Well, I needed an oil change and I called the Washington Ave store in the morning to get the price. It was high, $130, all in. Wasn't sure that I would Jiffy Lube. Then, a discount coupon for $26 pops up from Jiffy Lube. So, total price was $104. A-OK. I show up there and show them the $26 coupon. They tell me total price will be $120. I say "That's not possible" and explain just what I said above. I was ticked off. After several back and forths, they said that manager said "best they could do was $109." I said "really, why was that?" No explanation. Regardless, it's the kind of thing that makes me want to want to go to Jiffy Lube. It's not the $. It's the attitude. ALl that had to say was "Sorry, we will honor the price you were given and with the discount coupon charge you $104." They didn't--and saved $5. Bad, very bad, business decision. read more

I'm more upset at myself, but this is a heads up to check pricing at other places first. I did not do this, and paid $30 plus more than I should have for a synthetic blend oil change for my 77,000 miled 2013 Ford Escape Titanium. Plus this $30.00 more included a $15.00 off coupon. When checking with my Ford dealer later they also had an in store coupon for 69.95 for the same exact oil change called "the works". I felt like prices everywhere have gone up so I figured this was standard cost. I was wrong, and I hope the rest of you will research a bit like I did not. I just was overdue and in a time crunch. I have had nothing major here numerous oil changes and the employees are really nice people and they do a really good job. Much like most Jiffy lubes throughout the country they really push the narrative to try to sell you product. Do you need a new air filter or you need a new this so you need a new that it gets a little irritating after a while knowing that when you walk through that door you're going to get bombarded with them trying to sell you some thing. But overall the people there do a nice job and you do get a good service you just have to plow through the unnecessary selling points. read more

These guys are absolute scam artists. The prices are higher than dealership costs and everything is an up sell. I pity anyone who comes here without a prior knowledge of car care. After multiple attempts to sell additional services and telling them explicitly I do not want specific services done they still went ahead and performed the services. The "estimate" was given AFTER they performed work and DOUBLE the oil change price. Wouldn't you provide an estimate BEFORE doing unnecessary work to confirm a customers wishes? Upon requesting the air filter and cabin filter be taken out they attempted to simply discount the services and tried claiming price equivalency to purchases. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone at all. Save yourself some time and keep on driving. read more

STAY AWAY from any Jiffy Lube location owned by South Bay Lube, Inc. on the west coast of FL. I got an oil change on my 2002 Malibu which I later learned had some rusted brake parts. Once they pulled my car forward it was clearly leaking brake fluid. I did not feel that I was treated very well, since I was asked to get my car out of the way even though it had a totally limp brake pedal. Long story short, I complained but let up when my mechanic said it was a problem waiting to happen. What really ticked me off was that South Bay Lube, Inc. would NOT refund the $25 I paid for the oil change. On principle, I am genuinely upset. Between being treated rudely and then having to buy a new car, I have decided to avoid South Bay Lube and Jiffy Lube locations altogether. I've never written a review for an oil change service before, but I felt that the team at the Washington Blvd location deserved some online praise. When I arrived, someone was there to greet me at my car and point out various beverages available in the waiting area. Once they started servicing my car, someone came in and went over the various oil options I had available, explained the price differences, and gave me a great rate on a new filter ($6). He also stapled a rebate coupon to the receipt so I could get $10 back from the Pennzoil Gold. The entire service lasted no more than 15 minutes, and I even had a few people thanking me and wishing me well on my way out. Very welcoming and efficient staff. read more

Sorry to rain on the 5 star parade, but my experience wasn't good. Sure the oil and filter were changed, but no fluids, despite being low, were topped up, including coolant and brake fluid. They must have checked the tire air pressure, but 3 out of the 4 stem caps were not tightened and were loose on the stems. The Manager was more intent on selling me a $39 cabin air filter (what $39 for a $11 filter?) then anything. Oddly, no mention if the engine filter was OK. I had inquired over the phone the previous week if a coolant flush and fill was available and the answer was affirmative. But when I got there, I was told no, they don't do this service at their location. I was advised to go to another Jiffy Lube location on S Tamiami. I went, but they said they don't do coolant changes very often, and didn't have time that morning. It seems advertised services aren't available at some Jiffy Lube's. read more

Customer service was AMAZING I usually use a few different auto shops including the dealer I bought from (Chevy from a chevy dealer) I use Midas and Sams who is really good but this jiffy lube in particular just had so much bang for the buck. I spoke with Matt who took care of me with a oil change window cleaning air pressure on my tires and much more for 75$ (oil for my car was 69$) so imagine the piece of mind I got. The whole staff was attentive and friendly constantly opening doors for other customers including myself for the shop and car service like this is hard to find nowadays especially at auto repair shops no pushy bs no upselling or anything, Matt did try to get me a new air filter which I knew I needed and he even cut the price in half (which was probably close to the non markup price) but like I said I knew I was in need of it plus when I declined he didn't keep going which annoys the hell out of me he was Beth clll respectful and professional. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to others. read more
