I was working while my oil was being changed and they got the job done without disrupting me (which I did not ask for or expect). They were kind, polite and quick. When it comes to National Chains some locations are just better than other locations of the same name. This Jiffy Lube is better than other Jiffy Lubes. When I rolled up I was immediately greeted by a wonderful young lady named Maddie, she asked the right questions, joked with me, showed me where I could wait and got my car right in. I am very specific about the type of full synthetic oil that I like to use in my car and I like to watch it be poured from the bottle (I have been cheated before, reused oil, it happens) when I requested the bottled oil the Manager, Steven, not only happily accommodated my request, he gave me a discount on the bottle service. The guys working on the car did a great job, they let me know that my air filter needed to be changed but that they were out of them. Great location, easy in and out, fast friendly service, good price, job well done. Thank you guys for taking such good care of me and my car!!!! I can't stress enough how happy I was with the job these guys did!!! Professional, happy, friendly, honest, and just damn good at what they do. Jiffy Lube - Hard at work. - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I came in for a routine oil change. They were unable to change my oil filter because it was "stuck" and only offered to discount $13 off out of $120 oil change service which was nothing. To me a complete oil service is useless without an oil filter change. When I complained about it the associate was very rude and showed absolutely no empathy. Thankfully the assistant manager was really nice and offered an additional discount but I still ended up throwing $70 away because I went to Toyota the next day. Told Toyota about my situation with the "stuck" oil filter and they did another oil change service for $109 less money with absolutely no problems and no "stuck" issues. The staff at this jiffy does not or will not take the time to troubleshoot. Go somewhere else to avoid a headache. read more

IF YOU LIKE YOUR CAR...DON'T GO HERE! I only give a one star rating when it is truly deserved and, sorry Jiffy Lube, this one is deserved. The staff here is friendly and they make you feel like your car is in good hands, but.... I went in for my 3rd oil change at this location and the guy comes out after changing my oil and says that the last time I had my oil changed the bolts were put on too tight. He said when he tried to remove them they just popped out, resulting in stripping. I told him that I got my oil changed at this location the last two time and he just kinda chuckled. With no proof I had my oil changed there last time, I was forced to pay $120 to have new holes drilled and bolts replaced at an auto-body shop...plus I was out of a car for a few days...with no apology from the Lube. A month ago, because it was too long a wait with my regular mechanic and the dealership to get the oil changed, I took my Subaru to this Jiffy Lube. Besides the engine oil, the technician said Jiffy Lube's computer system, using data directly from car manufacturers, recommended that my differential oil, at 15,000 miles, be changed, too. So I gave the okay, but because the front differential was sealed and could only be serviced by a dealer, I immediately called the dealership after leaving Jiffy Lube to schedule the service. The dealer told me that the oil in both differentials did not need to be changed until 30,000 miles; another phone call to my regular mechanic confirmed this. So I called Jiffy Lube, explained the conflicting information, and the technician told me to come back to the store and she would make an adjustment to my bill. I did and suggested that because I had received service (albeit, earlier than needed) that she might take $50 off my bill. Instead, she refunded me the total cost of the engine and differential oil changes--roughly $200. Great service, right? Well, today I took my Crosstrek to the dealer for a recall fix and when I picked up the car, the dealer informed me that the engine oil was overfilled by a quart, possibly two (a situation that can cause problems, though there was no evidence of problems so far), and needed to be drained and refilled to the proper level. The dealer could do the oil change for $100, but I opted to return to Jiffy Lube, which is nearby. The same technician that I dealt with a month ago explained that, because I had taken my car elsewhere (the dealership), it voided my warranty with Jiffy Lube and nothing could be done to address my overfill problem! I told her the dealership only checked the oil, a routine procedure when a car comes in for a recall. Then she insisted that she had changed my oil a month ago and knew it was not overfilled. I explained that the hood had not been raised since then and I was pretty sure the dealership did not add oil this morning. Finally, after conferring with a fellow who I assume was the manager, they agreed to change the engine oil. I said I'd like to watch and they told me that insurance regulations prevented me from entering the service area, so I couldn't see the dipstick to verify the overfill problem my dealer identified. However, after the oil was changed, they invited me into the service area to view the dipstick and showed me it was at the proper level. While the engine oil was being changed again, the Jiffy Lube manager and I chatted about the conflicting information around differential oil change. He insisted that Jiffy Lube's computer system and service recommendations were more up to date than the dealership's ("Dealers don't manufacture cars!"). So while I was waiting, I called Subaru of America's main customer service number and they confirmed that the dealer, not Jiffy Lube, was correct when it came to the differential oil change. As i got into my car to leave Jiffy Lube, I reported this to the manager. It was clear from his body language that he was "done with me" and just kept repeating "Drive safely, drive safely, drive safely" until I closed the car door and left. My takeway form all this: Generally nice people at the Jiffy Lube (until my parting "drive safely" encounter), but beware of their upselling of services you very likely don't need. Slow service. Rude people. They forgot to check me out and when I asked to pay they said get back and slammed the office door.

