Started a claim for me and got someone from the location to drive some coolant to me. After that, I drove to the take five location the manager there took amazing care as well fully topped out my coolant and my oil no charge. When I returned to Take 5 #0206 in Pflugerville on 8/12 for my next service, Luke and Joe showed me that the dipstick was not fully inserted and there was no oil showing on it. They also showed me oil splattered throughout my engine compartment and that the plug/cap that should have been replaced had not been replaced. They used Take 5's coolant testing tool and showed me that my coolant required a flush, despite the 4/13 service documentation stating it had been checked and was safe. I contacted corporate on 8/13 and again on 8/18 after receiving no response from the Round Rock location. I was told each time to wait 48 hours for the district manager. I have also continued trying to contact the Round Rock location directly, but have received no response. As of 8/22, no one has contacted me. I feel taken advantage of as a customer because I trusted Take 5 to properly service my vehicle. I did not believe I needed to get out of my truck and independently inspect the dipstick or the work performed, especially when Take 5 advertises a "Stay In Your Car" service. I trusted that the employees performing the service would properly complete and verify their work. This is my daily vehicle, and I need to ensure there are no issues or damage resulting from the service. I am simply trying to get this matter resolved and ask that someone from management or the franchise owner please contact me directly to discuss a resolution.

Showed him the app that had my policy. He was kind enough to escort me to their waiting area. Another gentleman came in to collect my contact information and discuss different aspects of my car due to its age/mileage. Great and comfortable conversation. A 3rd gentleman came in the office to let me know my car was completed and collected payment. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Talk about service! Based on that, I assumed it had passed. It wasn't until I went inside to pay that I was told the vehicle had actually failed. If that was the outcome, I would have expected the technician to just tell me directly instead of acting like everything was fine the entire time. Being smiled at and reassured out on the floor, then getting different news at the register, felt misleading. I still had to pay for the inspection despite the disconnect between how I was treated and what I was actually told. I'd rather have straightforward communication from the start than a good mood that doesn't match the outcome.

I do…read more Well, this morning, I took my wife's car here to have them check the brakes because of a squeeking sound coming from one wheel. The car has 37000 miles on the odometer. After a not too long wait, the service sales person came over and gave me an estimate on replacing brakes and rotors. He then stated that a squeeking sound isn't always a sign of needed repair and that I could get another 40 K miles out of my existing brakes. I guarantee you that there are several companies in my area that would hav told me that I needed to do the job right now. I have been to this Sun Auto several times and will continue to bring my business here.

This team has offered the BEST auto service I've ever experienced thus far…read more My car decided to not start while I was out running errands and I was really nervous about having to spend so much money on towing AND diagnostic testing so soon after just making another large purchase on a repair I needed. I spoke with Alan C. on multiple occasions before finally deciding to just get a quote for towing and everything to going forward with it to get it over with (I didn't really have a choice at this point). Alan was patient and so informative about pricing, timing, and everything. Once he found out how close I was to the business (literally a 2-minute walk), he and another team member, Josh, drove out themselves and jumped my car so I could drive it around the corner to the shop for further inspection. I saved sooo much time and money because of this courtesy, they did not have to do this, yet they did. I was able to get in and out in under 30 minutes with a new battery, a cheaper inspection to make sure my battery wouldn't give out again, and some further recommendations for my next service so that the quoted prices would be saved in their system. I had an EXTENSIVE amount of brakes work done on my Nissan Altima back in 2023: Front and back…read morerotors, discs and pads all replaced. Granted my car is 13 years old so it was time for some brake work. I came in since the brakes would squeak every time I reversed. Car ran fine and give or take a few months into it, I heard the reverse brakes squeak again. I took it for review and was advised this is common for older cars especially in the mornings. I hardly drive my Altima since I work from home. Just got back from a road trip and the squeaky began again. This time, I took it for a second opinion: Nissan Dealership in Round Rock: They advised me all rotors, discs and pads will need to be replaced again. I advised them I had all that work done before. Unfortunately, the rotors were discolored due to contamination from packing protection oil prior to installation. I called Express Oil change and spoke with Tony. Since its been more then 12 months since the brakes were done, there was nothing that can be done. Tony also stated this could be caused from going through car washes and the solutions they use can stick to the brakes causing further harm. DON'T GO HERE FOR BRAKE WORK. STICK WITH YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIPS WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have a mechanic named Tyler who knows a lot about all vehicles but especially 4runners so I knew I was in good hands. They changed out my front and back shocks to bilstein 5100s, replaced my tie rods and front lower control arms, added spacers, and also did an alignment. I'd honestly had issues with the wheels rubbing since I bought it last year and was happy how Dylan (the manager) worked with me to walk me through everything that was needed and gave me a very fair price.

I always use synthetic oil and WIX oil filters. One or more yelpers have already mentioned they use 3rd world oil filters, which I just don't trust. If I'm going to get an oil change, I'll use a dealership and pay a little extra to get it done right. That's especially true if you have an expensive import car like a Lexus or BMW. So why am I here? I came here to get my inspection (normally I use Koenig lane inspections, but I was in this area) and at the first and end of the month you can expect to sit in a line at one of their three bays. However, it's also likely that car in front of you is going to get an oil change, which means you'll be waiting for that as well. Apparently, there is not one line for inspections and another for oil changes. With one car in front of me getting an oil change, my total wait time was over 20 minutes. Inside the office, you'll see a list of other services they offer along with free popcorn for waiting. There's a tip jar on the counter if you think they did a good job.
