When we first got there the first person who greeted us told us it would be a couple of minutes till someone could sign us in. He didn't explain that they were looking at our car's diagnostics so that they could let us know their recommendations. It took a couple of minutes for them to get back to us but once they did the information they gave us was awesome. They explained all of our choices. They were very knowledgeable. It helped us to make good decisions about what needed to be done that day and what we could do later. They were awesome. They vacuumed the car and even rinsed out some cups we had on floor. We were very impressed and will definitely be back. They were also really good about accommodating coupons. read more

My Mom let me borrow her '05 Civic to tour California, and I noticed that we had gone over the requisite 3000 miles since her last oil change. We also had gone over 5 mountain passes and had added almost 2000 miles in the California drought land (still hot down there, not much water) and as a "thanks, Mom" I got her oil changed (nearest to my house). First time there: was greeted promptly, felt comfortable asking questions and was out...in a Jiffy. Joe, Shawn and Greg were all professional, courteous and helpful. Had really low air in my tire due to a suspected leak, so I went to Jiffy Lube quickly to get my air filled so I could head home and go to another place to fix my tire. When we tried filling it with air, the leak got louder due to a busted air valve. Niko, Joe, and Shea came to the rescue and tried all options they could think of to help me out. When they didn't work, they helped me replace it with a spare, and told me where I could go to get the other tire fixed. I was in town for a conference during rush hour, and my phone was dead, but they were kind enough to look for a phone charger and give me directions to write down. I highly recommend going to this location! They will do everything to make sure you're safe, comfortable, and your problem is solved. Thanks for helping me get home! read more

Best Jiffy Lube location I have visited in Seattle thus far! During a routine oil change, a lady technician helped get me checked out and was kind enough to notify me that my break fluid was almost entirely out. A week prior, I had all my breaks replaced and assumed the sponginess was because they were new. Turns out that my caliper was damaged after the repair, and I could have seriously gotten hurt if I wasn't notified sooner. Thank you to the staff for keeping me and my car safe! :-) read more

Total rip off!! 89$ for just oil change. I went to this place a week back for oil change on 46K mile car. All they changed is oil and anti-freeze. They claim 24$ and 29$ oil changes but not sure why the difference is so high with other oils. Once my car is on the bay, he showed in computer that my car needs synthetic ( And this is my first oil change on this car since I brought it from a dealer 3 months ago). Later on when I searched online, Synthetic oil is only recommended for this car NOT required. Even with Synthetic oil, 89$ price is way too much!!! read more

I am new to yelp, but felt very compelled to make a post after my IPOD was stolen. I placed my IPOD in my glove box after work and headed straight to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. The oil change was done very quickly and everything appeared to be great. From there, I headed straight to the gym, but was shocked to learn that my IPOD had been pulled from my glove box. Now, I cannot accuse one employee in particular, but am absolutely certain that it was removed while I was there. I called first to confirm there was no appointment needed - they told me to come down anytime. I pulled up and there were a few cars ahead of me but they came right out to greet me. There were two women working there which I thought was kinda cool - something you don't see every day (just adding my experience that wasn't why I gave it 4 stars). I wanted to go shop at Bed, Bath, & Beyond so I thought I would just immediately leave - they asked me to have a seat in the office until I was checked in. I didn't get checked in until they actually started on my car. Initially this was a bit annoying to me which is why I can't give them a perfect score but it was probably only a 10 minute wait. If you don't want to leave (Dahlia bakery is very close, why wouldn't you leave???) then the chairs in the office appear to be newer, comfy, and clean. I got checked in and was able to do my shopping. I brought a $5 off coupon with me - search online, they are easy to find - and they also sold me on some coupon book for $3 that gives another $5 off (ok now $2 off but there are coupons for future visits). I did my shopping and when I returned car was done, windows washed, inside vacuumed and no, they didn't try to sell me on a bunch of other stuff. My total was something like $42 - around the same as the dealer but I got out much faster and was able to run an errand while I was there. I would definitely go back again. Arrived 30 minutes before they were scheduled to open, and I was greeted warmly by a man out front. I needed routine oil change before a long road trip and instead of having me wait until they opened they brought me in and serviced the car right away. They went with the recommended motor oil and checked my battery and air filter. They informed me that my battery was in poor condition (probably because I usually only take short trips infrequently) and that I should look into getting it replaced. They didn't have any batteries on hand, but they said if I bought a battery elsewhere and came back they would replace it for me. They showed me the air filter, and it looked clean so they told me no replacement was necessary. They vacuumed the seats and car floor. I asked about the tread on my tires and a tire rotation since it had been about 6K miles, but after a quick inspection the technician let me know that the tread on my front tires was deeper than my rear tires and that no rotation would be necessary. They forgot to reset the oil lifetime tracker on my car but I was able to do it myself with no problem. Friendly techs and good service. Would recommend for anyone that's in the downtown area and looking for a convenient, affordable, walk-in auto shop. This time around, my dad had just arrived from Miami, and I felt awful that the first stop on our visit was to have my oil changed. To make things worse, my dad was dealing with a bad back. They definitely try to upsell you on anything possible they can. I called to have a simple oil change, and they said it's first come first serve and I should come by. They helped me very quickly, and were polite. I was just uncomfortable with the mechanic trying to sell me upgrades on everything possible. He even pulled out my (almost brand new) air filter and had it on the table already when he was showing me the pricing breakdown. He was clearly going to try to sell me a new air filter installment when I didn't ask for that. I appreciate preemptive service, but not when it feels like they're just trying to get more money out of me. He even said you should have told me your air filter was new! But why would I mention that if I only requested an oil change.. All in all they did a quick oil change and added some coolant for me, and also vacuumed around my seats which was awesome. I am really disappointed in my visit here today - both disappointed in them and disappointed in myself for not noticing what they were doing before it was too late! I have had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube in the past and never had a problem. So when the guy at this place took me through the little computer presentation of the state of my car I more or less just nodded along. He didn't ask me any questions - such as what kind of oil I wanted!!! I did tell him to go ahead and replace the air filter (silly, I now realize) and he told me the bill would be $136. I sat down to wait and the suddenly it sunk in that the price was WAY more than I have ever paid. I went and asked and he said that my car (a Toyota Corolla) required the $79 oil change which includes the expenseive oil. I told him I had never paid for that oil before and he said it said to use that oil right on my oil cap! I checked my owner's manual and it said the cheaper oils could be used - of course they can - it's a Toyota Corolla for gosh sakes!! It was too late for them to take the oil out (if they even put that in - how would I know??) - the guy did give me $10 off when I expressed my displeasure, but I still feel like he totally took advantage of me. He pointed out the little sticker they put on to tell me when to come back and it said my next oil change would be due on Aug. 26 - today's date. Go figure. No mileage was written in. Obviously just a mistake, but it doesn't matter because I won't be back. I checked my past Jiffy Lube receipts and NONE of them (including this location) had ever put in $79 oil. Think twice before you let Jiffy Lube change your air filters...I use Jiffy Lube off and on for convenience and this week I made a major mistake when they showed me a dirty air filter and I did not know the "real" cost of a replacement air filter. I asked how much and they quoted me $30 and at the time I thought that was high but had no idea so I authorized the change. Later when I got home and checked online I was shocked to learn the high cost at an auto parts store was $20 and the low was $8 on Amazon. Even if I factor shipping and the 5 minutes to install the filter it is no where near $30 I was charged for an air filter. Lesson Learned.. Maybe Jiffy Lube will learn that if they continue to overcharge for air filters they need not wonder why you are really better off to find a reliable local garage that you trust. read more

