special" I told him Walmart had it cheaper. I'll go there. He stood by his guns stating that the price was the price and that I can go to walmart. Where is the customer service? The service at this Jiffy Lube is quick. The attention that you're given with cross selling services is understandable but their not at a good value. What you would be paying for there is convenience if you are not versed with basic replacement of automotive items. The prices for some of their items are awful. They recommended replacing the cabin and air filter and they wanted to charge us upwards towards $40. That is ridiculous. I purchased a cabin air filter for $9.87 and an air filter for $8.87 for my 2010 Honda Civic LX on Amazon. I received in a couple of days on Prime and saved a good amount of money. They also tested our battery and told us it was at 0. 0? Zero? I don't even know what that means. The last time I checked batteries were tested in Volts. We have a Sears Die Hard battery that we purchased less than 1 1/2 years ago. We went straight to Sears and had it tested and they provided me an accurate printout. There is plenty of things this place can improve on. The first things would be knowing a little about cars. Nothing huge, maybe just the basics. read more
