Poor poor poor customer service. I pulled in expecting to drive myself into the empty oil change bay and after 8 minutes the gentleman with the beard and tattoo's comes back to my vehicle and tells me he was waiting inside at the computer for me to get the oil change process started. I reminded him he didn't communicate that with me and in all the other visits I've made here (20+) I've always pulled in my vehicle myself. He said something about customers not responding to his hand signals and almost getting run over so he won't be allowing customers to drive in anymore. That's great but at the least you have to communicate that to your customers who aren't aware of that new policy. It's hard to believe that Jiffy Lube doesn't equip their employees with the basic fundamentals of customer service. And leave your attitudes at home, there are too many other oil change shops to choose from. read more

I've been coming here for years and always had a positive attitude experience! Everyone I've met is knowledgeable and helpful.

So, as it turns out, I prefer going to Jiffy Lube versus the free lifetime oil changes that I received when I purchased my car. How can that be, you ask? Convenience I say. It's a close neighborhood shop and I don't have to drive all the way to my auto dealers and wait in line. I can get in and out at Jiffy Lube and not even leave the comfort of my vehicle. The guys at the shop give me upgrade options and the last time they provided a quote for my brakes. I'm usually in and out quickly, they provide me with a sticker so I know when to go back and even helped me reset my Acura reminder light for oil changes. I pay for a bunch of memberships, like AAA and they offer a small discount for that, which is nice. The guys at this location are all pretty hardworking, professional and take time to be thorough and safe. Can recommend. read more

Went in for an oil change about a month ago. Incredibly kind and attentive staff that were good at explaining things in layman's terms and informing me about everything. A young guy who seemed relatively new took care of me and made the experience great. Very quick and efficient and had me pulling out of the place with a smile on my face. Pointing fingers isn't something I enjoy doing ever but fast forward to today when I took my 2011 Honda Pilot into the shop for maintenance on a check engine light. I was informed whoever changed my oil last damaged the oil pressure sensor and also caused a leak. I had been driving for the past month with little to no oil without having any indication what so ever. Some pretty serious damage has been done to my engine. I'm not mad at all at anyone in particular however it upsets me a place I have came to multiple times before has made this mistake now. Im not advising to not visit this business but I do advise getting a second opinion after having work done here. This was my first car when I was 16 years old and now 8 years later it might just be time to say goodbye to my car because of one detrimental mistake. All in all, I'm happy to be safe and something worse didn't happen. I hope they are able to implement some way to have multiple employees to review the work being done. read more

I had such a great experience with Jiffy Lube of West Seattle today. I initially went in to have my headlight changed. Upon removing my battery to access my light, Josh noticed the negative cable port was broken. This made sense since my car was having issues keeping a battery charge recently. Josh went above and beyond to fix everything for me as well as changed my light. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Car stuff can be stressful for me and his assistance put me at ease. Jiffy lube is lucky to have such a hard working, dedicated employee like Josh. I will continue to give my business to Jiffy Lube. This afternoon, perhaps the best I've ever received, prompting this review... I was greeted by Amy, who was patient, kind and detailed in her assistance. Waited in line 50 mins to find out they stopped offering conventional oil, which forces customers to use high mileage or synthetic. A sign advertising this seems reasonable but after waiting 50 minutes and having no easy way to back out since people are behind you pretty much committed me to paying the outrageous price of $95 for an oil change using synthetic blend. Nothing to with the employees, just shady business practice, common for jiffy lube. read more

Poor customer service. Nobody greeted me here or asked what I was looking to get done -- just started opening up my car and shouting things. At one point a dude yelled something like "bay 1 start!" from behind my hood and then seemed mad when he had to clarify he was asking me to start my car?? He shouted "hey!" to get my attention. Like bro, you haven't said a single word to me or made eye contact with me...why would I think you're suddenly talking to me? Went in to get my oil changed the employees were fighting and screaming at each other. I decided to stay because I really needed an oil change. At the end of it all I got home and had a major oil leak. My husband had to fix the issue and add more oil. I would steer clear, I don't they know what they are doing at this location. read more

