Came here to get an oil change and an engine filter replacement. I brought my own engine filter and I let the tech who assisted me know exactly what I wanted. That went well until one of their guys came to me with my cabin filter (for my air conditioning) in his hands out for display, asking if I want to replace it. I don't know if this is something they do to get you to do more services but definitely not coming here again. Reason being I do my own cabin filter replacement which is very simple and have done it ever since I had my car. My plans were to change my cabin filter that same day. Turns out once I checked my glove compartment I noticed the clasp that holds my cabin filter in place was broken! I was pissed because he didn't bother to ask if I wanted any other service and he didn't know how to properly open and remove my cabin filter without breaking it. I didn't make a comment as I left the place because I knew they weren't going to replace a dealership part. Next time ask for permission from the owner and ask your co workers if they can assist you. It's okay to look up stuff you don't know, just leave the car better then how it came in. read more

My mother took her vehicle there yesterday for spark plugs, she arrived at 4pm and didn't leave until 7:45pm. As they left her vehicle started acting weird and there were going to take it back but it closed. The cashier/receptionist, whatever she is PRISCILLA G had the worse customer service!!! The gentlemen whom worked on my moms vehicle was excellent,Kyle L. My mom called this morning to ask for a manager about what happened PRISCILLA told my mother there was no manager as I told you yesterday(how my mom knew it was her) my mom asked for her name and she said I don't need to tell you that and she hung up the phone on her. This is not the service she deserved from this lady. It was also my moms first time at this jiffy lube. So disappointed with this service. My mom called again after she hung up and said they're having "electrical difficulties" so no one else can speak with her. Truly awful customer service. They do not carry 20/50w conventional oil. I asked over the phone if they knew any place that did carry it. The Jiffy Lube in Arcadia used to have it but has been backordered for months. The guy on the phone said I could buy my own oil at the AutoZone across the street and he would just charge me labor. Now you would think that means after you spend 20 bucks on 5 quarts of oil across the street the cost would be about 20 bucks less, right? Noooooo. It is 45 bucks for an oil change (already a rip off price nowadays) with their oil and filter and full service. Bring in your own oil and filter. What is the price? $45!!! What a load of bull hockey! They wasted my time. Luckily found Valvoline on Rosemead and Las Tunas carries 20/50w, Plus was able to get a Groupon so oil change was $21.99. Now I just have to return the oil. Waste of my time and gas. read more

I've been frustrated with other Jiffy Lube stores over the years for all the reasons listed in these and other reviews. The company went through a rough patch a few years ago, and it seems that old memories die hard among some folks. I get it. My experience at this particular Jiffy Lube store has been positive. Truth be told, I have a two year free maintenance deal with my dealership, so I really have no excuse going to Jiffy Lube other than Poor planning on my part, as well as the convenience and time boost gained by spending a half hour here, instead of dropping off my car for half the day at a dealership. We have newer vehicles, and I hate getting oil changes anyway, so the price tag for synthetic stings a little less when you consider we can go 7000 miles before worrying about another oil change. I can usually find a $10 or $15 off coupon online while waiting in the lobby, and the guys there have always honored it, even after I signed an "estimate"... estimates for auto repair are required by California law. Maybe having new cars here means I've never had one of these guys push a dirty air filter in my face in the lobby or tried to upsell me anything. Maybe Jiffy Lube's corporate-level previous fun dealing with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (bar.ca.gov) had made them change their practices and training. Either way, I've enjoyed expeditious service here and no games. Also, you can always just say, "No thank you" to those requests for engine flushes and wiper blades and rear differential service. Then say "no thank you" again. $80 for an oil change always feels steep, even with the coupon... but price compare it to having your engine seize and requiring replacement. You can always go save a few bucks at an automotive store by picking up a filter and filter wrench and your own oil and an oil pan and then find a place to take your used oil, and risk ruining your driveway and a favorite tshirt. Me? I just assume trust these guys to handle all that for me, treat me with a level of professionalism and courtesy that is more than acceptable, and not worry about the DIY cost savings. read more

My friend said Jiffy Lube has very nice services but I went there today and felt very ridiculous service...I wanted to get some tire air pressure. At first, a man said okay and want me to park closer. Then, as I was adjusting my car, he came back and said they had more cars now, insisting that I move to the back to wait....if you have a lot of cars then why is there 2 or 3 people doing nothing but just standing there? I also saw a mechanic standing at the back just talking and laughing.... And furthermore, the guy had enough time to inflate my tires while he was telling me these things. I felt very racist. Been coming here for my last 3 oil changes, and will come here for my next. Staff here is polite and careful with your car. They make suggestions or upsells, but significantly less than other establishments. Also, once you say your not interested they don't keep hassling like other places. My car is lowered, and they took the time to make sure my car carefully cleared the ramp to get over the working pit. All 3 experiences were better than any I had at other oil change spots in the area... hope it continues. read more

We've needed an oil change for a while, and their sign that advertises a 15-minute oil change on the way to my husband's work caught his attention first. The place was surely true to its promise, but I must add that there was nobody waiting when I arrived. I am guessing that the wait time consists of waiting for your turn (however long that is), but once they get to you, it really does take only fifteen minutes to do it. Nevertheless, it was impressive that they care enough to keep their promises. The customer service was top-notch. Frank took his time explaining every detail of the service in much-needed layman terms for someone like me who doesn't know much about cars. I opted for the full synthetic oil, which is 89.99, and includes them checking your transmission, your tires, etc. They applied a $15 off coupon, so ended up paying only $80 with taxes included. After they're done they give you a detailed printed report of everything they checked. Again, Frank went over the printed report as well and highlighted the red flags for me to be able to go over with my husband later. I definitely recommend this place and intend to return for the next oil change. I wish all car shops were like this! read more

Came in today for an oil change, since it was close to my house. This place is located on the corner of Temple City blvd & Valley. You basically drive in and get your oil changed. Pretty easy breezy. The mechanical tech (Gilbert) was pretty cool. He was pretty informative and very persuasive (so beware). The prices seem a little too much, but I'm not sure-- but the service was pretty awesome. Glibert literally went through my car and detected everything that was wrong with my car (how cool)! Overall, my experience was nifty. I spent roughly $60 for an oil change. Service was great and I'll definitely come back-- but I'll definitely need to shop around first since the prices seem a little high. read more

Took my Charger RT in for a synthetic oil change. Was greeted by Martin who was very polite and helpful. Price was OK ($80 base price for synthetic oil - 5 quarts- Hemi takes a bit more). This is the ongoing rate for a synthetic change guys - you may get one for as low as $60 but not where I can find. I used the $10 Yelp coupon and was given a special promo from Penzoil for a $20 rebate plus a basketball (March madness baby)! Martin showed and explained everything they did - air, wiper fluid, windows and the oil level. He also explained if it's low they will too it off for free at any Jiffy Lube. Great service. Wait time was very short considering it was late Saturday afternoon. The waiting room was cool and comfortable. Well kept. The only reason it's not a 5 star is the average price for the synth oil change. Service was great. read more
