I also wanted to add that when I got home the day of my visit to Jiffy-Lube, my husband noticed that the coupon I'd been given as a consolation prize for being turned away had expired 3 months earlier! If you like to be assaulted , go to jiffy lube !!! Please heed this warning. I brought my car in for an oil change on a Sunday. I heard a whining noise under the hood for a while, and figured it may be a power steering fluid level issue. I asked them specifically to check the level, by the way it is "included in their signature oil change". After the oil change, they signed off on the receipt that the level was OK, and we also asked them if it was full, they said yes. After a few days, the noise became louder. Took car to the dealer, and found out the level was nearly empty. I returned to Jiffy Lube to explain they did not check the level, and had a big bill proving they had not. I asked for a refund on the "service" they in reality had not provided. The manager became aggressive, to the point of assault. He told me to leave immediately, I was trespassing. I called the police in fear of being assaulted. After all was done, no refund was offered. This Jiffy on Wickham road are a bunch of crooks, and dangerous. Needless to say, we will never be back, and are trying to warn others of the terrible customer service and low quality of personnel working there read more

This place almost ruined my wife's car by totally botching an oil job. It ended up costing us over $1000 to fix the problem. These guys don't know what they're doing. There are a ton of options in the city to get your oil changed - I'd totally pass this one up. Bad, bad experience. read more

If you value a job well done with out having to worry about extra charges being thrown at you avoid this location at all costs.... I'm not the type of person that comes to the internet to beat down local businesses but after attempts to resolve this issue, no one has ever taken the time to call me back so I feel the need to tell others about my experience. I pulled in to the Jiffy Lube and spoke with the attendant in regards to how comfortable they were working with Prius vehicles and he said they had no issue what so ever and had never heard about mpg dropping after one of their oil changes. He followed this up by letting me know my vehicle would need a synthetic performance oil that would be more expensive which I was more than fine with. After waiting an hour (not that big of a deal to me), I received a bill that included a signature service with synthetic oil and a different tech told me they had to put in recycled antifreeze, which was an additional twenty dollars (which I was never given an option in regards to what or if I wanted the recycled antifreeze). This bothered me somewhat because I said I wanted a standard oil change and didn't wanted to be upsold anything. All in all the total was $90 dollars which I thought was a little more than I expected but if my car performed well, I didn't really mind. SINCE this service was provided I am experiencing less than 35mpg (when before I was consistently getting 45-50mpg), so I decided to review my bill two weeks after service and I noticed the attendant said I declined to have my air pressure checked, declined to have my exterior windows cleaned and that they had vacuumed my vehicle (which never took place). This last part was somewhat my fault for not being more thorough in knowing what the service included but to have the techs lie about it after I had been sitting there an hour didn't even cross my mind. After looking this over and being disappointed I reached out to jiffy lubes customer service and never received a call back. I even tried to reach the branch manager and never heard anything back. All in all if you want a oil change place that takes care of your car I would avoid this branch at all costs. read more

This was my first time taking my car into a Jiffy Lube and I experienced great customer service! No one tried to scam me or take advantage of my lack of knowledge on cars, which was a big concern for me heading into it. tried going here twice and both times I got the feeling that they were not interested in getting to me and cited long wait times. This morning I showed up at 8am and was told that my car would take an hour to an hour and a half. there was one car in the bay and one car in line. I would have been number 3. I went down the street to the next Jiffy Lube and they were just opening yet the sign said that they should have opened at 7am. An employee finally came out and said that the opener did not show up and that I could drive to the next jiffy lube. So they changed my oil and put in expensive synthetic oil. Wait a minute, he forgot to put a new crush plug on! Get home, expensive oil drips out into big puddle in my garage. Huge fail for a place that is supposed to be expert in oil changes. Not. This truly happened 6/17/12. And did I go back so they could find and fix their mistake? LOL. Are you kidding. I've been in a couple times, but this last visit will be my final. After trying to up sell me on a bunch of things (30 bucks to change the air filter? come on!) Who ever worked on my car shut the hood while the hood prop rod was up. Bent and severely weakened the attach point. Called up and talked to manager. Brought it back in, and the manager denied that it happened, bent it back and just walked away. Not really a fix, still weak and broken. Manager even said, yeah we've done that before and I can tell that we didn't do it because the damage would be worse. WTF? Odd side note. I've noticed whenever I go in when this manager is working my battery needs to be replaced, yet whenever he's not working, my battery is just fine. read more

The service was fine until I got my car back. I found that a small item had been stolen and when I asked about this, I was told that the item was not in the car. I had no proof the item had been in the car so there was nothing I could do. I will never go to this Jiffy Lube again. read more

This store is amazing! I had my car battery die on me and I went in to get a new one. I was quoted $118 and unfortunately they did not have it in stock. They were able to order it for me and it came in just about an hour or so. I couldn't go to pick it up till the next day and when it was being rung up, it showed a total of $200. Seventy dollars above what I was quoted...the mechanic that was helping me however made sure to honor the price given the day before. Needless to say that was exemplary customer service! read more

I've been coming here for years and years. I have always had good experiences here. IF there are things they recommend in addition to the oil change (air filter, windshield wipers, etc) I feel NO pressure to buy them. I trust their recommendations on my old ('97!) beater. I worried about taking my car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change due to some bad choices technicians made in the past. I decided to give them another try. I spoke about my concerns to the technician and he assured me I would be taken care of. In fact, he said the current manager (and himself) have worked there for five years, which showed stability. There was no pressure... just a good job all around. I asked them not to check the air filter because it was changed recently and the housing was difficult to remove. They complied and even gave me $10 off (when I had a $8 off on-line coupon). Highly recommend! Quick - no hassles. read more