I was here for Jay S's experience/toddler tantrum. I arrived at the shop about 8 hours before he did and was checking in to see how progress was going, we'd been waiting on a part for my car. They had 2 employees, one of which was a trainee not allowed to do certain parts of the services. The other was trying to get my car out of the garage while Jay and another patient man waited for help. These 2 probably hadn't had a break or even anything to eat all day. Jay climbed out of his truck and started yelling about how he had a kid in the car and how long he'd been waiting. He didn't want to hear them as the trainee couldn't do the drain and had to wait for the guy helping me. He just wanted to yell and leave. The other guy waiting and the people in line were all cool while it was explained to them that they would like to help but it was going to take some time. Jay's experience as he even states was not typical of the service he or I have experienced here. These guys are trying. Let's remember everyone is understaffed still and be good neighbors. These guys have been taking care of my 16 year old car for over a year now. You know these old fussy cars have the strangest problems. Every time I've come in they have been helpful and explained everything to me as they did it. They've never tried to up sell me or get me to do something that I wasn't there for. When I needed my brakes done they were the cheapest/fastest and I've had no problems. At this point they've done several of my oil changes/top offs, my brakes, helped with weird battery issues I was having and talked to me about what sort of maintenance would help my car last longer and continue being efficient. I'm a 3rd generation car dealer, I've worked with a lot of mechanics in my time. This location has a great team. read more

This is by far the absolute worst automotive experience I've had in my entire life. On 11/27, I was in a pinch and needed an oil change so I stopped at this location for service (mistake #1). There is no clear process or order for you to get in the queue, you simply drive up and wait and hope that they don't come up and deny service because it's "too busy." After parking my car in the incorrect spot and sitting inside what appeared to be the service desk/waiting area for 20 minutes, I noticed that other vehicles were lining up and I still had not been greeted by a member of the staff. I poked my head out the door asking for instructions only to be given a very unpleasant look that very much translated to "I hate my job and I don't want want you here." I finally get my oil change, then the service workers inform me that there's about 3-4 other issues with the car and say they can fix it. After such poor initial service and disgusted looks from hell? HA. How funny. I pay for my oil change and drive away, thankful that this dreadful experience is over and I can move on with my day. But not so fast. Not even 10 minutes after I left the service lot, I get a warning message on my car that it's overheating. "Well, how peculiar," I thought to myself, knowing that something wasn't right with this oil change. It only happened once at that time, and my car said if it happened again, to contact the nearest service center. I drove the car home and it was fine. Days go by, and the same issue continues happening. I then try to go back to the same place of service to get this situation rectified, considering everything was fine with the vehicle until these service "providers" got ahold of it. What a surprise, that when I again try to get in life for service, I'm turned away and told that the mechanic isn't available on weekends, and only available M-F. I then asked if appointments were available, considering I need this issue to be resolved and need a mechanic to look at it. I am told that there are no appointments available, that it is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and that they have no estimate for when the mechanic will be available - it's just a wait and see game. So, you're telling me, after you touched my car and it's overheating, I have to essentially play a game or chicken and wait god knows how long for god knows who to be available to look at something that was broken? Very interesting. I drive back home and the overheating issue still persists. I wait a few days and finally take it back for service (during a weekday, when the mechanic is supposed to be available). Again, I sit in the small unorganized and rugged parking lot, waiting for answers about my vehicle. A service advisors comes up and I explain the situation simply - I came on 11/27 and got an oil change. A few minutes later, my car starts overheating. You're the only service "provider" who had touched the vehicle. What is wrong and what can we do to resolve this? The service staff then go back and forth with me trying to say that there's nothing that they can do, it's outside of their scope. I'm insistent that it gets looked at, considering everything with the vehicle was fine UP UNTIL their service "provider" got their hands on it. This was a back and forth for about 2 total hours. The staff were not helpful at all and were not thrilled to see me again, evident from their facial expressions and muffled remarks about the color of my car and status. There's 20-25 minute increments that go by where I'm just sitting in the vehicle, listening to the service "providers" chatting about anime and items while I'm staring at them in the face trying to get an update on the status of my vehicle/what I need to do next. Several people go under the vehicle and begin touching it, moving things around and causing all sorts of commotion. More time goes by and there's still no update available for me, I have no idea what they're doing to the vehicle, I hear things moving, talk of them not screwing things on correctly the first time and maintenance items that were missed during the initial oil change service. Finally, I'm presented an estimate for ~$900 and these service "providers" are then telling me they can "fix" all of the issues. I laughed and proceed to leave expeditiously. read more

The team at Jiffy Lube are amazing! Very professional. An employee named Ulysses went above and beyond for me. He walked with me to my car and checked my car battery because it was dead. Ordered me a new battery, walked it over to my car on the street and installed it . In addition he brought over an air compressor to inflate my very flat tire so I could drive to Les Schwab to get it repaired. The most kind thing that's happened to me in a long time!!! My wife took our car, they began work only to tell her that when they tried to loosen the oil pan bolt, it got "tighter" they then sent her away and said they can do no more. Horrible job. Left me in a very precarious situation as I'm over seas and was helpless in this situation. The "supervisor" "Jenna" then gave my wife a card with a email that did not work. Better Believe that when I'm stateside I will sort all this out. Such unprofessionalism when you send a foreigner away with a likely unsafe situation. read more
