Another woman who had a horrible experience. My car has been back three times and now it needs to go into the dealer to be fixed. Never ever ever had an oil leak and now it leaks like a sieve. Was told two times that "at times, like 1 in 20,000 a gasket is bad". I must have the worst luck. Third time was no explanation, just condescending attitude and a lack of professionalism. Third time you are out. While waiting there were three other people waiting for repairs from previous work and one man came in with repair bills to be reimbursed due to a bad oil change. STAY AWAY from here. My somewhat reasonably priced oil change is going to cost me hundreds in repairs. Shame on Jiffy Lube. read more

Worst Customer Service- Been a customer for years- Have several vehicles that I get serviced on a very regular basis. This is the second time I have attempted to utilize the Top Off Policy - each time I was about 3 to 4 thousand miles away from my scheduled oil change - they would not top it off unless I paid for it or just had My oil changed again - So over 1 quart of oil They have lost all of my business - - Took my car to another service provider and paid for a complete oil change rather than deal with their short sighted lack of customer service - the new service provider - says Thank you! read more

Stopped by here yesterday for an oil change and to check my battery. Jiffy Lube is always trying to upsell on the additional services, like light bulbs and "$3 to top off your radiator fluid" when they topped the wiper fluid for free...They also remove all of your car's air filters to show you they are dirty and try to charge you for a new one. This location removed my cabin air filter and engine air filter. When they put them back, they didn't secure the cabin air filter all the way, so my car made this horrible high pitched noise when I turned the A/C on. After googling how to fix it, I noticed the engine air filter under the hood wasn't clamped down into place. Seriously, if you're going to upsell a product, at least have the decency to put the car back together properly. read more

CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE AFTER LEAVING THIS LOCATION. For the second time, after Jiffy Lube did their thing on my car, they reduced my tire pressure by 5 lbs, resulting in poor gas mileage. Never deflate tires on a hot day after driving the car. They should know this. read more

Stopped in for service today use to be a good shop but things have changed. I service 4 vehicles through here but no more. Arrived and was greated promptly, person lead me to waiting room but was hard to understand. Spoke extremely fast and mumbled. Was told there was only 4 of them so it would be 35-45 minutes. I sat down and waited. During that time another customer had issues with her car being by passed with new arrivals. At 45 minutes I checked on my car to find it being bypassed. Spoke with a gentleman that seemed to be a lead. Explained the issue, he was polite but insisted everything was normal and there were no problems. Ended up taking my car around the corner to Havoline Lube express, great service, out in 15 minutes with a car wash from the place next door. read more

I live in Sac and went to a Jiffy Lube closer to my house first. Apparently, their "computers were down" and couldn't help anyone. I had an appointment later in the morning in Roseville, so I decided just to go to the Rocklin Jiffy Lube instead. A little hard to find, but well worth it. They got me right in, had me wait in the lounge with free coffee and bottled water, gave me the wifi password, and most importantly kept me informed about the things needed for my car. While I was there, they also checked another woman's car for some issue and diagnosed the problem. They fixed it as best they could for what they do at Jiffy Lube, but recommended she take it in to her mechanic for a permanent fix. They didn't charge her ANYTHING for checking her car or for filling the fluid to get her through the weekend until she could get to her mechanic. The staff were all very polite, professional, and fast. It was well worth my drive to come all the way up here. I will be back!!! read more

They were really busy today, and I still got out in 30 min for my oil change. Solid service, but they tried to really up sale me again. Still with a ten dollar off coupon 36 dollars to clean the windows floor and oil change is pretty good. In addition, my brake fluid cap was missing and they caught that. Stay away!!! This is your typical ripoff auto service establishment who prey on women who know little about auto service. I spent 6 years as a mechanic and reviewed my girlfriend's service receipt. She got taken to the cleaners for $175 to change her oil and replace her wiper blades. $130 for parts and $45 for labor. Wow! I didn't realize that four quarts of oil, an oil filter, their famous oil stabilizer (total scam folks) and wiper blades cost $130. I can go buy all of the parts to do this job for less than $45 at your local auto parts store. And they get a discount on these parts due to buying in bulk. All the fluids etc. stuff they listed as checked took them less than five minutes. Do yourself a favor and keep driving by this place unless you want to get ripped off. read more

Went in for an oil change, the guy working on it inadvertently broke something and had to call the local dealership to get a part. As a result, I'm there for 2 1/2 hours. They were apologetic, but still they pretty much ruined the afternoon for me. read more

For last 15 years I have gone to another oil change shop. I had become disatisfied as to the quality of the work so decided to change. Yelped around and found this shop which was a bit further than I wanted to drive but needed to find a place. Was very, very impressed by the quality of service. They have a TV in the lobby to monitor the progress of your vehicle as well as coffee and the normal lobby stuff. Very clean. Definately going again with the rest of my vehicles. read more