I went in yesterday for a tire rotation and oil change. I had been experiencing slipping while trying to go up hill after and during rainy days, so I thought was due for a rotation. However, upon inspection of my tires the guy informed me it would be a waste of my money and that simply my truck tires were meant for more off road capabilities than city driving. So he suggested I forego the rotation and save myself the money. As a woman who has always relied on her father to fix any automotive problem and has been taught often women are taking advantage of when it comes to vehicle repairs it was nice to know I could trust them with my truck and my money. They also asked before doing any repairs/replacements or check ups what I wanted done, not just slapping me with the bill at the end with no choice. I've been to many, many Jiffy Lubes. The guys are always friendly and the job gets done. However this particular location was the friendliest I've ever been to. I was greeted at my car door, the guy introduced himself, asked what I needed, and guided me into the waiting area while giving me a little tour. It was different than just pointing to the waiting area which I've never minded, but this particular gentleman went above and beyond. I was in and out within 50 minutes (they were busy so I don't feel it was a long wait) and they replaced my license plate light bulbs and gave me advice about my windshield wipers, transmission leak and coming in about 3000 miles overdue. I appreciate advice rather than hard selling me because I'm a naive female driver and don't know what's necessary and what isn't. (I didn't even know where the lever was to open my hood. Ridiculous, I know). All in all, this is my fav Jiffy Lube location and I will definitely be returning in the next 3000 miles (or so...). read more

Mostly I want to give these lovely folks a shout-out. Thanks to someone kicking up a sheet of metal on the 99, I was worried my undercarriage might have been damaged. I brought it fully expecting something to be cracked, but they were able to give it the green light within five minutes (even though they had a full garage at the time). my girlfriend thought she was doing me a favor so I did not have to do my own oil change we paid 70$ and all I got was low grade oil, not even topped off, and oil drain plug that is stripped, and fluids not topped off. let alone the vacuum job was sub-standard. now I have to change my own oil and replace my oil drain plug that they messed up my truck was leaking oil when she pulled up. horrible the manager was rude as were the other people I talked with at the shop to try and get my money back I wonder how they treat their own vehicles read more

I think this place must be under new management since my last visit a year back. The manager was AWESOME, and the guys couldn't have been nicer or FASTER! I was in and out with a complete oil change, new air filter, and new wipers in under 20 minutes. The manager even gave me a discount (a pretty substantial one) when I told him I'd been pricing the air filter and wipers online, so, he matched the prices I saw online. I use this Jiffy Lube exclusively. They don't try to upsell you, and have very fast service.

I would give them O .. No Stars .. if I could .. I took my 2 yr old truck in for a quick oil change, only because Jiffy Lube was 40 miles closer than my mechanic of 25 years and it needed to be done. I only requested an oil change, they proceeded to remove my air filter from the cabin to show me how dirty it was, they also proceeded to show me that my wiper blades needed replacing (they were new) and tell me that I needed a fuel filter etc .. the cost for the oil change was $55, when all the other items were added in it would have cost over $200 .. I told them to put everything back where it belongs and that I only wanted an oil change .. Later I noticed that there was oil under my truck, they had over filled it ... I also noticed that the on board computer had indicated a drop in fuel mileage from 17.5 to 12 .. just after an oil change ? The air filter that was removed, was also saturated with "OIL" and started plugging up with dirt. I replaced it myself .. read more

Reliable. Went in first thing in the morning and they told me they'd have me out in 20 minutes. Yes, they start with the upsell, and sometimes I agree and sometimes I don't but it is true they don't push the extras. I have also driven in with mechanical issues and they have recommended others in the neighborhood to address those problems. They are happy to answer questions. Super friendly and polite. Stopped by on a weekday evening at 5:40; the staff member who met me acted as if it was a huge imposition for me to be there, even though they are open until 7:00. After assurances that they would indeed be able to perform an oil change, I was directed to the office to "check in". No employee at the counter, so I waited...until someone appeared who was condescending and almost openly hostile while explaining that I would have to "follow the rules"and wait to check in later (I guess the fact that I was standing at the counter as directed by the first staff member, ready to offer my payment information, rubbed him the wrong way. Or maybe he had just had a long day. Either way, no excuses for being a jerk). At this point I asked him whether they wanted my business; the response was "ma'am, that's your choice", so my choice was to take my business elsewhere. Note to self: never go to Jiffy Lube again, and spread the word to others. No one wants to patronize a business whose employees are rude and view customers as inconveniences. read more

They did a good job for me in the past at this location so I was unprepared for what happened yesterday. First off, the way the waiting customers were treated made me uneasy, and I suspected some high pressure bait and switch, while I was being sweet talked and B.S'd at the same time. When my turn came just to talk to person there, they already had my car in bay and were getting ready to go over it, without my express permission. Finally, a man called me up to the window and asked if I had, had that truck in before, because there was no record of it in their computer. I had an oil change on that same vehicle there a little over a year ago, but there was no record in the computer? The attitude of the man I spoke to was aggressive. I said that there was a sticker (decal) on the windshield put there at the last oil change. He told me that there was none. I went out to show him the decal, and discovered that it had been removed! He claimed not to know anything about it's removal. The decal was removed by someone there at Jiffy Lube for certain. I was lied to blatantly. I immediately left and will not come back. I have told others in Ballard already, warning them to stay away from that Jiffy Lube. read more
