This place was great at one time. I don't know what's going on but today wasn't their day. Came in for tire mount and balance on four tires. They didn't mention that the balance machine was broken and when I ask if the tires had been balanced the tech said yes, this after me watching him just put the tires back on. The tech then became unhappy and it all went downhill from there. I spoke with the Manager and he was not interested. My husband, myself, our 7-year-old son, and our infant daughter pulled into the parking lot and rolled down the window to tell the employee that we needed a simple oil change. He was on his phone, smoking a cigarette, and responded, "Uh, yeah, just give me a minute." He continued scrolling on his phone and smoking, while another employee walked up, and they started bantering back and forth. The first employee then yelled and asked us to go wait inside. My husband asked why, explaining that our daughter was asleep and we'd prefer to stay in the car. The employee hesitated and said, "Uh, well, we just like for you to wait inside because it's going to get loud." My husband and I were confused, as we've never experienced a simple oil change that "gets loud." The two employees continued smoking and talking while we sat in our car. Ultimately, my husband decided we were going to leave. We backed up and drove off. Funny enough, the sign in front of the building in big bold letters read, "Please stay in your car for a Jiffy oil change." I took in my 22 KIA after a place closer to my house...I swear...said, "We are not sure if we know the right oil or filter, but we can try. " The car is nearly 2 years old. Please be aware of @jiffylube ! I took my SUV into store #3306, located on 13803 Nacogdoches Rd. San Antonio, TX 782171 on August 6, 2019, and was robbed by @jiffylube!! I picked my vehicle up from @CarMax on August 5, 2019, after they had replaced my left caliper and engine mounts. They informed me that my rotors and brakes needed to be replaced to get rid of vibrations that were coming from the left front of the vehicle. The following day, August 6th, my husband was at @jiffylube getting his oil and brakes changed along with getting his rotors turned. He asked how much it would cost to get my brakes replaced and new rotors installed. We were quoted $300, and I asked him to make sure we were going to get new rotors, and they were not going to just get turned. Well, 2hrs later and our vehicles were done. I asked the assistant manager to please drive my car over 40mph because the vibrations kick in above 40mph when I brake. He took my SUV out and stated he felt vibrations from the right front of the vehicle. He took the SUV back into the shop and came out about 30 mins later. He pulled me outside and stated the right caliper was sticking and that I needed to have it replaced. He also noted the ball-joints needed to be tightened. He so graciously offered to work on it the following more and that he would take care of me for $150 CASH. I thanked him and told him I would think about it. The following day, August 7, 2019, I arrived at @CarMax around 8:00am and demanded to speak to a manager. I couldn't believe that my right caliper now needed to be replaced and wondered why @CarMax did not check both calipers when they had my vehicle for about a week! They took my vehicle in and gave me a loner. Within a few hours, they called me back and stated my ball-joints were fine, the right caliper was fine, and instead, my rotors had NOT been replaced! They had only been swapped, the left rotor was on the right and vice versa! WOW!! I immediately took my SUV back to @jiffylube and confronted the assistant manager, Mike. He insisted that the rotors had been replaced and that @CarMax was wrong, that they were just trying to get me to pay for more work. That didn't make sense as I have the extended warranty with @CarMax and they turned me away because they didn't have to do any work. We continued to argue for a bit, and then I told him I had pictures and that I could get @CarMax on the phone to explain their findings. He then all of a sudden "remembered" that he had told his employees to put the OLD rotors back on so that they weren't damaged by the malfunctioning right caliper. That insisted he was trying to look out for my best interest and that he was trying to help me out because I had been having so much trouble with my SUV. That also does not make sense as he NEVER told me the old rotors had been placed back on, he told me NOT to go back to @CarMax , and OFFERED to take care of everything if I returned the following day with $150 CASH. He then offered to put the rotors I had ALREADY paid for on my vehicle and that if I was not satisfied, he would refund me the $300 we had paid. He told me they closed in 20 mins and if I could leave the car or come back the following day. Are you serious?! Absolutely not, he had already wasted my time, my money, my gas, and had me possibly incur more damage on my car. What if I had been in a car accident??? I told him it was unfortunate and that I wanted the work done immediately. I no longer believed anything this man said. I told him I wanted the old rotors when they were done to ensure they didn't put the old ones back on again. I also told him that I would be going back to @CarMax to make sure the work they were saying was going to be done, actually got done. After they finished working on my vehicle, I requested a refund for the hassle, the waste of time and money, possible additional charges from @CarMax for having them repeatedly conduct diagnostic testing on my vehicle, and for purposely attempting to defraud me!! Now, he stated that the work was done and that there was no longer any vibration (proving that had they done the work I paid for I would not have had to spend an additional day of running around), and that it would take up to a month to POSSIBLY get my money back. What happened to if I was not satisfied, he would refund me the $300? Not to mention, I'm now wondering if they actually changed my husband's car's oil and brakes along with getting his rotors turned. Do I need to go to @CarMax to have them check his vehicle as well? How shameful! Is this standard practice for @jiffylube ? How many other customers have been defrauded by them? Have there been any accidents because of their callousness and greed? @jiffylube needs to address my concerns and refund me my money! This is 100% unacceptable! read more