Went in 2/23/2014 for a standard oil change. I was greeted right away and helped to the waiting area quickly. Bob was very knowledgeable and patient as he explained my vehicle's service requirement and options. The wait was not very long at all and before I knew it I was ready to go. I find it hard to believe people have had a bad experience. Obviously, they are a business and want to sell the better of their products, so there is a little upsale. But, it is not hard to say "no." I went there on my lunch and they were very good about getting me back on time. I've gone to them for misc. things (like needing coolant) and they did it on the spot. Went in for an oil change and was tempted to get new wiper blades due to recent rain, but they were kind of expensive. Ryan the technician that we had been working with put the wiper blades on my car for free and said he wanted us to be safe in the rain. He didn't have to do that. My window shattered unexpectedly at the shop. Managers Ryan Evans and David were very helpful in directing me to an auto glass repair store and checking with me while on the phone to my insurance. I took my 1994 Toyota Camry to this location (Stanford Ranch) for Automatic Transmission Fluid Exchange & Filter Replacement Service. Jiffy Lube website says: The Automatic Transmission Fluid Exchange & Filter Replacement service includes: changing the fluid in the transmission system, including the torque converter and transmission cooler removing the transmission pan removing the old transmission filter and replacing it with a new transmission filter removing the old gasket material replacing the pan gasket with a new gasket and reinstalling the pan refilling the transmission with new automatic transmission fluid to the proper level. Before I go, I gave a call and they confirm all that services except filter change because its not replaceable for $149, which is OK. However, when I took my car for that Service Jiffy Lube, they did for $149 only refilling the transmission with new automatic transmission fluid to the proper level. NO removing the transmission pan NO removing the old gasket material NO replacing the pan gasket with a new gasket and reinstalling the pan. Wrong advertisement? read more

I went to jiffy lube for a broken tail light which I wad told from someone else was a wiring problem. Ricky stopped what he was doing and helped me right away and discovered it wasn't a wiring problem but that they missed the fact that I had another bulb out. Since I had bought the bulbs already from the other place he just fixed it right then and there free of charge. He gave excellent customer service and was beyond helpful. I would gladly return here for any of my car problems because of him and his service. read more

I normally do my own oil changes, but I had a very busy schedule with school and work and was unable to do it myself. In between classes I took my car in for a simple oil change. That's all it needed. When I got there they did their normal greeting and brought me in and had me put in my inormation as I was a new costumer. I waited about 10 minutes then they called me up and told me how much everything would be. The guy said that I needed a synthetic oil change which I KNOW is typically only about $10 more than a regular... They charged me $90 for a synthetic oil change and then they told me that I didn't have an air filter in my car. "Oh that's funny because I just put a new one in like 3 months ago". They charged me for that too. My total for that visit was $117. Again, all I needed was an oil change. They hold their heads up and believe they have good costumer service. Truth is, it doesn't matter how good your costomer service is if you rip off your customers for something so simple like an oil change. I could have gotten 3 oil changes at firestone for the price of this one. Definitely not satisfied. read more

They "cleaned my windows" (just smudged up the film that was there) and they left a sweet grease stain on my center console and put just enough wiper fluid in to make the light go off until i used it again. other than that, well done guys.. read more

This is the second time I have been at this location for a simple oil change, each was a nightmare. I arrived at 12:19 and was checked in at 12:39. The time was printed on my paperwork. They said 20 to 25 minutes for service and I was there for over an HOUR!!!!!! THIS WAS THE WORST LOCATION AND SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on my lunch break and now almost two hours later am back at the office. They gave me a managers discount at 15% for my time. As i was leaving they men sarcastically said have a nice day... I will never go back to this location. BTW, the man infront of me had the same experience - he was complaining about his wait and I should have known better before checking in. read more

I come to this jiffy lube often and hadnt had any issues(my family has though) and i lost my key to my truck but suprisingly it being an old truck ive been able to use a different key for the past couple months and havent had any issues. Well i went here with the truck for an oil change and when they were done the car was not able to start. David the manager said it was because it was a different key and since the ignition is damaged it wont start. I told them it was a different key before the service and they said it wouldnt be a problem. I understand it was a weird situation for them but it has never been an issue for me and now under their care the car is busted. David said i needed a tow and i asked since it was under their care when it happened can they cover it and he said its not their responisibility and it would be unfair to their company. Now its unfair that i have to pay for a tow and damage to the truck plus the normal service fee they already did when it wasnt even in my hands when it happened. Im never coming here again simply for their integrity and responsibility issues. And my grandfathers been coming here since they opened and a month ago they forgot to put the oil spill pan back on and it caused damage and they stillll refused to refund their service for his damage. I dont know whats going on here but itd be easier and less stressful to go somewhere else. read more
