By far the most slowest oil change place in Texas. Lazy workers and they don't know anything they are doing. Don't waste your time here.

They not only completed my oil change quickly, but also took the time to inspect a few other things on my vehicle. Edmundo noticed that I needed a headlight replaced and new windshield wipers, and they helped take care of that during the visit. They were also thoughtful enough to offer coupons, which helped keep the cost reasonable when adding those items onto my oil change. When I went to ask about the rings, Benito mentioned it was actually his training day. It was really impressive to see Edmundo guiding him and setting him up for success, making sure everything was done correctly and that the service stayed efficient. It showed great leadership and teamwork. I'm also about to go on a road trip this weekend, and without me even mentioning it, Edmundo made sure my car was ready for the weather and safe to drive until my next oil change. That level of care really stood out to me, especially since my vehicle is over 23 years old. I truly appreciated their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Thank you Edmundo and Benito for making sure my car is road-trip ready!

I called this location a while back to see if they had time for me to drive up (10 minutes) to get an inspection. I was told to come on up. Got there and there was a vehicle in front of me. Gentleman came out and explained it would be 30 minutes. I told him thank you and left. This happens. Business's get busy. Decided to drive by today. When I got there, another gentleman came out and let me know it would be about 30 minutes. So I asked why? He told me that they were having problems completing the vehicle in the building in front of me. I told him I understood. I asked if I could go get my grocery pickup from Walmart and come back in 30 minutes? He said yes. I left, pick up groceries, dropped them off at my house and was back 3 minutes early. A different gentleman came out and let me know it would 45 minutes now. I told him I was told that I could come back in 30 minutes. He went in the building and then came back out. Told me that it would be an hour. I have now wasted my fuel and my personal time twice! Never again! This is ridiculous. This place is horrible. Beware!!!

(They are closed on weekends.) They're very friendly in person too and offer a very clean and comfortable waiting area with recliners, a giant tv (Ghostbusters was playing, which definitely beats the news!). There are interior restrooms and complimentary coffee and water. The air conditioning is going so if you're chilled easily bring a sweater. If you run hot you should be comfortable! It was impressed on me that these repairs were critical for safety. The person on the phone even made comments about how glad they were that we were safe as the brakes were metal on metal, etc.The written estimate that arrived was much higher and still had these things listed as critical along with a few smaller issues. When I requested an itemized breakdown and compared parts prices to AutoZone retail, I found parts were marked up over 2x retail across the board. When I called to ask about this, prices dropped immediately without any additional information from me. It took them over night to send the original estimate but the new one arrived within minutes of my texting. I ultimately approved only the wheel bearing and lug stud repair and negotiated the price down. The actual safety critical item, one lug nut holding the wheel on, was buried after the full upsell menu was presented. Several items were listed as critical on that quote that they later said were not actually critical. I posted anonymously in a local group asking for honest mechanic recommendations. The owner identified me by my comments, I guess, and referenced my vehicle publicly to signal he knew who I was. I feel as if this might have been an attempt to get me to remove my anonymous post. Multiple other folks in the comments described identical experiences including false "metal on metal" urgency that softened the moment they pushed back. The work was done and we picked up the car this morning. The process to get to that point was frustrating. Since I only see good reviews I wanted to offer another perspective. The staff is very nice and the banter when we came in was fun. But nice is not the same as honest. I would advise anyone using this place to check retail prices of parts. And since they always offer better prices with push back, everyone who deals with them should question their prices. Some labor costs were good and some were listed at the high end for the area but not ridiculously so. The biggest price "padding" was in the parts themselves. The work seems good at this time, if you want to pay extra for parts in order to be treated nice in a fancy waiting room, I suppose it's worth it to pay more for that service but it's a nah from us. Thanks.

He comes in after looking at the car and proceeds to tell the couple who was going to buy my car that the vehicle has some serious issues. One of his major concerns? The wiper on the back window needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that there were problems with the brakes, shocks and that the car would shake uncontrollably when applying the brakes after getting it up to 60 MPH on the highway. The prospective buyer and I took it for a ride after his crazy rant and none of the issues happened that he described, especially the shaking. He also mentioned that the tires (which I had purchased 10 months beforehand) were dangerously low on tread. I smelled a scam from the start and took the car to a mechanic by my house right after I left the "Oil Well". The mechanic there looked it over for 20 minutes and told me he found no issues with the brakes or the tires. He said that the shocks MIGHT need to be replaced in 20 or 30k miles but that all shocks are worn and these were no worse than most cars. I had a feeling that the owner of the Oil Well was trying to come up with an expensive list of issues to get the potential buyers to spend $1500 to fix the car when it wasn't even needed. Thanks to the scam, I now know that there is nothing wrong with my car that you wouldn't normally see on an 8 year old vehicle. If you've ever worried about being ripped off by a mechanic, stay far

From…read moreprevious replacements, I was expecting - no, make that "I was dreading" - the repair costs to be around $450/window. At least that was what I had been charged previously by another mechanic company who was not as gentle as the name of their company would indicate. Frantic for a way to save on the cost, I asked Carl if he could "stake shut" my windows or use cut-cost components. Thankfully, he explained to me that those were probably not the best solutions; used components would likely soon fail, and even to stake shut the windows would cost in labor more than I was hoping to spend. He asked if I could give him time to come up with a quote, and he called me back with a price that was - after tax and a State Inspection - less than half of what I had expected to pay for the work! Not only was the work done inexpensively, it was done well. Instead of the hobo hillbilly fix that I had initially suggested, I have functioning power windows, professionally maintained. The mechanic even gave me tips as to why the windows likely failed and how to keep it from happening in the future. Definitely will return.