Well, after 1 hour and 12 minutes my car was just returned to me. I brought the car in for standard service and a State Inspection at 10:18 am. While waiting I watched service (loosely named) personnel slowly wander around the shop and occasionally. work on a car, mine and 2 others. I saw no supervision or desire to keep the customer happy. When I brought the car in for service I was met with little respect. After 35 minutes I was called up for questions on what quality oil I wanted. The person tried to force me into the highest price oil saying my Buick could only use that grade oil and they would not guarantee any lessor grade.?? This employee could hardly speak clearly (2 other customers agreed). After this conversation, I continued to wait, watching 2 other customers, that arrived shortly after I did, get their cars and leave shortly before I finally was able to. I was told my car was finally finished at 11:29! I purposely did not question the delay, but wanted to see just how much the quality of service had deteriorated since I previously visited this store. I've been using the 18302 Nacogdoches location for several years now for my trucks oil changes, filter changes, tire rotation, and state inspections. Never had a problem until last month when I brought my wife's car in for inspection. I know to enter front right and ran over the notification bell and lined up along the curb and waited for the attendant. It was around 8:30am. There was only one car in the service bay and me and only me waiting in the inspection line. After about 5-10 minutes with nobody coming to see me, I wondered if they still did inspections. I got out of my car and questioned an employee. He said yes. I thanked him and asked if I was parked in the inspection line. He confirmed that I was so I went back and sat in my car. After another 10 minutes finally an attendant came out and asked for my insurance card. I gave it to him and in frustration made the comment "I was wondering if you were ever going to come out". His comment back was they were very busy, with attitude. Still one car in the service bay. I questioned His response "One Car!!" With attitude. While he was writing down my Lic.plt# i quickly made my decision to no longer do business with Jiffy Lube. In leaving I made the comment let me have my insurance card back and would be getting my car inspected somewhere else. He responded Good!with attitude. $77 later a oil change and new air filter. The 21 point inspection... looks like I missed out on that. I noticed they didn't put a new window sticker on wind shield, didn't reset dash board no air was checked in tires they say they put in at 35 psi but tires ask for 39 I came in expecting to hear I needed new windshield wiper because one is a little worn but nothing was said. I always take my car here for an oil change. ALWAYS. Is the price a little higher? Yes but not by much, maybe a few dollars and they always check and top off fluids and vacuum your car. Who wouldn't pay a few extra dollars to have a clean car and clean oil? Plus they usually spray some sort of air freshener so it smells nice too. One tip I have found though, always go online and Google Jiffy Lube coupons. That's what I do and at the very least I get 10% off and sometimes I get lucky and get a "full service" oil change coupon for $24.99. It's definitely worth the time. The time is another thing that's important, Jiffy Lube is fast. That's the number one reason to fork over the extra couple bucks. You get in, get out and keep on going about your day. It's taken as little as 25 minutes and that's actually the average time I spend there. You can help yourself to popcorn while you wait too, just be careful and take small bites. Two of the four employees were clearly bothered everytime a customer arrived. I get it...it was close to closing time. Maybe they were having a rough day. I know I was. Brought both of my parents' vehicles here for oil changes. One requires a synthetic oil change and the other is fine with a conventional oil change. My parents always bring their vehicles here for the State inspection also. One of their managers, Josh, was very helpful in making sure to explain something I asked about regarding maintenance on their vehicles. The other employees were quick and attentive in their work. They got me in and out in good time. That is why we prefer to come here instead of driving all the way to the dealership. This is a great location to visit. They are polite. If they happen to have a busy day where is a wait or if you are just running errands, there is a shopping center next door to grab a bite (Mexican bakery, BBQ, Pho), trim you hair, or get your nails done. This location also has additional services that they didn't have before. They told me they also can take care of tires now and a few other things I have forgotten. Not so "jiffy." They did not open on time and took forever. I sat in my car for 15 minutes, in the bay (so it was my turn), before they even started working on my car. They moved so slow- I've never experienced such a long oil change. I waited over an hour and there was only 1 car ahead of me. I would have left, but I really needed my oil changed before a road trip. On top of the slowness, I saw one of the guys lick the sticker that they put on the inside of the windshield of another car I made sure he handed me mine so I could put it on myself.