I had a wire for one of my headlights come loose and so I pulled into the first automotive shop that I saw, Jiffy Lube, to see if they could help me. They couldn't fix it for me, but the guy was extremely welcoming and told me where I could go to have it fixed. He even crawled under my car to tuck the wire in for me so it wouldn't continue to drag! The staff also seemed to work well as a team. I'll remember them when I need my oil changed! read more

I drove up right before they closed, and they were so nice to squeeze me in. My car was running like shit and I was so thankful they had time for me. They quickly changed my oil, let me sit in the car during the service. They updated me on the things that were concerning and sent me on my way in 15-20 minutes. STAY AWAY! GO TO THIS JIFFYLUBE AT YOUR OWN PERIL. Most incompetent, unprofessional, aggressive Jiffy Lube I've ever been to. A bunch of plastic parts ripped off of my car within about two minutes of leaving this location after an oil change. When I returned, I was told that it was the skid plate (wrong they don't even know what they are talking about) and that they would replace it with a brand new part. I gave them the chance to make it right and I have been let down at every turn. They eventually agreed to refund me the cost of the oil change, but they initially told me they would not because according to them "there was nothing wrong with the oil change". I honestly cannot stress enough how you shouldn't go to this location. The district manager has been of 0 help and corporate has been of even less help getting this resolved. She fixed us up and had our oil changed in a literal jiffy (is that overused?) and was kind enough to price match the mysterious coupon that had found its way into our lives. SO KIND. Excellence from start to finish. Went in for an oil change and new wipers, and found out my battery was overdue for replacement. Not a problem! These guys were not only professional and knowledgeable, they were also efficient as all get out so even with the extra task I was still out of there in, well...in a jiffy, hahaha. Special shout-out to Andrew, the GM, for explaining everything to me in ways I understood, AND finding coupons that applied toward my total so I ended up saving money. Before I even had the time to get out of my large van/mini bus, I was turned away and asked(nicely) to go to another location. Apparently, they didn't have the correct info on the vehicle and were too worried to do an oil change. They didn't even bother looking into it, as it shares the same engine/front end as the Chevy Savanna and Express. The next location I went to, scanned the vin and had me in the bay within minutes. I have had my oil changed here for the last 5 years (with my 2012 Toyota Camry and 2016 Toyota 4Runner), nothing but good things to say about the staff/management. There has only been one time I've had to come back in after an oil change where the light was still on. The manager (Steven Shepard) took care of it right away and gave me a free oil change for my next visit. It's clear he and his staff want to do the right thing and take care of the customer. My check engine light went on so I took it to the local shop guys I know recommended. I explained I recently had an oil change at JL location on 196th and Aurora but didn't feel confident with their work. Theo was very friendly and helpful, explained what he was doing, why and what he found out. Need new spark plugs. Recommended why they should be replaced sooner rather then later and the cost. He checked other fluids and topped off antifreeze at no charge. Would recommend this shop and since I work 5 minutes away will bring my business here instead of Lynnwood location which is closer to home. Andrew was very friendly and helpful as well. Would give it a 6th star if I could. Just went in for a routine oil change, and although I know this really shouldn't be included in a standard oil change I asked if they could determine the source of an oil leak while they were doing the oil change. After about 5 minutes, they technician came in and told me that the source of the leak was a faulty oil relay and contacted Napa down the street to inquire about a replacement part since they did not stock it. The person at Napa wasn't able to understand, so the technician took a photo of it with his cell phone and walked over to Napa to show them the part. Mind you it was raining, and about 35 degrees at the time and this is about a half mile walk from the store. Seriously this was way above and beyond what I would expect from a routine oil change, and will happily use them again. Prices are really reasonable as well. For a SUV, high mileage car with premium oil the whole thing only cost about $60. Love this place. read more

