I bought their gift card from Costco.com with 25%off and deliver to my email and at the same time I went to the jiffy lube website and get another coupon for oil change. What a deal. Normally I change my motor oil at Pep Boys in temple city; but lately their service and attitude of the employees are getting worse and worse. So after they made me wait for my appointment I got fed up and took my business somewhere else. Martin and Jose at this place welcome me at my arrival and get my car service right away. What a difference? I don't have to spend my whole day at Pep Boys anymore just for oil change and now I gain a friendship and better quality of service and cheaper price. I'm seeing posts that I would assume are typical of the business model that are more in line with Corporate requirements; and thus lower marks. But... The guys working at Jiffy Lube at this Rosemead location are fantastic and went above and beyond. Regardless how some may feel about the advertising imposed on the franchises by corporate (which I agree are challenging). The team today did me right, and it wasn't even an issue that they needed to own. I was in this Jiffy Lube for the first time, having recently changed jobs, this was the closest location. I usually would go to the Pasadena location on Colorado Blvd (good guys there too by the way). Unless I'm having the car in the shop to fix something else, Jiffy Lube is the location I use for my regular maintenance. So I got my car serviced the evening of 10/2... This morning (10/4) my car started to jitter and shake when it was idling... The lights on my dash started to flash and I was just a mile from the office. I was a panic. When I parked, the oil light was flashing off and on... What the heck was going on. I checked the oil (without letting it settle) and mis-read the dip-stick. I called the store and told them of my concern that the oil was very low. They asked me where I was; and as soon as they could they would send someone over. It wasn't but 10 or 15 minutes latter that I got a call they were next to my car in the parking lot and could I come out, so they could check the car. He checked the oil. It was fine. I asked him to check it again. He did and showed me it was reading full. It was. I asked him if I could start the engine. I did. He then heard the car stuttering and hissing. He said, it sounds like a vacuum leak, and proceeded to locate the problem. A hose had a hole in it. Long story cut short. The Jiffy Lube team helped me solve a problem that wasn't their's to solve. And the store called me later to make certain everything was okay. I let the caller know that I thought their man needed a raise, as he went above and beyond my expectations. The team provided excellent customer service. And they earned my respect and trust. I have shared my story with my office mates... and now I'll share it with Yelp. Thanks Guys! read more

I went to this jiffy lube for the first time to get an oil change and they left my cars skid plate hanging off. I didn't realize this until I was on the freeway and I heard it dangling hitting the pavement. Scary experience. Now I have to waste more time out of my day going back here to get it fixed. Initially i went for my oil change which was done fine i just wasn't satisfied with what was put about my wipers being OK when they in fact weren't good. I received the emailed survey, filled it out and a few hours later the store manager Gilbert contact me to ask what was going on. I explained the situation and told him how i wasn't sure about returning since they didn't even check my wipers properly and I'm supposed to trust the oil change they did. I let him know they did no damage or anything my issue was the whole wiper blade thing. He told me to go in and he'll take care of the problem for me and i did. They replaced my blades for me (thank goodness because with the rain coming it was a MUST for me to get done.) they also went above and beyond and fixed the actual wiper that was not working at all! Gilbert, the manager, was nice & so were the workers who helped fix this minor issue. I will definitely go back because with them going out of their way i feel and believe they DO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS! Thank you Gilbert & the rest who helped today. I was visiting from NorCal when my battery died. I coasted into this jiffy lube for help and they quickly replaced my battery but my debit card declined since I was out of town and my bank thought it was stolen. I started walking half a mile to 7-11 to the ATM when Jose the technician drove up and offered me a ride to the ATM so I didn't have to walk a mile. I am beyond pissed. I never take my car anywhere to get serviced besides jiffy lube and my car usually tells me when something is wrong and I'm a type of person to get it checked right away. So yesterday my car was acting weird to start. It was late and I told myself the first thing I'm gonna do in the morning was go have my car checked cause the last thing I wanted is to be stranded with my 1 1/2 year old. So as planned I woke up and got ready and my car would not start. So I popped my hood to see maybe my car needed water or something and sure enough there's a GLOVE stuck and melted to my battery! I am thankful it didn't catch on fire. Make sure to check your cars when getting serviced. I would hate for something to happen to anyone. I'm usually not someone to complain or make a big deal about things but this is not ok. It put my life and my sons and whoever gets in my cars life in jeopardy. Totally recommend!! I'm a little picky on customer service and when dealerships try try to oversell me, it can be a little irritating. It was about 20 minutes before closing . I've been in need of an oil change for a used car I purchased about 3 months ago . They not only found what was last done on the car by the previous owner but they did a full inspection along with the synthetic oil change, noticed there was missing bolts on the radiator fan, replaced them, topped off my fluids, and filled me in on some recommendations with no pressure at all AND actually showed me WHY they had these recommendations. True genuine service . Whereas a lot of mechanics will just tell you what they you "need" . Overall, great experience, amazing customer service .(My services were performed by Leo and Juan) I couldn't be more happy. Will be returning for future services ! read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube to get my oil change since it was a couple weeks past due. My regular mechanic was closed because I have been working nonstop while he was opened. I decided to come here to get an oil change because I thought why not, it couldn't be that bad. I paid $38 for a regular oil change and was told they checked my tires and vacuumed my car. They did vacuumed it but one week later, my car's alert for low tire air pressure was on. My boyfriend checked it for me and told me that my tires were so low on air that if I had driven a few more days I would have gotten into an accident.....I am going to take off work to go to my regular mechanic from now on. At least I trust them enough to do the things they say they were going to do. read more

I came here for an oil change and they were very polite at first. However when I got home my oil was still very dirty. I had gone 5 months with out changing my oil so I thought maybe it was that but when speaking to a friend they informed me that still shouldn't happen. When I called Jiffy Lube the next day I was greeted by the manager Gilbert, when I told him about the situation he immediately got defensive and proceed to point the finger at me. He offered I bring the car back so he could show me they, "did the oil change." You see the thing is my car is a 2013 Hyundai Accent these engines are made to prevent clogging. But he even insisted I probably needed and Engine Flush, which is actually not the best thing to do on newer cars. I took the car in to get the oil changed again and to everyone's surprise IT CAME UP CLEAN!!! so NO I wouldn't recommend coming here and if you do make sure they're doing the oil change right or check after that they are emptying out everything because its very unprofessional to have to make someone come back twice for something that should've been done right the first time! read more
