So in March I got a BMW 550i & the day after I took it to Jiffy lube (BELFLOWER CA WHO DID A GREAT JOB NO ISSUES) to service the car. I use the car as a daily driver & I always spoil my cars with the best oil & best parts. So anyways, I took my car back to Jiffylube off Valley Blvd in Rosemead, because my car needed another oil change (because my car is a daily driver) so they changed the oil & they used the wrong oil filter that THEY INSTALLED ( yes it was forced into place) & on my way to work up To Modesto Ca & then while I was driving up my car just gave out without warning & then I was stuck on the Northbound 99 on the right shoulder for about 3 hours before I could have AAA tow my car to BMW. The dealer (BMW MODESTO CA) says the reason for the car breaking down is due to a wrong oil filter. Now I had to deal with two different guys that work in Jiffy lube of Rosemead Ca THE MANAGER Gilbert & the DISTRICT MANAGER Fernando who both act like dont give two dimes about my situation. Now you can imagine how furious I am & believe me I've had a headache everyday since it happened. I can't sleep, I cant eat (as much) I'm stressed out to the fullest & not knowing if they are gonna fix it or tell me they not responsible for it. If I had hair I would be tearing it out. I hate being the dark about this, i honestly feel like they are dragging they feet on this, it's been almost a week & still didn't know anything. BMW says the car needs a new engine & its gonna be $15k to replace it. They are pretty much washing they hands & saying it's not they fault. Now they are saying they not gonna fix it... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY WILL BLOW UP YOUR CARS ENGINE!!! read more

I always hope I find a place that is honest and I can trust. I brought my car in for a routine oil change. In the process they checked the fluid levels and told me my antifreeze level was low. They asked me if I would like it filled up which I agreed assuming they would top it off with antifreeze. As I watched them work on my car, I saw them add water to the radiator. Ugh. Just ugh. So I had been learning how to drive and was ready for my driving test! WOOHOO. I was super excited and the gal who was teaching me how to drive.. her car's tail light was busted. So we went to stop by before going in for my test to check it out. Guy came out, checked the light and said, "Hey it's working perfectly fine!" We just assumed the gal's mum stole her car(as she often does for car washes, oil changes, etc). So we left being like oh yipeee! I mean come on, he works there. You would trust the guy right? So we went to the DMV and while they were checking out the car's functions and stuffs, they were like hey. Your tail light is out. Woooow... wow. So yeah. That's an AUTOMATIC FAIL. We went back, pissed. Extreeemely pissed. I definitely gave that guy a piece of my mind. I'm sure EVERYONE knows how annoying it is to schedule a driving test. And I have a very busy schedule which made it even more annoying. Not only that, I was going to get a very friendly raise for getting my license(obviously new tasks and responsibilities). When they even checked the light itself, they were like oh wow. It is totally burned out. There is no way it was working.. or could be working. The change was free but come on.. geez. Honestly, our fault. We should have had checked for ourselves before being like OH GOOD, everything's okay. But you know, obviously. We trusted this worker... I mean, why would they just say ok it's all ok and not mean it? But yeah.. if you get service here.. make sure you double check before driving off. Because things might be messed up. Things are not done in a jiffy. With no cars in front of you, expect to wait at least 45 min for your oil change even if they tell you it will only be 20 min. Go to The Oilmen a couple of blocks away, 1/2 the price and 1/2 the wait. They do vacuum you car a little and clean your windows so that's a plus. And the customer service is good. read more

After visiting an oil change shop in Rosemead and getting a ridiculous price tag for it I decided to google my local Jiffy Lube spot. I came to this location with no real expectations other than to get my service and get out. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a gentleman named Frank with a smile and a pleasant tone. He was very friendly and helpful with everything. I'm always pretty skeptical going to auto shops alone because I am a woman but he treated me with great customer service and helped me pick the best deal for my service. He didn't push any over priced options on me like the other location had done. I highly recommend coming here for your auto services and ask for Frank if you can but if you can't get him all the other gentleman here we're just as friendly! Went in for just an oil change and Martin was super helpful with what he recommended what oil change was best for my car. Showed me the level of oil I was at even before even doing the change and made some recommendations on what I should fix in the future. Definitely knew what he was talking about. Oil change went fine BUT they removed all the wheel covers to check the tires air pressure. When we drove away two of the hub caps fell off and broke within half a mile. This never happened before in years of owning the car. We called to complain and the attendant told us that there was nothing they could do. Not even apologetic. Why are you removing wheel covers in the first place if you cant put them back correctly??? read more

He said that's what they recommend I said it's a frigging ford ! I want see my last receipt . I went in today because I know I needed an oil change since my maintenance required light was on for at least a day, so I looked this place up. The reviews here are top notch and I I decided to come in. I didn't know what to expect because my friends boyfriend does my oil change and I know nothing about cars. I was welcomed with a friendly hello from Frankie, I've seen his name on a lot of the reviews for this location, I told him I needed an oil change and he said no problem just to bring the car around and he will get me started. He asked if I've ever been here before and I said no, so he explained to me the services they offer and prices, he also said to check online for their coupons which I already did. I told him I got the $5 off one and he said he could get me the $15 since it was my first time here. I was pretty happy with that, like who doesn't like to save money. I didn't know how much an oil change would cost or which one I needed, he checked the car and recommended one for me, it sounds about right because I have a car from 2006 and it's a high mileage vehicle. Right before he was almost done he brought me back out to show me what needed changing and recommended other services. I told him I would keep that in mind for another visit. The oil change was complete and the service was done, I was at the register ready to pay and he showed me a list on the print of what was done and for next time what is recommended. My daughter's car needs an oil change and it is Sunday so searched on line and found there is a Jiffy Lube near my house that is open. We went there and Marco helped us and we were out of there in 20 minutes. Marco explained everything that they did and recommended what we need to watch for in the future. Needed a tail light fixed. Pulled in and told to go to dealer. They don't do that kind of thing, the guy told me. I looked at the guy and said "That's funny I've been coming here for 4 years and you have already changed 3 lights." He replied, "I mean, its to much work, we cant do it right now". They were servicing two cars at the time... no one else in line. The next day I had a family member who manages a service department at a dealer look at my car and showed me all the wrong things they have been doing to my car. 1. The clamps to enclose the air filter were unlatched 2. One of the clamps was broken 3. Air filter wrong size... did not fit, Jiffy Lube never told me just left it open, I had them work on it a week prior 4. Motor Oil in places it did not belong.... they had been overfilling it. My car was sluggish, and shutting off due to air getting into places it did not belong... and I was told it could of really messed up my car. Prior I had minor problems with Jiffy Lube and employes leaving things loose and check engine lights going off but figured accidents happen. But this was way to much to ignore. Never going back. Stay away. Jiffy Lube told me to go too the dealer. Thanks for the advice I am sure I'll be better off. read more
