I have been waiting for an oil change for 45 minutes. These people lack a serious sense of urgency. While my car sits, other new customers would have their cars worked on though I had been first. Convenient location near home..I have never had to wait too long! The Manager is always very professional and Polite and she gets the job done Fast. Never had any Issues with the services. The last Oil change i had, i didn't realize how bad my windshield wipers where, until it was Brought to my attention. Within minutes i had new Wipers! been meaning to write a review since i went, but simply forgot. i went here to get an oil change a few months ago. i hadn't read the reviews until i was sitting in the waiting room waiting while they changed my oil. i was, like, oh shit!!! well, maybe they actually read the two bad reviews on here because my experience was not at all what the one-star reviews said. they were courteous and not condescending at all. they actually did vacuum my car (which i hadn't vacuumed since i got it over a year ago ...not that i'm proud of that ;). i ended up just getting the cheap oil change. there was no pressure to get a better one (though maybe my car needs it since it has almost 160,000 miles on it). they did tell me my air filter was dirty (which it really was), but when i asked how much it was, since i could just get one at pep boys down the street, the guy admitted that it was expensive. four stars out of five. i only knocked one star off for a combination of the higher cost of other services and the fact that it takes a bit longer than going to one of those 10-minute oil change places where you can just stay in your car. read more

Great place! Its not too far from my work, so I go here at lunch time. The staff are always courteous and professional. I finally decided to write a review after stopping in to get an oil change. One of the staffers pointed out that since I use synthetic, I still had several miles to go on my previous oil change. He offered to simply top off the oil (I brought my car in 'cause it was getting low) as well as air up my tires for free. I know this is a service Jiffy Lube offers repeat customers, but it was just nice that I didn't have to ASK for it. They could have taken my money and done an unnecessary oil change, but they chose to actually SAVE me money. Dude. I'm definitely coming back here again. read more

This Place Is great. The moment I pulled into the station the attendants were very polite I have never had my door opened by the employee's. The prices were fair and they were very detail orientated and willing to answer all my questions. I would like to thank the following employee's that made this experiece very enjoyable. Very unprofessional! Employees argue amongst themselves in front of customers using foul language. Not to mention the poor service of my vehicle. They always leave something off or undone. There I was met bet I team of bright, smiling people who got right to work on my car. They were quick, courteous, and professional. This is the worst Jiffy Lube location I've ever been to. The service was terrible and unprofessional. They seemed to talk down to me anytime I asked them questions. They did not even vacuum my floor mats after the oil change, which is supposed to be included in the service. They said their vacuum was broken. And they didn't pull my car out to the front lot when the oil change was complete. I had to drive it out of the garage myself. Had some spare time one day in San Leandro, so decided to get the oil changed. I've been to a couple of different Bay Area Jiffy Lube locations over the years and would rate the other's 4 stars or better, but this one... It was a record breaking oil change and tire rotation (time wise). But, when I got my car back, I found out why - there was oil on the door glass, door handle, leather driver's seat (had my business clothes on, good thing I noticed the oil before sitting down), steering wheel, parking brake, shift knob, floor mat and more! Plus the washer fluid was empty (receipt says fluid was added) and pressure in one tire was still low, makes me wonder about the tire rotation and oil change! I complained to the only other employee there at the time, but she did not seem very interested, and she did a poor job cleaning up SOME of the mess. I contacted Jiffy Lube Corp, they forwarded my complaint to the franchise and I received a voice message from the store manager, he wanted "my side of the story", when I returned his call I sat on "hold" for 10 minutes and then hung up. Above is "my side of the story". Even if service here was great it's unlikely that I'd use this location again, since I live in Concord. But, based on the extremely bad service, even if I lived next door to this store I would not take my car to them, if they paid me the $75.99 they charged I would not take my car to them, I will NEVER take my car to the San Leandro Jiffy Lube! I was very impressed with the staff and the service until a female staff person came in blasting her music on her cell phone IN THE WAITING AREA. IT WAS REALLY LOUD!!! I really like this Jiffy Lube because the staff is attentive and accomodating but this was ridiculous. I'll still go back but someone needs to talk to staff about professionalism. read more

Came in an asked for An oil change and Patrick was the first to help me good spirits and friendly attitude, said hello so kindly and asked how I was doing I was just so happy, especially being that I had a bad day, Patrick made it just a lil better. After I was in the lobby it was only 15-10 until they were done and as I left I still got the same attitude from the manager named ulisses. This place totaled my car with a simple oil change. The same day as the oil change, my car broke down on the side of the road. After towing to an auto shop- the mechanic shows me the MISSING drain plug. Jiffy Lube either didn't tighten or didn't put it back on after the oil change... complete negligence. My engine is dead. Honestly, I received excellent customer service while I was there. I didn't have to wait to be served, the oil change process was completed in less than 15 minutes, and the employees were respectful and courteous. I WILL return to this location again! read more

