I'll go to just about any Jiffy Lube, but I really like the team here I live right next to a Valvoline store in Encinitas and I refuse to go back These guys are always so nice courteous and Jiffy Lube in general does more than Valvoline or the other guys They top off and they give sound advice I recently had a bad battery and they noticed that somebody else had put my battery strap in under the battery They took an extra 10 minutes to fix it properly when they didn't have to Management should know these guys are great read more

Pro review: Came here a couple months back. Not only was the service weird but it took longer than expected. I'd say I know quite a bit about cars and all they were trying to do was get me to pay for a bunch of stuff so they can make some quick money off me. After the oils change was done I went to turn my car on and it completely sunk and shut down. After a few turns of the key my car started up but was acting a little weird. I had a 15 min drive down the street and my car begin to jerk back and fourth and by the time I arrived at my destination my car would no longer turn on. After two long hours of waiting I called jiffy lube and it turns out they unplugged my engine sensor. Anyone that knows about cars knows exactly what that could do. Imagine I crashed? Then why Mr jiffy? Not only was my money not given back but I wasn't really given an apology or any other benefits. To add onto that my maintenance light wasn't reset either. They tried to take advantage of me as a woman by trying to make me buy things not needed. I came and asked that they Only do a full sythetic oil change and add air to my tires to 36lbs psi (they were 34, 35, 35, 35) as everything else for the car is good and does not need checking. I was then told I should get a tire rotation, alignment, new wipers, and new cabin filter for the car. I explained that in the weeks prior I got new tires, an alignment, the tire rotation was not needed, I got new windshield wipers, new belts and hoses, new spark plugs, had all my fluids topped off, both filters for the car were replaced (including the new white cabin filter they showed me saying it was dirty & clogged so it needed replacement when it was clearly new and clean like it was just out of its plastic wrap) and new brakes pads and shoes were also just done. Jiffy Lube did the car oil and the car tires had been filled to 42lbs psi which was a problem because my tire wall max is 42psi! If I had driven more than a few miles and the psi raised 3-4 which is average on a hot day like the one I got the work done the tires could have popped with me and my child inside while driving! I had to pull over immediately and let air out of my tires to get them to the appropriate psi myself! I was upset not only because I was felt I was trying to be told to get things my car clearly did not need just because I was a woman, but also because my wishes of Only doing the oil change and tires to the psi I specified were completely ignored as they had taken parts apart to show me things they wanted to sell me and this took extra time to do my vehicle and I needed to get somewhere asap afterwards. Took my car here for its regular oil change. I know it's an oil change place and no one gets really excited to take their car in, but this place is just meh. I pulled in and sat in my car (they do the drive through oil changes). I was greeted by Jennifer who didn't even say hi. She said "so you said you want fully synthetic"? I was like I haven't said anything to anyone yet and I just want the basic oil change. I mean, it's not like I drive a super luxury car, it's a Hyundai lol! Leslie and Tommy were the ones up top checking the fluids and doing the work and they were great, especially Leslie who kept letting me know my fluid levels, etc. she was super sweet. Needed an oil change and I was nearby. Glad I chose this location the staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I wanted a quick and reliable oil change and that is exactly what I got. I was one of two cars there at the time, and a couple others arrived after me. I was pulled in right away. I asked about specials I seen online and they answered my questions. I told them what I needed and they said sure thing. I waited in my car while they did the oil change. I needed wipers changed too and they installed those for me while I waited. Has to be best oil change I've gotten in a long time, met the manager I believe, Tyrone, and had to thank him for running a great operation. Although I'm a bit faraway from this store, I'm up in north county often conducting business, I will definitely make it a point to come here for changes. The crew here is exceptional, taking my car early in the morning and generally giving a standard oil change 10-15 minutes turn around time. They keep you extremely well informed through out the entire duration of the procedure including changes in cost, care, and any problems with your vehicle. Their waiting room is especially nice with tons of seating and well-lit areas, fresh coffee, and water. Today, I brought in my 1990 Jeep YJ and the technician, Victor, immediately spotted that my serpentine belt was about to go out. Victor spotting this saved me boatloads because I normally keep this car in the desert and would have had significant issues had it broken and left me stranded. The manager, Leslie, immediately ordered it so I can come back tomorrow to have it replaced...inexpensively I might add. Also, since this vehicle is so old, they didn't have the filter in stock. I went to the Jiffy Lube on S. Rancho Santa Road in San Marcos this morning and was the first car in line before they opened. I had initial scheduled an appointment with my JEEP dealer but I've been somewhat unimpressed with that dealer so decided I'd give Jiffy Lube a shot, and I'm glad I did. As soon as the doors opened, I was directed into a bay and immediately checked in by Jennifer who was great. My technician Sean was also great and very conscientious of my car, and keeping things clean . They were both knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They performed a full synthetic oil change, checked everything over, and replaced the differential fluids on my Jeep. Overall a great experience, in and out in about 35 minutes total. Such nice staff! I have been there many times because my car leaks oil, and most recently because my system said I was low on coolant. When I asked them to top it off they showed me a video of what was wrong: my hose had blown and I was actively leaking coolant. They recommended I get to my mechanic immediately, and even told me the hose was a special order part for the model of my car. They gave me some coolant to get me home at no charge. The 3 guys that helped me out were super nice. Would highly recommend this location, have never had anything but great customer service there!!!! read more

I brought my truck in to get a much needed oil change. I normally have this done at another shop but I have been putting it off and this location is close to my work. The place seemed a little under staffed. When I pulled up there was no one there to greet me. I went inside and they told me to go back out to the front and someone will be there. They estimated my oil change to take about 45 mins but it got done in roughly 30 mins. The one thing that gave me a bad impression was when I went back into my truck. They put the floor mat in but didn't do anything for the seats or steering wheel. I could see reminisce of oil on the steering, center console, and the drivers side door panel. I appreciate the speed and convenience of the oil change but that is the only reason I gave them a score higher than 1. read more