When they ran my VIN the manager said I still 800 miles left till next oil change and asked if I wanted to come back when I was due, how cool is that? I went ahead and asked him to perform the service since I was already there. At this time you stay in your vehicle while they do their work. Do not go there! I went there and paid $100 to get my oil drained and get no new oil.... I happened to take my car to mechanic for different reason and my mechanics told me that my oil is empty! My car is still new and do not leak any oil. I immediately called jiffy lube and spoke to a manager. He basically told me that my mechanic doesn't know how to read oil stick. read more

Super quick. Nice service. Got my oil changed with no wait around 5pm on a Thursday. They recommended services and asked if I wanted any of them added on to the basic oil change. I desperately needed an oil change with not much time to spare, so I passed on everything else and was driving out 15 minutes later. They also vacuumed my car which was a nice touch. I suppose there's always a danger with going to the quick oil change places; they tend to have technicians who may cause inadvertent damage to your car. After going in for a quick oil change, as soon as I got into the car again, I noticed that the interior lights no longer worked and the car door alarm was automatically triggered. Thinking that they blew a fuse while working on the car, I brought it back for them to reinspect. They denied that anything they did may have caused this (despite it working when I dropped it off and it didn't after the oil change) and said that they couldn't fix it. read more

Got my oil changed this weekend and used a coupon from the mail. Knocking the price down to $24.99 is the only reason I'd ever go back, but I'd be aware. They offered to replace a burnt out brake light for $12 as part of my oil change. I declined, bought a two-pack of lights at O'Reilly for $5 and was going to fix it this morning. Jiffy Lube helped me out with getting new wipers and they also put them on for me during very bad weather. Mine were all messed up- bent and damaged in a rain storm. I know I looked clueless pulling up there but I just couldn't fix them myself- they were beyond repair- and it was pouring outside. The guys were very nice to me and the service was quick. read more

While the staff was friendly enough and my oil was changed, I have to give one star for their deplorable upselling practices. I don't know if they tried to rip me off because I'm a young woman who probably knows nothing about cars or if they do this to everyone, but be warned - if they suggest that you need something done beyond an oil change, get a second opinion from a mechanic you trust. I was told that I needed my serpentine belt replaced because it had cracks in it. If a serpentine belt breaks, your car is basically not usable - you lose the alternator, power steering, air conditioning...etc. I declined the offer to fix it and instead did a bit of research online. It turns out that a serpentine belt commonly has cracks in it and that is OK - as long as the cracks are less than an inch long. I opened the hood after learning where to look and my belt didn't have ANY cracks in it at all. What Jiffy Lube does to make an extra buck is downright predatory. read more

This place has really gone down hill. I'm a long time customer (13 years+.) Visits used to be pretty reliable, but then they started forgetting key services, checking boxes on items they didn't do, etc. But the low point was today- I came by, they took my key, and told me to sit in the office. They didn't even check me in for over a half hour, so I left. None of the mechanics had uniforms of any sort on- and their behavior and confusion made me wonder whether the manager had simply corralled a few dudes off the street a few minutes prior. Everything you could ask for from an oil change! Done in 12 minutes, the technician was patient and thorough when explaining what services were recommended and what the costs of them would be. I even got a $20 discount because of a promotion they were running! In a ridiculously short period of time, and with a too-casual attitude, the young guy said he was done. He also didn't look my car up on their computer.