He was so friendly and sweet. They had my car in and out in under 15 minutes for a full oil change, they even vacuumed the car and washed the windows! But Greg really made my experience a great one. I love this place! It has never taken them more than 10 minutes to do my oil change, they always have some sort of coupon or deal, the workers are nice, and even when I showed up 10 minutes before close, they changed my oil and were very nice about it. They have never tried to sell me anything extra which, I understand, is their JOB! It is their job to let you know of anything needs replacing and to sell you that part and then install it. I have not needed anything replaced so, i dont believe they are trying to sell anyone anything they dont need. Good, quick, fairly priced oil change! read more

4 stars for Jiffy Lube? Sheeeeeit. Really good experience here though. Like any other Jiffy Splooge they'll try to sell you some shit you don't need, but I just told em I couldn't afford any of that and they were cool, job was done properly and they were all friendly, laughs were had. Good experience! Jiffy Lube still sucks as a general rule but having been to quite a few locations, this one has been my favorite along with the one on Greenwood & Holman. Avoid any Jiffy Lube further north! read more

Stopped by at 1:30 today (Friday) for an oil change. I was the only one there and greeted by 4 employees who were ready to roll and get me in and out! The manager, Greg, was lovely, super friendly helpful and kept me in the loop on the costs. They put my new license plates on for me free of charge, which I neglected to do for 2 months and they saw them in my windows so they offered! Its customer service like that that'll make me head back there for the next oil change. Thanks guys! read more

I've waited a while to write a review here, mostly because I hate writing a bad review and because I've been a Jiffy Lube customer for about 20 years, so I was hoping they'd follow-up on a mistake that cost me missed hours at work and an unpleasant evening. I had my oil changed for the first time on my brand new car after work one evening at this location. When driving away, I heard a sound coming from my left rear tire but wasn't sure with street noise if it was coming from my car. It was, and within 10 minutes I had a completely flat tire on the highway. I called Jiffy Lube and their solution was for me to "come back and they'd check it out" but that they felt it was a coincidence that I'd just been there. Obviously, with a flat tire, I couldn't just come back to get it checked out. I was able to get help to change my flat and found a screw from my undercarriage stuck in the tire. I had to take off a few hours of work the next morning to get the tire fixed where they confirmed that the screw had come from the undercarriage of my car during the oil change. They also noted that several screws from my undercarriage were missing. Considering this was the first oil change on a brand new car it is obvious that Jiffy Lube had lost the screws, or were just too lazy to put them all back. I called Jiffy Lube again the next day to make sure that a quality control report had been filed. When mentioning my complaint the Jiffy Lube employee literally said "what do you want me to do about it?" Not the customer service you want when a mistake has been made. The manager was slightly more considerate and said a QC report had been filed and someone would be in touch in a few weeks. However, I have never heard back from customer service re this incident as he assured me I would, nor have I heard a word from the company. Mistakes are made and I understand that but it's how a company responds to them that matters. Had I been treated with any sort of consideration or had the company provided even an apology I wouldn't be posting a negative review, but that never happened. Customer service tip: when you make a mistake, apologize, it can go a long way. read more