Worst jiffy lube. I went there two weeks ago for an oil change and was told all my fluids were full. Two days ago I find out that my windshield wiper fluid is completely empty. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND DID A HORRIBLE JOB. My first issue started when they gave me a quote over the phone saying it was only going to be $9.99. After they had finished the work they charged me $30! I told them they should have never gave me the wrong quote because if that was the case I would have never came here! I felt as is they schemed me and forced me to pay for that amount that I had no idea about! I came in to get my headlights changed and I had brought in my own light bulbs to do so. An African American lady had done the job, I wish I had gotten her name because I will definitely be reporting her to corporate. While she changed my headlights, she had NEVER informed me that some cable for the light is burned out and she never informed me that jiffy lube does not change bulbs if it isn't their own. A couple of days after I had gotten my lights changed here, one of my lights went out. I came back and had told them the issue and asked the same lady to fix it. She said she wouldn't and if she did then she would charge me again. Why am I being charged for a service that she didn't even do right in the first place! She lied to my face and told me that she informed me something was burned out causing the light to go out. If she really had informed me that, why would I tell her to just put the light in?! I would never tell someone to continue with the job if there is another problem! Also she told me that they don't install lights that is not their's and that she did me a "favor". I do not need any favors!! I need the job to be done right especially if I am paying! If that was the case from the beginning I would have never went to them! Also when I asked to speak to a supervisor, she lied and told me she was the supervisor. Later into our conversation, she gave in and had said she is not the supervisor! Also since I caught her in the lie of her telling me that she told me that a cable was burnt out, I had told her then why isn't that in the receipt! And also if it was burnt out, why would you even continue your job knowing it is broken! What if I was driving in the middle of the night and my lights went out and I drove off a cliff or got into a car crash! Anyways, I left because she was being completely rude to me and telling me all of these lies to my face to cover up her own mess ups and sneaky, scandalous ways! Also I asked her to give me a print out of her saying that she informed me cables were burnt, she told me she cannot do that because it's in the system and not for customers which doesn't make any sense if it is notes that you took about My car! After I left and brought it to another shop, they fixed it for me and told me that nothing is burned out and the light bulb was loose and not in all the way. So at the end of the day, I spent $30 to have my lights not put in right and to be told a bunch of lies to my face with horrible service and attitude. I seriously do not know who would hire that lady with that kind of attitude. You do not treat any paying customer like that! I am definitely taking this to corporate and will be on a mission to have corporate look into this worker. I have never felt the need to do this or go this deep into things like this but this worker seriously needs to get looked into my corporate. SHE is completely unprofessional, RUDE, dishonest, scandalous, sneaky, and can't even do her job right, scamming paying customers! I have definitely told everyone I know in this area to NEVER go to this jiffy lube and you can thank that horrible worker for that! read more

I like the introduction coming in there by the guy. Very great service by the two dudes, but when it came to the short hispanic female working the cashier, it was horrible. First off when she was supposedly calling me up it was no where near my name, i can understand that she was reading it of the computer but if i am not responding and there are other people there dont give out an attitude yelling "hello!!!!" nobody care about your mood whether you want to be at work or not. When i told her to change the name she still didnt change it because she wants to be lazy and have attitude. Get her out of there she is screwing your business up if she continues that attitude. I came in about 5 minutes before they closed in desperate need of an oil change. I went to another place that wouldn't take me since they were almost closed and these guys were nice enough to take me in. Not only that but the gentleman that helped me was extremely nicel. I think he was a manager or assistant manager. Either way very friendly and they got my car done quickly. I will definitely come back based on the great customer service I got. read more

5 stars! I needed an oil change before a long trip across state, so I decided to stop at the Jiffy Lube closest to the freeway. Pulled up and was greeted by the friendly staff who offered my oil change for a great price. (I usually pay $40+ elsewhere!) The manager offered me a coupon deal that I didn't even know was out, so I actually saved a lot more than I expected coming here! To me, thats what exceptional customer service is about! One thing I noticed that stood out about this store was that the staff actually seemed attentive and cared about making sure I had a safe trip and the proper oil change, as I know NOTHING about cars(it was pretty obvious) since I had my children with me! While waiting we enjoyed sitting in the lobby watching tv while waiting. (They have coffee and water inside their lobby!) I will definitely come back here form here on out! Ask for the manager, Tony I think, he knows all about getting you the best prices and best quality oil for your trip/car mileage! Good Luck! read more

It's not fair to have customers line up in one line, to allow, what appeared to be a friend pull in to an open space, and get service while other customers wait 20 min or more , just pathetic! This place is horrible. They didn't change my oil change sticker on my car, they didn't vacuum at all. When I asked, the service person said that their vacuum suction isn't good and that is why. They gave a faulty headlight and then tried to blame it on us, the day after. The manager was no more professional than his indifferent crew. My husband has been there twice and I once. We went there to give it second and third try's because it is so close. This had been over months. That is a fairly good research sample to show that this place is horrible. We will never go back, we will drive to another location from now on. The lackadaisical attitude is unacceptable. Staff seemed rude ,sloppy work, two blocks down the road and smoke pours in my ac vents from the oil spilled on the engine. I vowed not to return, went to another oil change facility for my next oil change & they told me that my drain plug was stripped and to go back to last place that changed the oil. So jiffy lube manager is blaming the other facility for stripping it. Manager could not remove drain plug either.. that they need to call regional manager to deal with it, after waiting one week and still no action . I think if nobody is capable of doing the repair on site or not having the proper equipment to do it the same day, than they shouldn't be working on my car.. period! I wound up doing the repair myself, I have an automotive background and am disturbed at the fact that this was NOT resolved right away, I will never shop san leandro jiffy lube again !! read more

I got up this morning it early to go get an oil change which is something I dread doing. First I went to the Jiffy Lube that's near my house on Castro Valley Boulevard ... there were a lot of people waiting there and the service was horrible . I have just given them their yelp review. I left there and went to another Jiffy Lube which is not near my house but worth the drive. I was help there by the manager a man named Ulises Reyes. He was extremely helpful told me all my options and I was out within 20 minutes. His customer service was excellent .Good service goes a very long way and I would always drive out of my way to go to this establishment over the one on Castro Valley Boulevard. He answered all my questions with patience and with knowledgeable about my car. I will be bringing my other car to get an oil change there as well next week. If you go there for service ask for the manager Ulises Reyes. You will get good service. I will recommend this establishment! read more
